Forgotten password on old icloud account
I have no clue what my password is for an old iCloud account. I've tried deleting the account but need to enter the password to sign out of "find my iPhone". When going to the old email account it is no longer active. Any one ??
Try going to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address (even if it is no longer active) and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

The iTunes account I have on my iPhone is an old account with a password no one can seem to remember, so I finally decided to create a new account on my computer. I can download things just fine with my new account on my computer. I synced my iPhone with my computer thinking it would recognize my new account, but it's still asking me for my old account's password, which I don't remember. I can't ask it to send me my forgotten password because I don't have that email account any more (which is my user id on my iPhone). Any suggestions?

I would recommend sticking with one account and not using a new account.

How can i delete an old icloud account for which I do not have the password
I changed my iCloud and iTunes account on my MAC AIR to a new ID (successfully). The iTunes account on my iPad Air was also updated, but I can't change or get rid of the old iCloud account on my iPad and I don't know what the old password is for the old account. How can this account be deleted off my iPad, please help!
If your device is signed into an old iCloud ID that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Help!!! I've lost all of my contacts and information after the ios7 update. After the update I plugged my phone into my MacBook and it reverted back to my old icloud account. I checked my MacBook and everything on there is connected to my new icloud account. I'm not sure why this has happened, but I have been trying for two days to get my new icloud account back. My phone won't allowe to log out of the icloud account it is logged into because I don't know the password. Simple solution, reset the password. Not so simple. I don't have the email address associated with the account anymore. So I attempted the security question option. When I entered my birthdate, it said that it was incorrect. I have tried multiple times and nothing will work. Can someone please help me??
If you don't know your password, don't know your security questions and don't have a rescue address or don't receive a reset email, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support. -
Hi. I tried to change my old icloud account on a new one. After reset the settings I need to enter my old Apple ID account and password, that I don't remember.
I do not remember it because when I bought the my iPhone 4s in 2011 I didn't understand how it works and asked a representative to set it up for me. The representative helped me and gave a piece of paper with login and password but I lost it a long time ago.
Before resetting the settings I turned off "Find my iPhone" function, but it anyway asks me to enter my old Apple ID and password. I have the original box, documents, receipt. So how can I solve this problem?You do not have to call US, but you need to call. Or else.

I was hacked awhile back and had to change to a new email. i was able to change my itunes account over but my icloud did not come over to the new account.

Settings > iTunes and App Store > tap on the Apple ID > Sign Out > then sign in with the correct Apple ID.
Not that all apps purchased or downloaded with the old Apple ID will require the old ID and password in order to be updated. To avoid this delete all apps associated with the old ID and download them again with the new ID. Be aware that you will most likely lose data associated with deleted apps and you will have to pay again for any apps that have a fee. -

As posted earlier, you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and clicking on the Find your Apple ID on the bottom right. If you are able to find the ID, you can then reset the password here:https://iforgot.apple.com/, allowing you to access your iCloud account again.

Hi Gail it is a separate apple id used on my old iphone. I now have a new appleid and password which is functioning though the new phone is bringing up my old apple ID
