Form objects in email not working

Hi All,
I have designed a JSP which is sending survey form in an email to my clients in which I have put some form objects like radio button, text area, and a submit button. Few of my clients receive email with destorted form, or they are not able to press submit button, or form objects don't appear at all only the titles are displayed.
Can someone suggest changes in code to overcome all these problems.

Few of my clients So there is at least one client receives your survey well... So the problem is not with your code... it will be aat the client who receives your mail, maybe something needed to support at the Mail client like the "text/html" content-type. if you use JavaMail, or whatever, insure that you set the content type for the survey to be "text/html", so the mail client be able to recognize the Objects!

Adobe form submit by email not working in Safari

I created a form in Acrobat and set it up for the data to be returned in pdf by email. I had to do this b/c the receiver doesn't have acrobat. I am hearing from the user that submit by email button doesn't work in Safari (the user was able to get it to work in IE). Is there something I need to do to my form or does the user need to do something in Safari?

E-mail submission is client sensitive (this even occurs with HTML forms that use mailto). In Acrobat or Reader on Windows, it uses the default MAPI mail client (if one exists - one of the problems). I have no idea what the requirement is on a MAC, but probably something similar. You need to figure out how to do a web submission to resolve the problems.

All resolved at last
Deleted the SMTP setting
Recreated the SMTP using the same settings
Able to send emails now
No logic - as usual - just a bug!

You don't. Apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them. Instead of creating a new ID, change the primary email address on your existing ID.

InDesign Buttons and Forms... Not Working

Hello Guys,
I'm using Adobe InDesogn CC 10.1.0.70 x64 Build, the problem is with the check box option from Buttons and Forms, They are, simply, not working... I'm trying to add a check box on my pdf I'm creating in InDesign.. I'm using checkbox from "Sample Buttons and forms".. but nothing is working.. I'm just dragging the Check Box samp and drop it in my canvas, exporting it as PDF with "Hyperlinks" checked.. and Interactive Elemnts with Include Appearance chosen but the check box doesn't having any action!! I don't know what I should do to make this work please help

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

Sharing by email not working in PSE10

Hi there. I upgraded from 6 to 10 yesterday and things were going relatively smoothly until I tried to email some attachments. I'm operating on a Windows 7 computer and was trying to share via email attachments. I select my photos and the contact that I want to send it to and then it just goes into limbo with the little moving circle. One time the actual message box came up, but then my attachments were too big, so I reselected some and I haven't been able to get the message box to come up again. Just been trying to do one picture as a test, so its not a size issue at this point. With an old computer I used to do it through Outlook, but don't have that on here as it is a work computer and we use Notes, so I was using the Adobe Mail Services option tied to an email which did get verified. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Amy

Thanks for trying, but what you have suggested did not work. Every time I try to share photos via email, the software crashes. This is extremely frustrating. As far as I am concerned, this software has been a huge waste of time and money.

Please follow the given steps-
1. Launch Organizer.
2. Under 'edit' menu select 'edit->preferences->Adobe Partner services'.
3. Click on 'clear online service data'. Press 'yes' followed by 'Ok' in coming dialogs.
4. Close and launch Organizer again.
5. Again Under 'edit' menu select 'edit->preferences->Adobe Partner services'. Now click on 'refresh' button. Click 'ok' in coming dialog.

This page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly...

I bought this menu made by f-source into my page:
http://beta.asphalt-driveway-sealing.com/, it's working fine except I got this message each time I am opening my file with dreamweaver CS4: 'this page contains some SWF objects that may not work properly in the most recent versions of Internet Explorer. Dreamweaver cannot convert them to the new SWF markups. Please delete each of them and insert again' and what I did but still got this message
the developer told me that: "I previous versions of Dreamweaver you could disable the Active
Content Converter http://f-source.com/before_insert/
In CS4 there is no such option."
Please let me know what can I do then.

Hi
CS4 uses a 'nested' type of object code to insert swf/flv files, which is more compliant than previous code. Obviously the f-source extension is not cs4 compliant if it is changing this, (the message indicates it is doing so) and is something you should pursue via there support department. However even though it is giving you this message it should still work on live pages.

Get message - Outgoing server failed.
Problem started last night.
I'm in Northern California.
Never had this problem before, dont know what to do next.

I still can't make it work on the iPhone5 or iPad.
I can't figure out how to switch outgoing servers on the iP5 or iPad.
On the MBPro I can use a different outgoing server and it works.

I had a bad experience with my gmail account. It was really slow. 15min looks to work but it won´t make it faster as push email is not supported by gmail when using nokia devices ( I have read it somewhere on a gmail mobile compatibility chart at google help pages)
I have created an ovi mail account and it works as push email on my c6 00 (latest firmware). I have setup gmail to send a copy of all the incoming emails to my ovi account, so I have instant feedback at my phone of incoming mails.
The bad news of this workaround is that when I reply i´m doing it from my ovi account where y erase the mails after reading as I have the original mail at gmail.
I hope this helps someone that needs push+gmail.

When can’t send or receive emails, can you find any related error message? Did you in SBS domain environment?

in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it

IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

Submit by email not working as form validation failed.

Ive created a form with mulitple pages. Three pages require form validation.
Each page is a unique process so I'm trying to use the "Submit button" to only submit that
particular page. I've created dummy fields as defaults to cure the validation problem but
can't seem to get the e-mail button to work. I also created a email dummy button with the
scripting:
EmailSubmitButton.execEvent("click");
I did this to try to force the the form to be sumitted via PDF. I am a novice at this so please
help. I'd be happy to send the form as well for review

You may need to enable usage rights in your form. You must have version 8 to do this. Open the form in Acrobat Pro (not Livecycle), click on Advanced tab, then select "enable usage rights in Adobe Reader"

Email not working in my form?

I am developing an html, javascript and asp site with Dreamweaver MX, My box is xp professional. The main functionality of the site is to let clients join online and enter in to an authority to act contract that lets me collect their overdue receivables on their behalf. From my default page the user links to the file getauth.asp, this is a form that takes all the needed information. Once they fill in the form and hit the submit button the inserted data directs to another file receiveauth.asp for printing and emailing to my email address. After they hit print they should then be directed to another file confirm.asp that tells them they have completed the form. So far all the data from the first file is captured and directs to the second file receiveauth.asp and does in deed print ok, but the email does not work and you are not directed to the confirm.asp page after printing.
I will attach the three files.
Can anybody who has time tell me whats wrong? Apart from my skills as a novice Dreamweaver MX user.

How are you expecting that page to redirect to confirm.asp? The only redirect I see is here:

                else
                    response.redirect(RedirectURL)
                end If
            end if
You are setting the redirect url to "" so even if that code block is executed, it's not going anywhere.
