  • How do i upload my pictures to the cloud?

i just upgraded to the iCloud 200GB. But i don't know how to get all of my photos uploaded to the iCloud?

Which Mac OS X version do you have?
But i don't know how to get all of my photos uploaded to the iCloud?
Wait till early next year. MacOS X does not yet support iCloud Photo Library. You can store folders with photos on iCloud Drive (if you have upgraded to Yosemite, see iCloud Drive FAQ), but you cannot yet store a Photo Library on iCloud Drive and access it from iPhoto or Aperture and browse or edit your photos across devices.  iCloud photo Library for Mac has been announced to come with the Photos app for Mac early next year.
If you are using iCloud Photo Library (Beta) for iOS on your iPhone or iPad (see iCloud Photo Library beta FAQ), you should be able access it from your Mac using the Web interface and Photos (Beta) on https://www.icloud.com  or https://beta.icloud.com
Only the photos app on these two pages has not been working reliably during the last two days.

i was transferring my information from my old iphone to the new one, and i forgot that i had some pictures in the new one. i did the restoring information and the pictures in new one are gone. how can i get them back???? please

Only way to get it back is to restore your phone from a backup, if those pics were included in that backup.
But most likely those pics are gone.
What you should've done was import http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 the pics to your computer and after you restored from your old backup, you could sync those new pics to your phone via itunes.

  • How do I move pictures off my phone without losing the pictures permanently?  Is there a way to keep the pictures in the cloud without them being on my device?

How do I move pictures off my phone without losing the pictures permanently?  Is there a way to keep the pictures in the cloud without them being on my actual phone?  I'm concerned that the sync feature will remove the pictures from the cloud when they are deleted from my phone.
    Thanks for the help.

Can I back up iPhoto to the cloud via some apple service (iCloud)
    No
or do I need to use something else?  If so, any recommendations?
    An external hard disk:
    Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store

  • How do I move my finished pictures to the cloud?

Try as I may, I was unable to move my pictures to the cloud. Probably simple.

Since I don't use iOS, under Android, you should be where your PS Touch projects are in front of you. You then tap the "share" icon (5th from the upper right) and then tap, "Upload to Creative Cloud." Choose your projects and the desired file format and then tap, "OK."

how can i get my pictures from the cloud if deleted from my Iphone?

Restore a backup of your phone that was made while the photos were still on it.  It should include your camera roll photos.  This explains how to restore an iCloud backup: iCloud: Restore your iOS device from iCloud.

I assume you mean from photostream, AFAIK you can't.

  • How to store pictures in the cloud storage

Can you store pictures in the cloud service? What would the cost be and if at all possible or is it only for music..Thanks...

Jason, is there a way to store the photos into a permanent cloud storage and keep them there? I guess, something like the itunes music, where apple saves all of your music....Thank you for the site, which has helped me considerably to understand what it is all about...Ciao, Jo
Jo, not that I'm aware of as an offering from Apple. While the photo stream can serve that purpose for a finite period of time (it's a rolling 1,000) if you're looking for web/cloud hosting or something similar to the galleries feature that .Mac/MobileMe offered you'll need to seek it elsewhere. The good news, there are numerous cloud storage services out there most of which offer free storage ranging between 2GB and 5GB.
I personally use Dropbox.com for photo galleries and cloud storage/file sharing. But there's several to pick from and all of them are quite good.

  • Syncing to ICloud stopped. Missing some pictures in the cloud.

Hi, anyone out there that has a solution to this. Seems I have the same problem as Walt Mossberg  had with his review for the PHOTO app  http://recode.net/2015/04/14/review-photos-apples-replacement-for-iphoto/
The upload screens stays at 20 pictures to upload since 2 days now. But i'm still missing a few 100 pictures in the cloud.
    Thanks
    Filip

Thank you.  When I go into system preferences, then iCloud, then manage, it does not let me view what is there only says:  ex: The documents stored inside Pages take up 623.3KB and gives me the option to: Delete Documents and Data.  It does not let me see what files are there.   I think it is time for me to go back to my apple store and get more acquainted with iCloud and storage and how to manage it.  I had some issues with my mac about a month ago after downloading an updated version.  The issue was related to syncing, iCloud, iTunes, calendar and storage.  I am nervous about loosing more documents, photos, etc..from my Mac.  Thank you for the information.

  • When I upload my photos to the cloud will the storage capacity in my device be adjusted?

When I upload my photos to the cloud will the storage capacity in my device be adjusted?

See the following quote from iCloud Photo Library beta FAQ - Apple Support
How does iCloud Photo Library save space on my device?
If you turn on Optimize [device] Storage, iCloud Photo Library will automatically manage the size of your library on your iOS device, so you can make the most of your device's storage and access more photos than ever. iCloud Photo Library stores the original, high-resolution photos and videos in iCloud and can keep lightweight, device-optimized versions on each of your devices. As long as you have enough storage, recent photos and videos that you access the most will stay on your device at full resolution.
You can turn on Optimize [device] Storage from Settings > iCloud > Photos or Settings > Photos & Camera > iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You need an Internet connection to access an original photo or video that’s stored only in iCloud.

That is only present if you have already updated to iOS 5 or later.  If you're on iOS 4 you can only update while connected to your computer's iTunes.

You can't access iCloud from your iPhone unless you're on iOS 5 or later.  Otherwise, refer to this article:

  • Is there a way to upload files directly to the cloud from bridge cc?

Is there a way to upload files directly to the cloud from bridge cc? I use bridge to organize my files. It would be a lot easier if I didn't have to drag and drop files into the cc folder, I was hoping that there might be an easier way.
    thanks,

When you save them just make sure you save them to your Mac and not iCloud. For those that already exist, you can move them from iCloud by dragging and dropping them to somewhere else on your Mac. To see all the files in iCloud choose file > open in either pages or numbers.

  • How do I get my pictures from the cloud?

I upgraded from the iPhone 5 to the 6 last week. When I brought it home and connected to the wifi all my pictures downloaded from the cloud. Now they have disappeared. How do I get them back?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your photo stream and shared streams belong to your Apple ID. If you have removed the account and logged in with a different one, you won't be able to see them, you will need to sign back in with your old ID.

  • How do I upload IPAD apps to the cloud so I have more room on my IPAD?

How do I upload apps from my IPAD 2 to the cloud so I have more space on my IPAD?

If you are running out of space on your Device... You need to Delete Content from your iDevice...
Goto... Settings > General > Usage > Storage = Then Delete Content...
    See Here  >   http://osxdaily.com/2013/07/24/remove-data-storage-iphone-ipad/
    Note:
Purchasing more Storage on iCloud will not increase the Storage Capacity of your iDevice.

That is not how iCloud works.
