Form appears whacky in Safari

In Firefox and IE the site looks good, but when viewed in Safari the form at the top right with the username and password boxes appears off kilter, how can I fix? Is it an easy fix?

On my PC they look identical in IE, FireFox, Safari, but in Google Chrome I see what you are describing. Looking at it in FireFox with the web developer's plug in I can view the table and block level outlines... I'll be it has something to do with the div around the email field and your table cell widths. You'll need to play around with these.

Unicode normalisation form C and Apple Safari

Technically, the World Wide Web Consortium specifies normalisation form C. This suggests that Apple Safari 3.2.1 should not establish equivalences (aliases, synonyms) to other coded characters if a coded character has no specified equivalences as per normalisation form C. Nonetheless, Apple Safari 3.2.1 does seem to establish equivalences.
Anyone have any thoughts?

According to Asmus Freytag, the character LATIN SMALL LETTER LONG S was encoded because it involves a semantic distinction as opposed to a stylistic distinction in that writing system
It does have a compatibilty decomposition to "s" , however.

It seems true that Edit > Find uses a less restrictive matching system, but it's not clear to me that doing that is contrary to the standards in some way.
It's not just Safari but all apps where you can find ſ by looking for s, right?
and the Related Characters pane in the Character Palette should not show that LATIN SMALL LETTER S and LATIN SMALL LETTER LONG S are unconditional synonyms. Rather, they are conditional synonyms.
I'm somewhat mystified as to exactly what the Related Charcters pane is supposed to show, other than characters that look similar. I wonder how Apple chooses them? In any case I would hope the compatiblity decomposition of a character would appear there.
It seems to me that search services can compete by seeming to be more successful, and to seem more successful search services can establish equivalences which are broader than the equivalences that an author is entitled to expect based on specifications and standards.
I think the w3c standards about this are mainly related to the form a text should have on the web, rather than what results search services should return (unless the services perhaps specify they are doing a "string identity match").

Adds appear everywhere on SAFARI

Hello everyone !
I'm french so i try my best explaining my problem
About two or three days ago, adds started to appear everywhere on Safari. Not as pop ups but as if they were actually part of the page i'm reading.
Here are screenshots of my problems :
as you can see it can take many forms :
1. The little windows at the right bottom of the page "coupons"
2. The green link on the middle "les informations" is not a real link. When i point on the text the windows you see "avec media player totale" appears. I've got these fake links with adds everywhere !!!! Mostly there from "info.com" which, when i search the internet, is said to be a spyware ?
I have adblock running but still there are windows appearing from nowhere...
Very recently i have installed avast but it had not solve anything.
It's getting worse please help me

1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem.
2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
7. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
8. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "syntax error," enter
exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
9. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, press the key combination control-C or just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
10. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, there will be nothing in the Terminal window and no indication of progress. Wait for the line
[Process completed]
to appear. If you don't see it within half an hour or so, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, close the Terminal window and report the results. No harm will be done.
11. When the test is complete, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
12. When you post the results, you might see the message, "You have included content in your post that is not permitted." It means that the forum software has misidentified something in the post as a violation of the rules. If that happens, please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.

For a variety of reasons, mostly related to security, the iOS operating system limits what can be done with respect to file uploading and downloading. But whenever you encounter a limitation like this always think, "There must be an app for this."

Flash mask appears correct in Safari but not IE?

Hi,
This is weird because I cannot see how a browser can have any affect on a SWF file animation. This SWF contains masking of images. The SWF appears perfectly in Safari, and for some strange reason, one of the three masks is not applied when viewing the SWF in IE (as if the image is 'released').
Any ideas as to why this might be or what I can do to stop this from occurring?

i have a problem with language in my forms , all my words on my forms appears question marks like ??????????
i`m using developer 10g suit(higher release) , OracleXEUniv database engine , windows XP as OS.
words on forms written by Arabic ,
i change all NLS_Lang registry files for oracle into ARABIC_EGYPT.AR8MSWIN1256
and change regional and language options >advanced tap > Arabic(Egypt), and mark all Arabic choices and transfer all files needed from windows CD.
and recompile forms,the problem still there,
please replay for answers , how can i fix it?

Making parameter form appears

i have a problem regarding showing parameter form that made by report developer when i call the report from my form
first i use winXP sp3, database 10g ,developer suite 10g
the problem is as follow:
the report run perfectly from report builder and the parameter form appears but when i call the report from the form the report appears without parameter form screen and this make report empty

Forms 10g Migration : Menu attached to form appears on MDI Window.

Hi All ,
On migration of forms 5/6i into forms 10g observed that the Menu Module attached to a form appears on MDI window and not attached to the main window of the form.
How do we ensure that the Menu and the Horizontal toolbar attached to the form appear on the main window of the form and not on the MDI Window ?

I want to control my form appearance foreground color,background color, font name, font size etc. at form startup. These values are kept in a table. Please tell me the best way.

Depend on the values; if the values are a given, i.e if the values only takes a certain combinations then create predefined visual attributes and at runtime apply thro the pre-form trigger.
if the values are vary regularly then pick the values at runtime pass it thro parameters/global variables at the pre-form
/when-new-form instance.

Adobe Interactive Forms with Browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to implement HCM P&F using Adobe Interactive Forms. These Adobe Forms will be accessed using Browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox. I have come across that the Adobe Interactive Forms are not supported on these browsers. In the same regard I have also gone through the Product Availability Matrix by SAP which specifies that Forms are not support on these browser and neither SAP has future plans to support them.

I would like to know from experts that if any of the project has successfully implemented Adobe Interactive Forms with browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox or
is there any solution which can make these forms work successfully on browser Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox.

Hello,
Mozilla Firefox is supported for Adobe Interactive Forms on Windows operation system.
Unfortunatelly we do not have support for Mac OS and Safari browser.
Please re-check the PAM.

Is there a replacement for Lazarus (form recovery extension for Safari)?

I used to use Lazarus to save form content (e.g., when a poorly designed site's page validation flushes all the content after finding something to nitpick). After upgrading to Mavericks a few weeks ago, I noticed that Lazarus was no longer working. The developers site (http://getlazarus.com ) is still active (though the "contact us" form fails to accept any submissions), but there doesn't appear to have been an update to the extension for over a year.
Is there any other extension/trick for saving Safari form content (and repopulating it when returning to a form/field)?

I, too, was sad to see Lazarus break. It appears the developers abandoned it, and certainly aren't paying attention to Safari usage.

This can be installed via any Safari extension that can inject userscripts into webpages, like the old "NinjaKit" or the new "Javascript Blocker."
