Forgot Nokia 5310 Key unlock code

i have forgotten the code which unlocks my nokia 5310 keypad
i really need some help because i can't do anything without it.
Also if it helps i of course have all the items that came with it usb, instructions,etc
if i left anything out please ask, because i really need to get it unlocked (preferably at home rather than taking it somewhere)

I'm afraid there's nothing you can do as an end-user. If there was, the security code would be of little use...
Your only options are:
1) remember the security code, or
2) Take the phone to a Nokia Care Point, where they can reset the security code.
Note that the NCP will want to see documents proving that you are the owner of the phone and that is isn't one you "borrowed" or "found" somewhere. An invoice showing the phone's IMEI and your name, and photo ID are what's required usually.

The "master codes" are a myth, and don't work!
If you forgot your phone's security code, only a Nokia Care Point can reset the security code.

Nokia N95 8GB unlock code?

hi i have this nokia n95 8GB i bought from ebay and its got some lock code on it and i dont know what it is, neither does the seller how do i reset the whole phone without needing to have put the lock code in?

Updating the firmware on an N95-2 will reset the security code to 12345.
However, your original query wasn't that clear. Is it the phone's security code you're asking for or the unlock code that allows you to use SIM cards from networks other than the original one the phone was used on (so-called restriction code)? Only the original network can provide the restriction code.
Also make sure that it is in fact a genuine N95-2 that you have. There are countless fakes on sale on eBay.

Nokia 5610 Lost unlock code ( not security code )

I buy nokia 5610 and set password guard for keyboard. I press incorrect. I has not change security code ( 12345 ) Please help me. Now I only used answer any call .... huhuhuhu

if you haven't changed the security code then the unlock code should be the same....
I don't understand why you are saying that the default code ain't working!!

Nokia 5310 - key lock problem

I really like this phone but the only problem Im having is when Ive locked the keys (Menu + * key) Im sometimes finding it very slow to unlock as the screen seems to freeze. I have to repeatedly press the central menu key hard until the screen sparks back to life, then i can unlock the keypad again. Im sure this cant be right. Anyone else noticed this?
My firmware is 5.82

I am having the same problem. I want to eliminate the my 5310 Nokia from automatically locking the keys every 45 seconds, it really sucks having to press the unlock. I can't find the solution in the owners manual, so I am trying to
find the answer to remove the key lock. I cannot use a phone if all it does is puts on a keylock automatically.
Can you help me if you find the answer to remove the automatic keylock? I want to eliminte this.

Nokia 6500 key unlock

Hi there,
My Nokia 6500 slide if I lock the keypad ..It should automatically unlock the key pad while opening.
But often it does not. It asks
Press "unlock" and "OK"
but often it just does not unlock so I have to remove battery and start with pass word again.
Is this phone broken? or somebody can help giving tip?

Not only can you not enter a code if your phone's keypad is locked, but also *#7370# doesn't work on Series 40 phones such as the 6500s.
My advice is to take the phone into a Nokia Care Point for them to reset it and, if one is available, install a firmware update. Only a Nokia Care Point can reset a S40 phone.
Since this is a locking problem you'll have to provide proof of ownership.

Forgot nokia c2-02 security code

Hi, may we know the reasons why you want to restore or format the device? What issues are you having with it?
Anyway, you may consider inputting 12345 first. This is the default security code. However, if you have changed the security code and you have forgotten it as you have mentioned in the post, the best thing to do is to bring the phone to a Nokia Care Point to reset the code back to factory default.

I Forgot Nokia 2320c's Security Code

I decided to lend this phone to a friend and they changed the security code without my knowledge. Now when I boot the phone I am prompted to enter in a security code. I don't know this code, and my friend who I lent it to has forgotten the code. I want to do a hard reset and get rid of all the information on the phone and return it to its stock form.
If anyone has any idea how I can accomplish this without the security code I would be really appreciative.

Unfortunately it is not possible to remove or reset the code yourself unless you know the original code. It's also not possible to wipe the data without the code.
To get it removed you will need to visit a nokia care point as they have the tools to do it. They may ask to see proof of ownership before they will perform the procedure and all data will be wiped from the phone. They will also charge for the service so I suggest you ask your friend to pay the bill!

If you have no care points in your country your only hope is to ask for help at a phone repair shop but they may not have the tools to do it.

Delays in getting unlock codes?

Hi,
Anoyone know if there are currently issues within Nokia in getting unlock codes? I've recently got a 1020 from eBay locked to three. I've gone through three's unlock process and they have been happy to process it for me (for £15) but it has now been two weeks and no code.
Three are telling me that the delay is with Nokia - that everything is good at their end and they will be happy to unlock it, but that they are not getting the code back from Nokia.
Anyone else having issues or anyone from Nokia here able to comment?

when I buy a phone full price from att or tmo here in the USA, I get on the phone with their customer service, and once it is confirmed that it is a full price purchase, I tell them I need the device for travel immediately so as the reason I purchased it at full price so need the code.
I usually have the code in about 10-30 minutes time.
you can always check online as well for unlocking, though you will have to pay again.

Do vodafone lie about N70 unlock codes?

Hi every one, long time reader-first time poster! I recently bought myself a nearly new N70 from ebay locked to vodafone uk. Got myself a cheap vodafone pay as you go sim, registered it with the network and paid my £20 top up fee to get the unlock codes. Great, couldn't have been easier, be with you in 10 days they said....2 weeks later on contacting them, "oh, your phones not on our database, so we have to apply to Nokia for the unlock codes" it could be as much as a month they said!
Now six weeks later, ring again and get the same story "oh, we've emailed nokia, its up to them now to send the info through".
Do vodafone just plain lie about these things?, do nokia ever have anything at all to do with unlock codes?

So its a catagorical, undisputable cast iron fact that Nokia have nothing what so ever to do with unlock codes and vodafone would have no reason at all to contact nokia for codes?????

How to unlock memory card nokia 5310

i just updated my nokia 5310 firmware from 5.81 to 8.32 and now my memory card has locked itself.
can anyone help with this?

If the phone is requesting an unlock code it's because the phone is SIM locked by the operator you received the phone from. To unlock your phone, please contact them as only they are able to unlock the phone for you, this cannot be done by us.
