You need to restore the phone in iTunes as new, without using a backup.

What to do if forgot restrictions password
what to do if forgot restrictions password, not the main unlock password but the 4 diget password for the restrictions
You will have to restore the iPhone using a backup file from before the restriction codes were added. A simple reset does not remove restriction codes.

I forgot my password iphone 5 What I am doing, please help
Either force the phone into recovery mode, as described here:

Or, login to iCloud.com, on your computer, locate the phone, then erase it.
Either will remove the passcode. -
Forgot restrictions passcode iphone 5c
forgot restrictions passcode iphone 5c neep help
You will need to try to restore your iPhone (preferably from the same computer that you most recently synced to).
Read this: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
If you can't do the restore then you will need to try Recovery Mode.

Follow the instructions very carefully. -
HT4113 I restriction settings is turned on and I forgot the password iPhone 5
Restriction studies is turned on and I forgot my password on my iPhone 5
Do you have a backup from before the passcode was set?
If so restore from it, if not you will need to restore as a new device as the passcode will be included in the backup.
You can try this:

I can not vouch for it as I have not tried it. -
i got my iphone back from repair and i was going to restore the pictures from the icloud backup so i have to reset But i forgot my restriction password and have tried 8 failed pass code attempt then i found another way But when i connect it to my computer (i also backed it up here) it says "this accessory may not be supported" then it says on my computer "itunes has stopped working" I'm really scared please help me is there another way?
If you can't remember the restrictions passcode, the ONLY way to remove it is to restore your phone as a "new" device in iTunes. That will erase all data on the phone, including the restrictions passcode. If you try to restore from backup, you'll merely continue to restore it, as the restrictions passcode is included in the iPhone backup.

I forgot my restrictions password. What will change if I have
to restore the factory settings?Restoring to factory settings, does just that... your iPhone will be like it was when new and not activated, i.e. everything will be wiped off the phone.

Forgot restriction password on iPad mini
Unfortunately I have forgot the restriction password on my kind's iPad mini. I have found discussions explaining that I need to reset the device to default factory to solve the issue and reset the pwd.
My kinds have photo and games. I would like to know if the following series might work to recover apps and photos:
1) backup all contents on iCloud
2) reset the device to default factory
3) restore the backup via iCloud
Will it work? Or will action 3) recover the old forgotten pwd?
Is there a way to reset the device (including the restriction pwd) and THEN restore photos and apps?
Thanks! GiusecRestoring from the backup that was made while the Restriction Code was in place will restore the Restriction Code.
You'll have to copy all data and files to your computer or iCloud, then restore, then copy all files and data back after you copy back all the apps. -

HT4137 iPad forgot restrictions password
I was rushed and entered a restrictions password on my IPad. Now it will not allow me to change it. I wrote it down, but it does not work. Is there any way to reset it. I have the other password and connected email account. There is no ITunes, there is an Icloul backup. Help! Is there any way to recover this thing without losing all my paid apps??? Thanks!
If you have upgraded your iPad to iOS 7 .3 and you want to restore your iPad 2 to factory settings and re install iOS 7 and if you did not back up your previous iOS and you set restrictions with a different key from your log in 4 number key you will be prompted to unlock restrictions to dis able Find my iPad ! I then realised that I had for got my restrictions password so I went to reset all completely wipe from factory settings I can not open Restrictions so you can not do this on Itunes in OS X 10.9 Mavericks iTunes. so he will not be allowed to reset all.
I could be wrong ,lets find out I found when I installed Mavericks and the new iPhoto I got duplicates so I thought I would restore the iPad, it is a good idea when a new iOS comes along is to restore every thing is on the cloud so you just re down load ,He mihgt have hidden the Apps but you can still get them if you search for purchased. -

How do you elimanate the restriction Passcode on a IPhone 4 as I forgot the password?
How do you eliminate the "Restriction Passcode" on a IPhone 4 as I forgot the password?
I have done a backup and I have done a Restore and I still have the Restriction Passcode On.
My main objective is to wipe out this phone to manufactures specifications.I had the same problem with my iPhone 5C. After trying several YouTube solutions involving CopyBot, which did not work, I finally figured out how to get rid of the restrictions passcode.
1. Back up your phone to icloud. You will want to be sure you have synced your phone to your laptop as well to access your contacts and photos again.
2. Make sure you have "Find my Phone" activated on your phone.
3. On a laptop or other device, go to www.icloud.com/#find.
4. Login and after the site finds your phone's location, click on the "All Devices" arrow and select your phone.
5. Select Erase iphone. You will see it erasing on your phone. Don't panic!
6. When your phone restarts, it will take you through the setup process. YOU WANT TO SET IT UP AS A NEW PHONE! If you restore a backup you will still have the passcode in play.
7. During the set up, your phone should automatically restore your contacts; however, you may need to upload your photos and music manually.
8. The restrictions passcode will no longer be on your phone! You will need to download your purchased apps again. This is a bummer, but at least you got past the restrictions passcode.
I know this worked for the 5c, I can only assume it will work for all versions of the iphone, but I am not an expert. -
I have an iPhone 4 and I forgot the restrictions password.
On my iPhone 4 I can't remember the restrictions password but I want Safari back. I tried restoring the whole phone, but after re-downloading ios 6.1.3it said I couldn't restore it. So I want to know if updating to ios7 will allow me to reset the restrictions password or to turn restrictions off again, or if there's any way to restore the phone (I've done it with my iPod touch without a problem, but I'm not sure why it wouldn't let me do it with the iPhone).
Thanks!Normally you have to perform a reset as a new device, losing all data when forgetting the restrictions passcode. However this might give you some ideas:

Does anyone know how to get Apple Mail in Leopard to have the 2 pane view as opposed to the default 3? In Tiger I had it, but I can't remember. Before Leopard all my information was in vertical columns I much prefer that view...thanks!
