Form medruck into a smartform

Hi,
I need to alter a sapscript layout of form medruck into a smartform. I read in forums that there are standard smartform and printing program for sapscript medruck and it is included in the Best Practice Baseline Packages.
Exist another solution or another way to install this functionality without install the entire package?

wat i am getting is like , earlier ur std. form was a sap script and that driver program is written for that ,
Now u created a Smart form for fulfilling ur requirment, but using same driver prg., sure it will not work.
what i can suggest u that take that std. sap script in z-form,
do ur changes in that as required and assign that to driver prg., insted of creating new driver prg for ur SF , becoz accuracy of std. driver prg. will be more then z-prg.
if u have to hide some values from display ,then just made changes in SAP script only, but if u want some new info. to display on script then u have to make change in driver prg. also

If I'm not wrong, we don't have any SAP-Script Style, but when we are trying to upgrade to SmartForms simply u upgrade using smartforms transaction code, and it will convert all your character formats and paragraph formats and try to assign as SYSTEM Style in Smartforms.
If you find the difference then you need to create SmartStyle manually and assign it.

Can not change the font size in a new text into the smartforms

Hi!!
I have a Footer window into my smartform and I've created a new text into this one
text type: Text element
nothing extrange.
I copied and paste a text from a word document and after that I want to change the font size to 8 and font style to Arial, but after saving the font size and styles goes back the 10 and Currier New.
Any idea?
I also tried typing the hole parragraph and I get the same issue!...

First Reset paragraph and Character and then set the new fontfor the same.
dont copy the same into word and back form
also goto change editotr and check the style used for the same.

Is there a way to create an export button on a pdf form that will send form info into ongoing excel spreadsheet?

I'm trying to see if there is a way to create a submit button on my pdf form that will export the form data into a saved (ongoing) excel spreadsheet. The end result i'm hoping for would be a spreadsheet that lists all the information i receive from each form.

Not really. But you can combine the data from multiple forms into a single (new) spreadsheet via Tools - Forms - More Form Options - Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet...

How do you change a "row Label" in form central into an interactive text box? I need to leave some of the row labels plank so that people using the form can add some of their on labels. Can this be done and if so how?

I'm not quite sure I understand your question. Respondents (fillers of the form) cannot edit the label of a field.

Import Text From Form Field into Subject Line of Email

Hello,
Is there a way to import text from a form field into the subject line of the email when sending back (attaching) the PDF form? In other words, there is an "applicant name" and I would like that name to be the subject line of the email.
I am using Adobe Acrobat X (10.1.7)
If any one has aby guidance or resources online where I can locate this information I would greatly appreciate it! I have been searching all day but have not found a solution yet.

Thank you so much for the help. For some reason I cannot get it to work though. Now, when I hit the submit button it does not do anything.
Previously, I had the following code under
ACTIONS>Mouse Up>Submit a Form

I removed the above mailto URL and put in your code as a Javascript function. I made sure that my field name matched the name in quotes within the code.
I used the following:

You can embed the form on your website, but you need to make sure that javascript has been enabled in the browser. You need to copy the embed code and add it into your HTML code. How to save the form data into adobe db?
I have designed one xdp file.
Through processFormSubmission(), I got the submitted form data as Document obj.
Then I have called the workflow kickoff program.
code:

It successfulyy started the workflow, but the submitted form data is not saved anywhere.
And also, How get the form data from tables?

You need to create a process variable of type IN if you want to be able to pass data to your process. Then the params parameter (HashMap) contains a list of all the IN variables with their content that you want to pass to your process. They key is the name of the variable and the value the content. That way you should get it in your process.
Now LiveCycle will create a column in the database for every process variable, so the content will be saved in the database just by creating that process variable.

i have a requirement to move the header text of the PO after the terms of payment. but in the standard form medruck the codes for header text are in the first line of the main window so it should be display first.but how this header text displays after the terms of conditions?can someone tell me the reasons why.?

Infrastructure and forms server into same machine

Dear friends,
I am faching strange problem
, I install 9ias(9.0.2.0.1) infrastucture and form server into same machine,
after sucessfull installation it is mention infrastucture will run the port 7777 and form will 7778,
but after just installation it work into these ports but when i restats the system then port of infrastucture change and it is 7779.
now if i run forms the it give internal error 500,
then I stop fist infrastucture http server then http server of form
and again first start infrastucture hhtp server then form http server
now agin infrastructure server port id 7779(insted of 7777)
but now my form work properly.
every day i do this job , but some time this method fails then i have to again install server and have to repeate above mention job .
pls help me

Mid-tier listens on a lot of ports. On a std install (with both Infra and Mid-tier) Web-cache listens on port 7778 "in front of" httpd for OHS on 7779. So perhaps you forget to start web-cache? (run from BI home: webcachectl)
Perhaps the problem with Forms is related to X Toolkit?

How to store forms fields into the session ?

Hi All,
I have to store forms fields into the session.
I have four forms (htm forms) in four jsps and there are total 25 fields.
I am inserting all the fields into the database at once while user submit the last form.
I want to use session to store forms fields.
So please anybody tell me how to do that.
Is the following code correct to store the forms fields into
the sesstion........
// creating a session

I was just asking that if I use the following

</jsp:useBean>then will I be able to acheive my aim as I have to store form fields into the session and later retreive while user submit the last form.

Embedding form code into a lightbox

I am working on a simple test page trying to figure out lightboxes.
I have it almost functional based on examples I found online, however, I am stuck.
I can't seem to figure out how to embed my form code into the lightbox successfully.
Basically, I need to replace the image that pops up with my form.
