Forgotten User logon Password - How to remvove it from Equium L300-146?

Please help.
I bought my daughter a Toshiba Notebook for her birthday, she put a password on it which she has now forgotten - would I just need to purchase the recover disk that costs 29?

Hmm do you know the Admin password?
If not, then a probably only new OS installation could allow you to boot the Vista.

Try also this:
- Turn on your computer and press F8 key.
- You will get the screen called "Windows advanced options menu
- There choose "safe mode" and hit enter
- Your notebook will boot into the safe mode
- Then click start -> All programs -> right click on the command and click the option run as administrator.
- Then type the command "net users Administrator /active" and hit enter
- Now you will get a command that "command succeeded"
- Then boot again into the Safe Mode and change or delete the password for the user account

You can't reset a passcode. you have to restore the device and you want to sync to the computer that you always sync with if you want to restore all of the data and setting. If that computer is unavailable - you can use another computer - but you will have to erase the iPad completely and will not be able to recover your data.

My Yahoo email account worked just fine on my iPhone 4S for the last 2 months. Then this morning I started receiving the apple.imap.mail,yahoo error. I tried all of the steps above in solving the yahoo email issue including numerous hard re-sets and deletions of my yahoo account settings without any success. So I gave up trying to use the default Yahoo setup option. I added my Yahoo account back as an "other" type email account and then had the option to choose to set it up as a "POP" account instead of an IMAP type. I then just used the server settings recommended from Yahoo Help for a Yahoo Plus Email POP (or just google yahoo plus email pop settings). This works and I am back in business.
I'm not sure if this will work for yahoo mail classic accounts.
Frustrating that this issue seems to have been going on for quite awhile and Apple still as not made any acknowledgement of this issue or proposed a fix for those of us that can not resolve the issue with a reset.

I think this will be a really simple post for someone.
I downloaded oracle and installed it on my pc about 4 months ago for uni - We are now revisiting the suject.
I booted up forms designer and then wanted to run an sql script - however I cant even remember what my username or password is for connection - How can i retrive this - are there any standard ones?

Ok, you have lost your Username and password.
You can enter a sqlplus session with sysdba privileges and reset the password.
1. Connect as sysdba from the command line:
sqlplus / as sysdba
2. Once you are in a sqlplus prompt issue the reset command:
SQL> alter user scott identified by tiger account unlock;
It all depends on which user you are unlocking. If you created a default database, then you have several other demo accounts which remain locked, HR, SH, OE, PM.
If you require a new account, then you must create a new user. Look for the CREATE USER command to accomplish this task.

I am trying to reset the password of a user from java.
So I have to open a socket connection to Unix box and send a packet in following format
"<adminUserid> <adminPassword> PASSWORD <target-userId> <new-passwd>\n"
So they say that user credentials are to be send in cleartext
Please tell me how i can send above string as cleartext

I have forgotten my logon password and stupid me did not make a hint and now I can not access my macbook air. I went and tried other ways command r and still since i am new to mac never made a back up again stupid me. I then tried to re install the OS and it tell me that it does not see the start up OS system.
I need my mac since this is the only form of entertainment on my ship in which i work on and am leaving this week. PLEASE someone help me.....

There are different ways to reset the password depending on the Mac OS X version you are running. You can check it in  > About this Mac.

If you are having issues emailing photos directly from iPhoto, you may want to double check the email account information that is set in iPhoto. You may find the following article helpful (the section below is about setting up a new account, but it should be the same location to check existing account info):
To set up a Photo Mail account:
