Hi exprts:
  I'm using se71 to draw 2 line, and 2 column automaticcally generated on the edge. It's like a box, I don't know how to cancel the 2 column, thanks in advance.

Hi.
look for the Box command....
Check the Box command syntax below:
BOX Command
Syntax
/: BOX XPOS YPOS WIDTH HEIGHT FRAME INTENSITY
Effect: draws a box of the specified size at the specified position.
Parameters: For each of XPOS, YPOS, WIDTH, HEIGHT, and FRAME, you must specify both a measurement and a unit of measurement. Specify the INTENSITY parameter as a percentage between 0 and 100.
XPOS, YPOS
Upper left corner of the box, relative to the values of the POSITION command.
Default: Values specified in the POSITION command.
The following calculation is performed internally to determine the absolute output position of a box on the page:
X(abs) = XORIGIN + XPOS
Y(abs) = YORIGIN + YPOS
WIDTH
Width of the box. Default: WIDTH value of the SIZE command.
HEIGHT
Height of the box. Default: HEIGHT value of the SIZE command.
FRAME
Thickness of frame.
Default: 0 (no frame).
INTENSITY
Grayscale of box contents as %.
Default: 100 (full black)
Measurements: You must specify decimal numbers as literal values (like ABAP numeric constants) by enclosing them in inverted commas. Use the period as the decimal point character. See also the examples listed below.
Units of measurement: The following units of measurement may be used:
TW (twip)
PT (point)
IN (inch)
MM (millimeter)
CM (centimeter)
LN (line)
CH (character).
The following conversion factors apply:
1 TW = 1/20 PT
1 PT = 1/72 IN
1 IN = 2.54 CM
1 CM = 10 MM
1 CH = height of a character relative to the CPI specification in the form header
1 LN = height of a line relative to the LPI specification in the form header
/: BOX FRAME 10 TW
Draws a frame around the current window with a frame thickness of 10 TW (= 0.5 PT).
/: BOX INTENSITY 10
Fills the window background with shading having a gray scale of 10 %.
/: BOX HEIGHT 0 TW FRAME 10 TW
Draws a horizontal line across the complete top edge of the window.
/: BOX WIDTH 0 TW FRAME 10 TW
Draws a vertical line along the complete height of the left hand edge of the window.
/: BOX WIDTH '17.5' CM HEIGHT 1 CM FRAME 10 TW INTENSITY 15
/: BOX WIDTH '17.5' CM HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
/: BOX XPOS '10.0' CM WIDTH 0 TW HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
/: BOX XPOS '13.5' CM WIDTH 0 TW HEIGHT '13.5' CM FRAME 10 TW
Draws two rectangles and two lines to construct a table of three columns with a highlighted heading section.

  • Free form Drawing inside Acrobat

    Is it possible to enable a user to free form draw (lines, boxes etc) inside a designated part of the form.
    I'd like to use this in a scenario where i ask students to draw a certain chromosome or cell composition.
    I've got a form setup which can be filled out electroniccaly, questions (open, multiple choice, types can be added in) but a "draw this" consutruction can't seem to be inserted to the form.
    Thanks for your help!
    Rob

    If you see it as a problem with the way it is working and can document the issue, please submit a change/fix request to Acrobat Feature Requests. I have issues with the pencil tool if used for annotations. If you are not careful when doing crosses and/or dots, you end up selecting the object instead and it starts moving. It sounds like your issue is a bit different and may be related to how Acrobat is recognizing the touch on the screen.

  • How to draw line on SAP form

    Hi everyone,
    Who have a good way to draw lines on SAP form?
    I created a Wizard form, and use Rectangle (Height=0) as the two lines between title and bottom button, but I met a problem, when show another form which cover the line, after close this form, some part of lines disappear, I have tried using SAP form refresh, it still can not restore showing line completely, who have good way to workaround the problem or give me another way to draw line.
    Thanks in advance!
    Kathy

    The only way I found to get a form looking really close to a standard B1 Wizard form is to use bitmaps.  I use 3 - one each for the top, bottom and left hand side.  The bitmaps include the line drawing and appropriate pictures/background colours.  I normally define these in the XML used to create the form as in the following example:-
    <item uid="PTOP" type="117" left="0" width="566" top="0" height="80" visible="1" enabled="1" from_pane="0" to_pane="0">
            <AutoManagedAttribute/>
            <specific picture="AZU_SPC_WIZ_TOP2.bmp">
                    <databind databound="0" table="" alias=""/>
            </specific>
    </item>
    <item uid="PBOT" type="117" left="0" width="566" top="336" height="40" visible="1" enabled="1" from_pane="0" to_pane="0">

    This is what you need to do:
    1> In the tables->details section define two line types LT1 and LT2.
    2> Come back to tables section pressing the table painter button.
    3> Select a line type for which you want to have an underline(say LT2).
         a] If the anchor cursor does not come click the draw lines and columns button( the pencil icon nutton)
         b] select the line type ( it will become black after selection. Press and hold down ctrl to select
             multiple cells.
         c] after selection click the lower 'frame button' ( which is right at the top of box and shading).
    4> Now goto data section where you have given your internal table name and work area.
         a] in the sort criteria put your field POSNR and check the Event on Sort end chk box.
         b] you will see an extra node under the main area of the table.
         c] Create a table line with the line type LT2 in the node.
         d]Also in the Main area add another table line with LT1 as the line type.
    5> If POSNR remains unchnged LT1 will be triggered.
    6> if Posnr changes then LT2 will be triggered with the underline.
    This will suffice your requirement.

  • SmartForms - draw line in template

    Hi!
      I am new to SF, so have a question on drawing line in a template. I use template as the data is only printed out once and is static. I have many columns in my template and I would like to draw lines on the columns so that it is tidy & looks nicer.
      I double click the template & in the "output options" tab, I checked the check box "line with..", but error prompt out to stop me, saying "Boxes/Shadings are not allowed within a table".
      Does anyone know how can I draw lines in a template?
      Kindly advise.
    best regards,
    Ginnie

    Hi,
             Click on the template under the template tab, and then click on the select pattern just under the template heading , there you use lines.

  • Flash Drawing API error?

    Hi!
    I think Flash drawing API is not working like it should...
    Test this:
    var W:Number = 12;
    var H:Number = 12;
    function drawRectExt():void
                this.graphics.clear();
                this.graphics.lineStyle(1,0xFF0000);
                this.graphics.beginFill(0xFFFFFF, 1);
                this.graphics.drawRect(0,0,W,H);
                this.graphics.endFill();
    function drawRectInt():void
                this.graphics.lineStyle();
                this.graphics.beginFill(0xFF0000, 1);
                this.graphics.drawRect(W*0.2,H*0.2,W-W*0.4,H-H*0.4);
                this.graphics.endFill();
    drawRectExt();
    drawRectInt();
    This is the result (and the error?):
    Why Flash doesn't draw the inner box (red) in the middle of the outer box?

    Hi again kglad!
    first I want to thank you for your help with this..
    now, I have tested your code with "intSqSide = 7;"
    and it looks good at 100%, but if you zoom it you will see that it's not centered.
    In numbers, with intSqSide = 7, the code looks like this:
    function drawRectExt():void {
        this.graphics.clear();
        this.graphics.lineStyle(1,0xFF0000);
        this.graphics.beginFill(0xFFFFFF, 1);
        this.graphics.drawRect(0,0,12,12);
        this.graphics.endFill();
    function drawRectInt():void {
        delete this.graphics.lineStyle();
        this.graphics.beginFill(0xFF0000, 1);
        this.graphics.drawRect(3,3,7,7);
        this.graphics.endFill();
    My last version was:
    function drawRectExt2():void
                this.graphics.clear();
                this.graphics.lineStyle(1,0xFF0000);
                this.graphics.beginFill(0xFFFFFF, 1);
                this.graphics.drawRect(-0.5,-0.5,12,12);
                this.graphics.endFill();
    function drawRectInt2():void
                this.graphics.lineStyle();
                this.graphics.beginFill(0xFF0000, 1);
                this.graphics.drawRect(2,2,7,7);
                this.graphics.endFill();
    I think it's logic to offset in X and Y direction the width/2 of the line. Because Flash draws the line centered, there should be an option to change that, like in Illustrator, where you can draw the stroke centered, aligned to inside or aligned to outside.
    I don't know why Flash does not support this feature!
    It's really frustrating to draw lines in this way. If I draw a box with 12px side and 1px contour, I want that box with those values! not 11px inside, and not with an offset of half pixel in each side!.

  • WHAT IS THE FIX TO THIS ERROR:  XML Parsing error: not well-formed (invalid token) (error code 4)

    Hello, looking to see if there's anyone out there who knows how to resolve this error from popping up when I open a previously saved adobe file with data populated inside (tax form).
    The error states:
    XML Parsing error: not well-formed (invalid token) (error code 4), line 16028, column 2 of file.
    So when I go to open this file, THAT ERROR appears.  But then allows me to view the content inside the PDF (tax form) - however it will not allow further editing - this is an issue.
    This began after working and populating certain files, then transferring to a hosting site.  Now when I open any PDF file from the hosting site, the error appears.  Could just be coincidental however throwing that out there in case it's useful.
    What causes this error & what is the fix?
    Cheers!

    Unfortunately No.  This was a tax form downloaded from IRS.gov.  The PDF file has been populated and saved off.  I believe the file has somehow become corrupt.  Curious how to cleanse the file so it opens without issue (that error message).
    Thanks for your response

  • Drawing line in Smartform

    Hi All
    I can create table using Table painter.
    There will be 4 rows and having few columns in the table.
    I would like to draw a line after 2nd row, so that when i take print of the form, A line should appear on paper after 2ns row of the table.
    How to do it..???
    Please explain me.......
    Regards
    Pavan

    Hi,
    If you select suitable patterns,line will come automatically.
    Otherwise,you can use underscore or minus in text element while you are displaying the output.
    Another way is to design a character in style in such a way that the text should be underlined.Use the style in output options for the text element.

  • XML Parsing error: not well-formed (invalid token) (error code 4) --- Urgent Help Needed!

    Hi all, what im doing now is im trying to create a database connection my my MS SQL 2005 database. I created a data source and went to my Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1, i created a new data connection, selected OLEDB and created the connection string using the build function.
    Ok, now the problem is, after creating the new data connection and i click on the preview tab, i will receive the error stated above.
    'XML Parsing error: not well-formed (invalid token) (error code 4), line 444, column 1 of file'
    Does anyone know why am i receiving this error and how do i go about solving this?
    I need this database connection to pre-fill my form when the user downloads the form =(

    I have a vital form that clients fill out, which is passed to many people in the company along the workflow. The form is a Planner and we have in the following PDF, Word Doc..
    Well before, the Planner.pdf was originally created in Word, since most people have access to Word.. but evolved to a PDF form created from the Word Doc via Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.0 w/ User Rights enabled so that the form could be filled out and saved using Adobe Reader.. which was a step better than Word.. being that it is free. But this needed to be easier and more to the point b/c some clients don't particularly like installing the latest version of Reader, even if you provide them the link. Nor do they like saving the form, filling the form, and attaching the form to send back.
    My goal is to have the client fill an HTML version of the form, submit and be done with it, but everyone in the workflow be able to easily receive the filled Planner as a PDF form.
    So some months ago I ran into this post Chris Trip, "Populate Livecycle PDF from mySQL database using PHP" #8, 22 Sep 2007 4:37 pm
    which uses the command line Win32 pdftk.exe to merge an FDF file into an existing PDF on the remote server, and serve this to whoever.
    My problem was with shared hosting and having the ability to use the Win32 pdftk.exe along with PHP which is predominantly used on Linux boxes. And we used a Linux box.
    so i created the following unorthodox method, which a client fills the HTML version of the Planner, all field values are INSERTED into a table in MySQL DB, I and all filled planners that have been filled by clients to date can be viewed from a repository page where an XML file is served up of the corresponding client, but someone would have to have Acrobat Professional, to import the form data from the XML file into a blank form.. altoughh this is simple for me.. I have the PHP file already created so that when a Planner is filled and client submits. >> the an email is sent to me with a table row from the repository of the client name, #, email, and a link to d-load the XML file,
    But I also have the PHP files created so that the Planner can be sent to by email to various people in the workflow with certain fileds ommitted they they do not need to see, but instead of the XML file beiong served up i need the filled PDF Planner to be served.
    I can do this locally with ease on a testing server, but I am currently trying to use another host that uses cross-platform compatibility so i can use PHP and the pdftk.exe to achieve this, as that is why I am having to serve up an XML file b/c we use a Linux server for our website, and cant execute the exe.
    Now that I am testing the other server (cross-platform host), just to use them to do the PDF handling (and it's only $5 per month) I am having problems with getting READ, WRITE, EXECUTE permissions..
    Si guess a good question to ask is can PHP do the same procedure as the pdftk.exe, and i can eleminate it.
    or how in the heck can i get this data from the DB into a blank PDF form, like i have described??

    Can anyone tell me where i am going wrong.

    It's a good idea to run you code in the debugger because you will be notified of runtime exceptions that the release version of the Flash Player will not show you. Here's the runtime error I got when running your example:
    Error: addChild() is not available in this class. Instead, use addElement() or modify the skin, if you have one.
         atspark.components.supportClasses::SkinnableComponent/addChild()[frameworks\projects\ spark\src\spark\components\supportClasses\SkinnableComponent.as:1118]
         at myMain()[b.mxml:19]
         at __so_mouseOver()[b.mxml:27]
    The problem with your app is it is calling addChild(), which is not supported on s:Application. You need to call addElement() instead. addElement() only takes an object of type IVisualElement so you need to make your shape a UIComponent.  Try this:
                import mx.core.UIComponent;
                private var s:UIComponent = new UIComponent();
                public function myMain():void
                    // Launch your application by right clicking within this class and select: Deubg As > FDT SWF Application
                    so.text="button is cliked";
                    s.graphics.lineStyle(3, 0x00FF00,.5);
                    s.graphics.lineTo(200, 200);
                    this.addElement(s);
                    so.text="button is cliked";

  • Draw lines jspx

    Hello,
    I'm using jdeveloper 11.1.1.6.0 and I'm trying to make an web application that allows me to draw lines. First i did the project in HTML:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML>
    <html>
      <head>
        <script>
          window.onload = function() {
            var canvas = document.getElementById("myCanvas");
            var context = canvas.getContext("2d");
            context.beginPath();
            context.moveTo(100, 150);
            context.lineTo(50, 50);
            context.stroke();
        </script>
      </head>
      <body>
        <canvas id="myCanvas" width="578" height="200"></canvas>
      </body>
    </html>This works fine, but when I insert the label <canvas id="myCanvas" width="578" height="200"> </ canvas> jspx file, I get the error Element 'canvas' not expectedWhat am I doing wrong?

    I just try "<h:canvas> </ canvas>" and I get the same error, so I think that the problem is that the element "canvas" is from html5 and the html that creates jsp is html 4.01.
    I've tried with jspx but I get the same result
