FORGOT PASSWORD && SLEEP BUTTON DOESNT WORK

so my ipod touch doesnt have a camera its probably one of the older ones... but its locked cuz i forgot my passcode :/ and the home/ sleep button doesnt work :/ is there anything i can do or am i out of luckk ? :'{

Use RecBoot (http://jaxov.com/2010/11/download-recboot-1-3-for-windows-mac-os-x-linux/) for put your iPod Touch in recovery mode and then restore it with iTunes.
I used it with Ubuntu Linux, it helped me. Good luck.

My sleep button doesnt work so i tried to restore when i was restoring it was the apple with the loading circle it just stop and it dosent move from 1 day ago an i cant restore with sleep an home button cause it dont work!!!! When i connect it to itunes it dosent apper even if i press the home button. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

Well have you tried connected to iTunes?? If that doesn't work call your local Apple Store and make an appointment at The Genius bar and they can either fix it or replace it but it will cost you money.

Is there warranty for when the sleep button doesnt work anymore?

My iphone 5 sleep button doesnt work properly. Need help where can i get it fixed

I bought my i5 in january from croma, delhi and last 5-6 days i am noticing that my sleep button is not working properly on the right side. I searched for solution on the net but all i got to know that this is a problem in iphone 5 and need to be replaced. And i have no idea how to get it fixed or where to contact to get it replaced. Need urgent help.

Apple can fix it without your receipt or box. They pull the serial number from the device and determine warranty status from that. Hopefully ApplCare was registered to the product before you lost the receipt though. If not, you can go back to the point of purchase and obtain your AppleCare receipt and Apple can help attach it to the iPhone.

IPhone 5 sleep/wakes button doesnt work, can I replace it?

Hi everyone.
I have an iPhone 5 16gb purchased in US in March 2013, now I see that sleep/wake button doesnt work. Searched on web and found out that is an hardware issue, and booked a meeting to Apple store. I think they will replace it, but the problem which may me doubt is that the iphone is bought in US from my friend, and now I live in Netherlands.
On Monday i will go in Apple store but not sure what will happen, ideas?
