Form function, with security password on ipad

Hi.
I've been trying to create an acrobat form with form filling function - for people to type in to during an event on their ipads. BUT we want it to have a secure password. The idea is that the people attending the events download the document prior to the event, but can't open it until they are given a password at the event. It means we can save the surprise.
The problem is, I can't seem to save a PDF document, with a fillable form function that you can save, AND give it a password. Once i add the password function, this seems to stop the form being fillable, on the ipad. I've tried loads of different ways to write it, and different versions of acroabt from 9, X, & XI. Tested it out on Acrobat Reader and on ipad. Am I going mad?
If it's not possible, are there any genius' (plural of genius?!) out they with an idea how to work round this. I don't think ipads can open .zip files either (had thought to password protect one of those!).
Oh orginal form created in Indesign 5.5, but also reopened and save in Indesign CC.

It doesn't work with Adobe Reader, which should be considered a bug, but it does work with Readdle's PDF Expert, which is not free.

Email Access with Secure Password Authentication [SPA]

I am sorry if this question is repeated.
My company uses Secure Password Authentication [SPA] to access POP3/SMTP Email access. I was able to configure the email to my iPhone before Company forced SPA.
Can anybody provide instructions to configure the SPA in iphone?

Login MS Exchange with secure password

Hi guys,
I'm trying to use JavaMail to log into MS Exchange Server (Microsoft Exchange IMAP4rev1 server version 5.5.2653.23).
The MS Exchange is configured for authentication.
When I try to connect them, then I get an exception:
"javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: Clear text passwords have been disabled for this protocol"
Is there any way to create secured passwords for the login, or other solutions?

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad/iPod into Recovery Mode

You can't have a virus on your iPad! Maybe someone hacked your hotmailaccount.
Change the password of your Hotmailaccount!

Gmail Mail/Contacts/Calendar Functioning with iPhone But Not iPad

I recently purchased an iPad Mini and input my "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" settings the same exact way as they are in my iPhone...
o Exchange account
o E-mail address is "[X]@gmail.com"
o Server is "m.google.com"
o Domain is left blank
o Username is "[X]@gmail.com"
o Password is correct
o Use SSL is turned on
o S/MIME is turned off
Nevertheless, when I launch the Mail app in my iPad Mini, I get the message "Cannot Get Mail: The connection to the server failed". Similarly, my contacts and calendar data haven't synced at all. I'm not having this issue on my iPhone so am a bit bewildered as to why I'm encountering it on the iPad.
Anyone know what's going on here? Thanks in advance!

Google discontinued Exchange support for free Gmail accounts as of 30 January 2013. Devices that were already set up wiht it will continue to work. However, as you've discovered, attempts to set it up on a new device will not. You will need to set up the account as a regular Gmail account.
To sync your contacts, you need to add a CardDAV account as well:

Powershell script monitor with encrypted password

I have created a powershell script based monitor in my management pack and everything is ok but I can't get my credentials work inside the script. I want to open pssession to another computer with my credentials. I have triple checked that my pssession is
working because I can access it from powershell console.
This works perfectly at local server from PSconsole:
$EncryptedPassword ="01000000d08c9ddf0115d1118c7a00c04fc297eb01000000534b2....etc...etc..."
$pw = convertto-securestring -String $EncryptedPassword

But when I run the same lines inside my management pack the convertto-securestring
does nothing, it just wont convert the encrypted password to secure string!
I have tried this plain text method and it works
inside my management pack, but I don't want to use it because you can see the password in plain text:
ConvertTo-SecureString -String "myPlainTextPassword" -AsPlainText -Force
This is the $error variable, so it's basically says that I don't have anything in the password secure string variable because the convertion did not work for some reason:

Form function security (how to make form Updatable)

Hi...friends...
I have one standard oracle form. Data of that form is updatable in 11.5.7 instances...I can insert,update and delete.
But, we had upgraded Apps to 11.5.10...so, now the same form data is not updatable..I can insert, but cant delete or update...
So, is there any thing like form function security attached with that form or responsibilities in previous version... which are not in new 11.5.10 ??
How can I make that form contents updatable through Sys. Admin. concept.
(not through Form Builder Design)

actually, it was a bug with 11.5.7 oracle versions specific to one check box value.
it was treating check box values as,
i) checked then 'Y
ii) Null then 'Null' ------- the problem was here...due to null, query was not fetching data and that form is having flag which understands only 'Y' or 'N'
iii) not checked then 'N'

My wife reset our Ipad log in security password. She nor I can log on with the new password. We keep getting "wrong password" in red highlight. How can I reset it? Probably basic but I've never had to do it before.

Thanks for the help Niel. I couldn't change the rescue email address (an address that no longer exists and is therefore useless) until I could correctly answer the security questions. After numerous guesses, finally got them right. Was then presented with the option to change the rescue email address. Guess the only other option was to have Apple Support make the change or reset my account info. Have made note of the correct answers so this won't happen again. Thanks for the fast response!!

I would be helpful to know what those "basic steps" you have already tried are, but lacking that information:
Settings app > iTunes & App Stores - sign out of your AppleID
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.
Sign back into your AppleID (same location as noted above)
