Forecast for planning over the Cost element/Cost center with KP06

Hi all
I'm searching a idea: one of our chief controller need to insert a "forecast" of budget inserted over the various cost elements/cost centers using the transaction KP06. THe problem is that he don't want lost the budget because he can need the reload the previous budget data during the year if the actual situation change. Obvisiously the insertion of the forecast overwrite the budget data over the version 0. This forces us to download over a file the budget and archive it, and reload it eventually. But this solution, a part the programming effort, don't permit to have both the data at the same time in the system. Exist a pratical customizing solution in CO for manage a "forecast"? Our release is 46c.

Can you explicate me these concepts (or the transaction used for make this, probably I know this but in italian the name is different)? The KP47 copy the value over the single cost element or only the total of cost center?

Are you sure? The KP98 have the description "Copy by actual version to planned version", the KP97 "copy from planned to planned"

Secondory cost is a re allocation of Primary cost. It should not be considered if you are considering primary cost. Secondary cost is used for analysis and should not be confused with Primary cost
Ex. Cost gets collected to cost centers, The activity is a carrier which carries cost to Process/ production order. So that doent mean that the cost is gernerated twice once you book the financial and second when you acutally allocate the cost.
In controlling we allocate the cost in a more meaningful way to get the required analysis which will support the decision.
So both the cost should not be considered

exp: salary booking in primary cost,than Per hour man hour cost computed by costing dept for allocate to concern department
it is cost center activity price we specify in kp26 at the time of pm order confirm it will confim the activity quandity price will from planning area only, so for salaries in primary g/ls already captured, if we consider secondary it may double booking

Settling the WBS element costs to an AuC

Please Explain the procedure for settling the WBS element costs to an AuC & then to asset?

Hi,
Please follow the below sequence of steps for this:
1) For WBS element where the asset has to be created, AUC willbe created automatically when the WBS element is in release status to get this investment profile should be assigned to WBS element in Control Tab
2) You can see in the system status show as AUC to see the AUC number follow the path
EDIT-> WBS element -> Investment program--> Asset under Construction where you can see the AUC which is created automatically
3) Once the above two steps are through, for settlement to AuC goto transaction CJ88 give the WBS element number select the processing type as partial captalization and execute all the costs pertaining to that. WBS elements will be automatically settled to the AUC which is created for that WBS element

It would be better if you could get in touch with your ABAP guys and ask them to help you out in this. Else you could search the internet and you will find lot of links that explain LSMW step by step.

Go to GRR2. Double-click on the row All Values under Cost Elements/Costs Centers. Remove cost center in the pop up screen and click on the check mark to continue. Now, create another column for the cost center. Bear in mind that, you can only do this in the copy you created.
Please disregard my earlier suggestion. Because if you do, it will change the whole format of the report and will not produce a suitable result.

Will I get charged for going over the CC limit?

I have a CC that I just basically maxed out without going over the limit but was real close. I want to know if when they calculate the interests on the debt with that put me over the limit on the card which will then trigger them to charge me a fee for going over the limit? I know I should not do this but I have a check coming in a couple of months that will clear the debt completely so no worries there. Thanks in advance

When we get the actual data in BPC for planning, is the data consolidated

I had a question regarding Planning. When we get the actual data in BPC for planning, is the data consolidated? Do we need to run the consolidation business rules( IC Booking, Matching, IC Eliminations) on the data before we can use it for planning? Per my understanding we have to run Currency Conversion on this...correct?
Also, where do I get my actual data from? Does ECC/ Source system have data from all entities( CHQ, Region and Countries)?

In a hierarchical structure, the data is always loaded in to the base level, and the data is automatically rolled up to its parents.
The currency conversion will also take place at the base level, and as mentioned earlier, the converted data will also be rolled up as per the hierarchy.
The heading of this thread says planning. So, ideally, there wont be any legal (or statutory) consolidation. You might use the US elimination however, for eliminating the intercompany transactions, if any.
The planning can be done as zero based (wherein the user has to enter the planned data manually from scratch) or non-zero based (wherein the planned data of previous year is copied and the user can change the data as required).
The flow of events cannot be suggested by us. It has to be discussed with the business to understand how do they do the planning.

My MacBook works fine wifi everywhere except for home. The home wifi is fine with the iPad and iPhone, so I assume the issue is with my computer. My computer works fine on wifi networks elsewhere. The only problem is at home.
The computer "connects to the wifi," but browsers and other internet-dependent software do not work. Curiously, if I connect the ethernet cord that doesn't work either. Usually if I reset the modem to factory settings twice (for some reason, once doesn't do the trick), my computer will fully connect to the wifi. However, in a few days, it goes back to not working.
Today, resetting the modem didn't work. I could only get wifi connection while in safe mode, but not in normal mode. So, the issue seems to be software not hardware. I have tried starting new accounts in normal mode, but those also don't connect properly to internet.
Not sure if this is relevant, but this problem started when my building switched internet providers from ComHem to Telia (I live in Sweden).
What do you recommend I do?

Not unless the modem is causing a problem.
What you want to do is get it to work reliably over Ethernet first, then tackle wifi. Power off the modem. On your macbook, delete the Ethernet configuration and the Wifi configuration. Power up the modem, then connect the mac via Ethernet. Create the new Ethernet configuration and see if you can connect.

AND by the way it takes 10-15 minutes before it even attempts to import photos. The screen says importing photoes but doesnt try to optimize or anything for 10 minutes. I have a 3gs with 16Gb so its not a cheap phone. I have 10Gb free. I have 6600 photoes. This is very frustrating and undermines my confidence in your products. My ipod is an ipod 4 with 16Gb also. It does the exact same thing to it. The last time, I had to import photoes a few at the time and with it taking 10-15 minutes each time for 6600 photos it is a long frustrating process. But it will import every photo a few at a time. The error message is just that itunes has stopped working. no hint as to why. AND of course, my phone is out of use for the entire time. You guys must not want to believe ur phones are a necessary tool...or maybe you dont want the consumer to believe it is. I have tried to find solutions on your website as well as through other 3rd party communities. Ultimately they were of no use. I stumbled onto my solution by accident since Im a bit of a computer geek...a semi-geek.

basically whenever I try to sync my ipod touch 4G 64GB it crashes iTunes when it begins the pictures. if im lucky ill get 4-5 on there before it stops responding. its not my system or anything im running win7x64 8GB DDR3 ram (Corsair XMS3) AMD FX Eight core processor.
