How do i retrieve my phone lock code on a LG Extravert? i forgot it and i dont know how to get it back D: i tried entering the last 4 digits of my number but its not it... please help! thank you!

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
iPad,iPod,iPod Touch Recovery Mode
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

if it is not the default lock code of 12345, then you will need to visit your local Nokia Care point with receipt/proof of ownership for them to reset the code for you.

Forgotten phone locks

I've forgotten my two phone locks: n70 and 2330c-2
I've tried the hard format-"*","call button","3"
but it's not working-it does format it but then default lock code-12345 doesn't not work!
And I don't know how to do the soft reset I mean when to do it... its kind frustrating please help because my new phones depend on these old ones!

Bit puzzled by statement "my new phones depend on these old ones" after you deleted data upon N70 by hard reset!
You would need to take device(s) to Nokia Care Point with proof of purchase for lock code to be reset to Nokia default of 12345.

I got updation for my E7 to symbian anna. when i am trying to activate phone lock, it asking password and i tried 12345. But the phone shows incorrect password. It is the first time i am trying to enable this option. pls share other lock codes.

You may have changed your lock code , if you can't remember it then you'll need take it to your local Nokia care point. Please bare in mind that you will need back up your files first as any activities performed by a care point will potentially delete all your data.
I should stress that there could be an additional charge for the service.

Forgotten PIN/lock codes

Hello.
Is there any way of bypassing security codes?
The software and some files on my 5220 seem to have corrupted. I was advised by customer support to do a soft reset but I can't do that as I have forgotten my security codes (12345 does not work.)
Also, I am unable to reinstall the software. Each time I try, it fails.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only way is to get the Security Code reset to 12345 at Nokia care. You may also need to carry the proof of ownership (Bill / Invoice)... You tend to lose your data in absense of a Backup...

As simple as it sounds, I forgot the code to my screen lock, and I'd like to be able to use this feature, but I cannot create a new code until I submit the old (forgotten) one.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.

Unfortunately if you can't remember it you may need to format the phone ! However if the pass key is for the sim, you may be able to contact your service provider, as a reset will not clear a sim passkey.
How to Format Nokia N72, N73, N81, N95, NSeries Mobile Phones.
Method 1: Three Finger Reset for Nokia Phone
1. Switch off your Nokia phone.
2. Hold down the following three keys, Green (call answer button) * Key, and Number ‘3? key.
3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
4. Wait for message ‘Formatting’ to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.
Method 2: Hard Format of Nokia Mobile Phone
1. Switch off your Nokia phone
2. Now Press following key sequence *#7370#
3. Enter Default lock code is 12345.
4. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
5. Wait for message ‘Formatting’ to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.
Method 3: Soft Reset of Nokia Mobile Phone
1. Switch off your Nokia phone
2. Now Press following key sequence *#7780#
3. Enter Default lock code is 12345.
4. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
5. Wait for message ‘Formatting’ to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.
Please Note: The Above Nokia Phone Formatting method will erase all your Phone data. Sodo backup before proceeding for Formatting
