I have that implement form Adobe Form for updating the HCM infotype 0015 for the employee in the ESS.
The employee could request verification employee letter in the ESS.
I wonder if you can help me, indicating what have that do?

Latest Adobe Reader Update Information

In attempting to update the latest reader version, the adobe server wont let me view the update details. the link for details on the update page takes me to Adobe server then asks for member information. Then when i put in my ID as a free subscriber to adobe reader, a screen tells me it can not connect to the adobe server to view the details of this latest update. Where can i view the update details before I download it? Thanks for anyones input with this.

When I click on the adobe reader icon it takes me to a box for update, then there is a details link. This then asks me for my password to access the adobe server. My password doesnt work and the menu says I cant share this info. So I dont know what is going on.
I am using a Macbook Pro with OS X Yosemite version 10.10.1 and Safari 8.0

Autonomous transaction - user updating information through form

Good afternoon,
I have a form that has a database datablock that is populated using a cursor that does a select on 4 tables, being one the most important (table A). When the user is done he commits the changes and the information is saved in table B, the "source" of the datablock.
This generates a concurrency problem: if two users give the same parameters the cursor populates the same information in their respective sessions and the information is saved twice. I want to prevent this, only one person should be allowed to use the information.
I know about autonomous transactions and perhaps this is the best idea: update the status of the row in table A in order to prevent any further uses but i want to check any other solution. Perhaps i could write the user and the time and the second person would get a message: "being used by"

Ok here's the situation:
Table B

step 1: user opens form X and marks some records from table B, setting selected to Y
step 2: User open forms Y and populates block Z (table A) based on a cursor (PL/sql run through a push button) that looks for all the records from B that have selected = Y
step 3: user commits and the form updates table A with new records
this is the normal procedure but sometimes two users open form Y at almost the same time and the both populate the datablock Z with the same info.
I have thought about creating a new hidden datablock in form Y that uses table B, in order to block other users.
and these forms have been like this for years now, i did not create them and the tables have millions of records now...
This was a design flaw, not taking concurrency into account i guess

Saving fillable forms with information

Adobe Reader on a remote computer is not allowing me to save a form with information. Any workarounds? Please be very basic.

I have Acrobat Pro XI - if you were referring to the version of Reader I can update to the latest version (I believe also XI?).
Only I would be using this form - but on a large number of computers. I would likely always have on a network drive and save onto that same network drive.

Form Update Issue in Dreamweaver

Hi there, I have created an update form using Dreamweaver and
an Access database.
When you load the update form. Some of the text fields are
empty.
If you do not enter something in one of these fields and hit
the update button. You get the following error.

I just realised that the cell property in the Access database
was set as a 'numeric' file and also the "Allow Zero Length"
property was set to "No". With that the form update recordset in
Dreamweaver was also set to numeric. I have changed them both to
'text' and it seems to be working fine. Now that this is working,
we get the following error message.

Trigger only one process task on Process form update

Hello,
I'd like to trigger a single process task (a single time) when one or several attributes are updated in a process form.
any idea how to do that?
what I don't want to do :)
- call the same process task on "firstname update" AND on "lastname update" => this process task would be launched twice on a single process form update/save

Create a task with the form name like such:
UD_ADUSRLX Updated
This task will trigger any time a value(s) are updated on the form. You will get only a single task, and not individual. But if you add this task, you don't get the option of the other tasks triggering individually.

I upload some .folios with ID CS 5.5.
Until yesterday, the Adobe Viewer find new files.
Today, the Adobe Viewer do not find my new uploaded files. I see only the "old" version at the Adobe Viewer (iPad 2).
What can I do - that I get the latest versions of my .folios?

Adobe Acrobat Updater frozen

Hi,
I've had a look through the forum and can't seem to find anything on this problem. Adobe Acrobat Updater was updating acrobat up to 9.3.2, it was in the installation phase then about half way through it's stopped dead. The window is still there, the blue loading bar is stil pulsating and I can move it about so it hasn't totally crashed, but I can't click on the cancel button. Can't force quit out of it either.
Also there's another window 'Repair Setup' telling me "Acrobat has detected that there are missing components that require repair. Select the optional components you would like to repair..."etc Adobe PDFViewer Safari Plugin is automatically checked. This window is totally frozen, can't even move it.
On top of this Updater is cancelling out any Shutdown attempts.
My OS is 10.6.3 and I'm on an iMac.
Any help is sorely needed, I have no idea how to get round this.

Edit: Another bit of info, I had acrobat open a few times during, due to work demands, I don't know if this would have effected the installation process at all.

We're aware of this bug.
it's casued if the pdfviewer plugin for safari is missing, the repair dialog wants to know if it should put it back or not.
In order to update to 9.3.2, before checking for updates, go to Acrobat preferences>Internet> display pdf in browser using: and select the version of Acrobat/reader ou want to update.
For good measure also run the self repair form the help menu, in Acrobat go to help> repair acrobat.
when that's done, go to help>check for update to update.

Update to 3.6.6 clashed with adobe flash update

crash and notification that there are restored pages to be tried in restart of firefox. dialog screen that advises adobe DLM needs to be updated. I removed EVERYTHING adobe from the system, flashes, updater, before I found that there was a cryptic directory in C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\415ltrzs.default\extensions\ containing some adobe garbage. I removed all of that junk too. Now 3.6.6 opens OK. I followed update process for flash as listed on support page(s). Flash seems to work. I'm going to rename the sessionstore.js to the former file to see if I can get the sessions going again after 4 hours of wriggling on this hook. I just thought someone else whould know there could be difficulty with doing a firefox version update at the same time as a session recovery and perhaps an adobe flash update.

I've 2 problems. I wanted to install Lightroom CC. On my desktop, the update of Adobe CC itself fails. On my laptop, Adobe CC updates, Lightroom CC installs, but Lightroom CC doesn't start. It flickers very briefly in Task Manager, but is gone immediately

After several restarts the Adobe CC update worked on the desktop. Doing the LR CC install on the desktop now.

Of the three onward links from that page -
(1) "For additional information please see Creative Cloud Help | Missing CC apps from my Creative Cloud Desktop app" is a dead link (>"Sorry, this page is not available")
(2) "If you have confirmed that your computer meets and exceeds all of the listed System requirements then please see CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed." I had already worked through the 'solutions' on that page, culminating in the (bad) advice in 'Solution 4' which is what has got me into this current mess;
(3) "If you have already have Download Adobe Creative Cloud application you can use Download Center : Adobe Creative Cloud for your Product Download." isn't helpful as the download links send me back to the CC Desktop app, & it still won't allow me to download the 'CC' or 'CC (2014)' applications.

Help with Adobe Reader update installation on mac book pro

am trying to update adobe reader 9.4.6 to the latest version on my mac book pro. Am able to download the updtae to 10. whatever and proceed with installation. At the step where I am asked to choose the adobe reader file, I select the file and then the process stops and I get a message that installation has failed and i am to contact the software manufacturer.

I go to updater and it says that it is up-to-date, even though I have uninstalled it. When I try to reinstall, the download button is available, I click it, which takes me to the updater screen, and informs me that it is up to date, even though it is not in my application folder. I have ben able to download Lightroom with success, but not Photoshop and other previously downloaded apps.

I get an error 1303 when I try to install Adobe reader update.

I have tried three times ti download and install the Adobe Reader Update. It gets to 97% installed and then I get error 1303. I checked the troubleshooter but it hasn't got solutions for Windows 7 Home 64 bit O/S's. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Without the information in the error message I am unable to help you.
One question: did you run the installer as an Administrator user?
