Forgot password, not getting reset email.
Hey Spotify, Here's the situation: I have been a happy Spotify Premium customer for many months now. My computer's harddrive was replaced resulting in needing to reinstall Spotify. For the past week I have had Spotify working perfectly on my iPhone and signed in to my Premium account. Once I reinstalled Spotify onto my computer I could not remember my account password. I requested the password but have not recieved the email to reset it for many days. (It is not in a junk folder, I just haven't gotten it) Desperate to get it working, I signed in through Facebook. I think by doing this I have mistakenly opened a new account seperate from my old Spotify account. It does not have any of my playlists from my phone or any of my saved music on it. I thought if I signed up for Premium again on my computer account the info would be transfered from my iPhone. I think I stupidly signed up for two seperate Premium accounts and am now stuck paying for it on the account I cannot access because I lost the password and Spotify isn't responding to me. Why have I not receieved the email to reset my password? How do I access my account that isn't through FB? Can I cancel one of the accounts and get my money back for the Premium I have just mistakenly signed up for? (or could I put it towards a month in the future on the right account?) Customer service has not responded to me so I hope to get answers from this. I wish Spotify has a customer service phone number. PLEASE HELP! Thank you, Sarah

Three days ago, I left home for the united kingdom. When i arrived here, I couldn't go on my main spotify account with my Facebook log in name [snip-mod edit-email] (On forums called L3ibii). So I thought of making a new spotify account to check out if there was something wrong with my main account. I was sliding through options of spotify on my mobile phone and suddenly I misclicked on "link with Facebook", I was like F damm that wasn't the meaning! After that I couldn't unlink my new spotify account with the log in name "[snip-mod edit-email]" (an old hotmail of mine) which I also suddenly noticed afterwards that this new mail isn't [snip-mod edit-email], but [snip-mod edit-email]. So after tons of trying, I noticed how much I screwed It up... I couldn't get on my own email because it is .de and not .com, so in short I entered an invalid email... When I logged in on my Facebook and after chose for log in spotify with Facebook, all my playlists etc were gone. And as name in spotify it said ilnna.. Oh god. So I linked a new account with an existing Facebook social account (in spotify I see for example my FB friends). in the meantime when i was trying to fix this issue by myself, which was with no success, i somehow made a new facebook account with - this time the correct email - "[snip-mod edit-email]", this account automaticly connected to spotify and got me a new spotify account. is it for you guys possible to remove this "[snip-mod edit-email]" called "milma idk" on spotify? I would like to have some kind of system recovery as you can do on your computer.
So now i'll sum it up:
1. Could you guys remove this unused account "[snip-mod edit-email]" From spotify?
2. When i connect to spotify from my original facebook account, i get referred to my new account called "ilnna" with all my playlists removed. When i look my main spotify account up in spotify, i can see it there with my original playlists! but i cant get on it!? So i would like, if it is possible, to have this new email called [snip-mod edit-email] (an invalid email - not possible to log in on it from hotmail.com) which is linked to my facebook account removed and of that to have [snip-mod edit-email] as mainmail for spotify. So i want access to my original account! This is so frustrating to see how I fkn messed it up and to see how dependent you are of the Spotify crew; i see that whatever happens to you from spotify, its not possible to fix it on your own. I hope this is possible for you guys to sort this all out. I will be waiting for a reply from up you guys. Thanks in advance and a happy new year already.
(ps: at account settings changing email from [snip-mod edit-email] to [snip-mod edit-email] says that this email is already in use... And, when I entered spotify with an invalid email, why didn't spotify ask, when I misclicked on "link this spotify account with Facebook" if that email is legit or not... Everyone is a human and making mistakes is normal. I am used to automatically type .com and forgot this email was .de, so that is my own stupid mistake back there, I agree)

Forgot password, not getting emails
i have forgotten my password to my skype account. been trying for 2 hours to recover it and i only have 2 emails. been sending recover codes to both and have received NONE and now it tells me that i've gotten too many and to try again in 24 hours. this is unacceptable i have not even gotten the first one. i realise its my fault for forgetting my password, but the recovery process should be easier than this. im very upset and i want my account back ASAP

When I review reports such as yours, my first thought is to wonder if your account's registered e-mail address is either no longer valid, may have been input with a typographic error unintentionally, or has been changed unbeknown to you. Please contact Skype customer service directly to enquire how you may recover your account.

Skype is aware of lingering problems with the website when contacting their customer service agents. If you experience difficulty reaching Skype Customer Service or find yourself redirected back to the Community, please try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also block reaching an agent.
It may take several attempts to reach an agent, however people are getting through.

Error message tells me to reset password. After resetting password I get confirmation email that new password is set. As soon as I try to access App Store I get error message that password is not valid.
Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

instagram is telling me to change my password and when i go on 'Forgot Password?' then 'reset using facebook' a pop up comes up saying 'We could not find any instagram linked to your facebook account. When I tried to create and apple id using my gmail account i found that somebody has already created an apple id using my gmail id. So I gave forgot password option and reset the password of the id. But for resetting the security questions, link is going to some other email id which is created by the other guy. Now the problem is that the other guy also can reset my password and access my account.
I contacted apple customer care and they are not ready to help me saying that I need to give information about the last device I logged in using this id. How can I give it when I did not create it?:) Also they are saying this account has been verified and that could happen only if someone has hacked my gmail account and verified the id using the link sent by apple.
Later I did some experiments and found that this is a security flaw from apple. Somebody has created the id and never used it(I tried to loggin to icloud and it was saying this account was not used it any apple device). The account became verified when I reset the password.(This is a bug, account should be verified only when we click on the verification link sent by apple).
The other mistake apple did is that they allotted my gmail account to someone before it's verified eventhough it cannot be used unless verified. Actually apple should allot the account id only after verifying the email address.
Apple customer care is not ready to help and I am tired of fighting with them. Can any of you guys suggest any means of getting back my gmail id to use it as apple id?I don't think you're going to be able to. I would guess the other person used your address by accident, and when he found he couldn't access the account (because you'd changed the password) he abandoned it. Your GMail address is now locked to that account and even if it was changed you can't use it to create another.
You already have an Apple ID, which you use to log in here; you can use that to create an iCloud account if that's what you are trying to do. If you want to create a different Apple ID just get another free address such as a Yahoo one. -

Apple does not have email support. If you're not getting the email verification from Apple, check your anti-spam filters, on your computer and with your email provider, to make sure that emails from Apple aren't being blocked. You can also try the Security Questions option rather than the email authentication. See:

I can not get my email to send through my iPad email. The email works for all other options. The error says I need to enter a password in setting, but I have entered the password numerous times to no avail. Any ideas?

I am not getting the email required to verify my password
I changed my apple ID password and it then asked me to verify account by email but I'm not getting the email to do so.
Check the following:

2. Junk folder

If you are not getting the email, you can contact Apple Support to have your Security Questions reset:
ACCOUNT SECURITY CONTACT NUMBERS
Once you get them reset, check your Rescue Email address on Manage Your Apple ID to make sure it is still a functional address. It is not the same as your primary or alternate address.
