Hi,
Yes, that's part of the way to do it.
After uploading the binary file (.FMB) which is platform independent, you have to generate the (.FMX) in Linux, as the .FMX are platform specific.

If you purchased it from the Adobe Store on the web then you need to contact Adobe.  If you purchased it from another party on the web then you need to contact that third party vendor.

Yes, we are now working on Win64, Linux64 as well as other platforms. I anticipate having support in about 2 -3 month timeframe

  • Spatial Patchset 1 for Win NT for 8.1.7.3 (ID:1517851 Patchset::2228622)

I applied the patchset 2228622 and I've got the next error when I try to startup the database:
ORA-00439 feature not enabled: Parallel server.

    Hi,
usually I expect people to do a little research and I do not give everything chewed.
    Point 4:
    go to the
    <b>Oracle9i Database Migration Release 2 (9.2)</b>
    go to the chapter 3
    <b>Upgrading a Database to the New Oracle9i Release</b>
    go to the point:
    <b>Upgrade the Database Manually</b>
    Exactly from here:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96530/upgrade.htm#1009200
    Keep in mind
    1) that the <i>EXACT </i>procedure you are following it is not indicated in this manual
    2) you have to think a little ( do you have all the windows services created on the destination system? if not, you have to create them ... )
    3) this procedure is not supported by SAP. It is a valid option but not supported by them. You have to practice until you get all the points correctly

    Hi,
I am to order StarOffice 8 Enterprise Media Kit with Part# "STR99-8AC99MM" (Ordering Licenses Separately).
Please confirm if the same Media Kit can be used to install StarOffice in Windows and Linux.

    Hi Aleem,
the Media Kit -like other software- comes for different systems,
so you must specify in your order for win or linux !!

  • Can I download Forms 6 or 6i for Win.98?

Does anyone know where I might find either Forms 6 or Foms 6i for Widnows 98 to download? I can't see them anywhere in the OTN.
I've downloaded Oracle 8i Personal Edition for Windows 98 (but not unzipped it yet), but what's the good of that without Developer tools?

  • Hardware specs for a 9iAS application

    Hi,
Where can we get some documents regarding the hardware details needed for the
    9iAS.
Suppose the scenario is like this:-
we have our 9iAS on an NT server, a maximum concurrent usage of the the deployed forms is predicted to be between 250 and 300, there are more than 100 different reports provided, the maximum records(on a 8iDS on different server) that it has
to handle is more than 8 - 10 lacs....
Would the specification below be sufficient for the 9iAS server:
64 bit RISC PROCESSOR 800 MHz or Intel Pentium III or more,
Main Memory 1GB RAM expandable to 2 GB or more,
Hard disk - 18 GB or more,
    100Mbps Ethernet interface
    Networking specs???
We saw many features about Oracle's partnership with Compaq, regarding database servers and RAC. Can we recommend
such Oracle partner's to our clients. Is there other DETAILED documents available in Compaq's or some other sites(Oracle partners), regarding
    deployment of Oracle applications.
    Thank you,
    Ranjith.

This should help you evaluate your middle tier needs.

  • Trex version under NW 7.01 SP 5 for win 32 bit computer

    Hi,
Our EP system is SAP NW 7.01 SP3. I am going to upgrade it to SP5. When selecting the components in SP5 stack its asking to select the components for Trex. Under Trex NW 7.01 there are only two option:
    1. Linux on x86_64 64bit
    2. Windows Server on x64 64bit
Our system is running on win 32 bit, but there is no option for win 32 bit under Trex components.
Any suggestion whether I shld select Win 64 components.
Our current level of Trex is SAP NW 7.01 SP3.
    Regards
    Deb

    OK.
But be sure there exists only TREX versions like
    TREX 7.0
    and
    TREX 7.10
and there doesn't exits SP for TREX there exists Revisions....
But anyway TREX 7.10 is a 64bit software that's why the operation system must as well be 64bit.
TREX 7.0 is a 32 bit software so that's why your operation system could be 32 bit.
You should install in windows 32 bit TREX 7.0.
Or upgrade your Windows to 64 bit and install TREX 7.10
    Best regards

  • Thx for wine 0.9.60. Code freeze in effect, on towards wine 1.0!

    0.9.61 source code is ready.
    http://www.winehq.org/

Yes, thanks for the Wine update. I find that this version of Wine does fix a couple of significant problems which I had been experiencing with version 0.9.58. Wine has evolved rapidly, and there can be real value in keeping it up to date.
I know that some people don't see the importance of Wine, but for folks like myself, who have no choice but to use Windows at work, Wine is a godsend for accessing work data at home on my Linux systems. Also, I've managed to encourage quite a few Windows users to experiment with Linux because of Wine - call it a comforter if you will, but it's a vital package to bridge the gap.

  • Music Server Can't See External Drive Formatted for WIN with Disk Utility.

Is there any reason an external drive formatted for WIN (MS-DOS(FAT)/FAT32 or NTFS w/ NTFS-3G/MacFUSE) with Disk Utility would not work for intended purpose? I have a music server (Bryston BDP-1) that uses an attached USB drive for storage/playback of music and can only read FAT32 or NTFS formatted drives. I've tried both and neither is readable by the BDP-1, yet I have no problem reading/writing to the supplied 2GB Thumb Drive (FAT32), as well as another 2GB Thumb Drive (FAT32). Get Info shows; "FAT32" for all drives formatted as such.
Note: From what I'm told the BDP-1 uses a scaled down version of Linux for it's OS. Isn't that UNIX? Shouldn't it be compatible (Read/Write) with other platforms (i.e, Mac)? Bryston says the reason they use it because it's Open-Source. Does Linux only work FAT32 or NTFS?
I do have Fusion/XP, also access to WIN PC's, but I just hate to use it when I shouldn't have to. It makes no sense why the drive can't be read by the BDP-1 when formatted for WIN under OS X.
And there was one other issue, after the third try to format fro WIN the external drive suddenly began making faint clicking sounds instead of a spinning drive sound only when plugged into BDP-1 USB port. But it works fine when connected to iMac FW.
    HW Specs:
    Drive: G-Drive Mobile USB/FW 750GB

    Exchanged drive. Works now.

  • PCMCIA-GPIB for win 2000 running on cPCI bus via a cPCI PC Card Adapter

We are trying to use a PCMCIA-GPIB for win 2000 running on cPCI bus via a cPCI PC Card Adapter. Our OS is WIN2K SP3 and we are running version 1.7 (latest) of the drivers. Unfortunately when using the "getting started" wizard and the "verify software and hardware installation" the system occasionally doesn't pass the third test. When it does, we try to scan for instruments using MAX Explorer to talk to a Agilent CW generator via GPIB but it cannot find the instrument. Doing the same thing on a laptop PC is successfully achieved. Any information on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
Although it should be transparent to the PCMCIA card, I have also have had some problems with some adapters. Specifically, I have been able to install the card in a PCI-PCMCIA adapter form Qualtech, but not if I'm using a cPCI Cirrus Logig adapter. We haven't been able to find a cause for this.
If you need a GPIB interface in a cPCI system, you might consider the PXI-GPIB. PXI fully compliant with the cPCI standard.

  • Satelitte A110-180 - Update Bios for Windows 7 and Linux

    Hello,
I want to change the following settings in my bios on my laptop Satelitte A110-180
    * AHCI for SATA
    * Disable IDE
But there are no such options.
So I thought maybe I have to update my bios.
I found the download page, but there are 2 options: Windows Vista or NOT Windows vista, but I want to dual boot windows 7 and linux.
Wich one I have to download, or is there an other option to change the settings?
    Thank you!
    Bart

    Hi
Satellite A110 does not support such options (SATA AHCI).
The BIOS update will not help you!
Linux is not supported and therefore you will not find any special BIOS for Linux OS!
The both BIOS updates are for Win Vista or OS independent.
Therefore if you are using OS other as Vista then you should take the OS independent BIOS update!
But like mentioned above; both options will not appear after BIOS update!

  • Sattellite A40: Driver for Suse 9.0 Linux

Hi, .... new here, ..... I installed suse9.0 about 8 months ago, I like it, but I would like to start loading proper drivers for the hardware, the defaults allowed it to work adquetly .... linux has me confussed on a fair amount of terminology, .... could someone direct me as where to find drivers for my laptop.
    thanks for your help

    Hello
Unfortunately, on the Toshiba driver download page you can find only drivers for Microsoft Windows OS.
    There are no Linux drivers.
All Toshiba notebooks use only the Windows operating systems. In this case the drivers are designed only for WIN OS.
