Form Totals not translating properly in Acrobat 9.

I have built a form using Livecycle and am having issues with clients not getting the same totals adding up properly in acrobat 9, the totals translate properly to XI.

Hello? Is there nobody in the Adobe universe that has an actual solution to my problem?
Other things I've tried to solve this:
repair the install.
uninstall and reinstall
cuss at the computer
throw a tantrum.
I will pay someone a whole dollar for a solution that works.

  • WEB Forms do not display properly with windows 95 LARGE fonts desktop setting

    Hi,
    We are using WEB forms 6.0 patch level 6 (We tried 6i but had too many bugs with it, we prefer to wait until at least a couple of patches are out, installation was a VERY painful experience for us)
    We still have the following problem with WEB FORMS deployed on win95 desktops with LARGE FONTS destktop settings: The forms are not displayed correctly, sometimes there are no scroll bars, resizing a window gives weird results, part of the forms become inaccesible, some forms are blank, etc...
    Can you verify or confirm that you have the same kind of problems ? We use jinitiator 1.1.18.
    Is it fixed with 6i ? Is it fixed wit jinit 1.1.27 ?
    We develop in smal fonts on win95 and recompile under solaris before deploying.
    Thanks

    Thank you all for your fast asnwers. The "Use hardware acceleration when available" was the problem, I disabled it and I will post a message on my site about this.
    The site is on-line in the same aspect since 2005, modifiyng the whole site to fit with Firefox11's default setting is not a good option. At that moment, placing a tabel (alligned to the center of the page) and puting in it the thumbnails with links generated by ExpressThumbnailCreator, than manually adding the description in the HTML view of FrontPage was the simplyest way possible to make the site appear properly on my 800*600 px resolution I used then. Of course, I upgraded my hardware and software since then, but the site remained mostly unchanged (except the index and a few files). I know it's time for a new version of the site but... my web-design knowledges are limited to basic HTML.

  • Menu windows not displaying properly in Acrobat 11 STD

    When I try to print any PDF file (clicking File->Print) the Print Menu that opens is missing all text in the window incl all buttons. I tried installing a separate Adobe Reader in local Danish language just to test the application but this was worse. So uninstalled and sticking to Acrobat.
    I also tried click File->Properties and this is also not displaying properly.
    I fear this has something to do with Microsoft compatibility, but I don't know. I have MS Windows 7 Pro SP1 installed.
    The good news is I can guess the bottom 2 buttons - 'OK' (left button) and 'Cancel' (right button) which at least allows me to print in the default preferences.
    Any ideas how to fix? I have the latest update installed.

    I have been working together with Adobe support team to solve this. After multiple rootcauses we found the issue.
    The issue was caused by not having the default windows font 'Segoe UI' installed. Sounds strange that Win 7 does not come with the font that is used by this application but the tip worked.
    Google a website to download the font from, I used 'Fontpalace.com' - install the font - and voila the issue is solved.

  • LiveCycle Form does not render correctly in Acrobat X

    Hi,
    I created a form in LiveCycle that includes 3 pages, positioned and flowing subforms, text items and data fields, etc.  My document operates fine when I preview and test it in pdf format within LiveCycle.  However, when I open the document in Acrobat X and enter data into the form and save it and print it, it is still fine.  However, when I then go back into the form after I have saved data into it, to update it, the formatting is skewed.  It pushes data on top of data.....I have searched for the possible reason why and cannot find anything.  Can anyone help?

    Sure,
    Here is the shot....as you can see, the first table is running over the top of the next question and the next three tables are pushed together .....   this part of the form is positioned in designer so should not even be moving.
    This form looks and operates beautifully in the initial previews.....

  • 10.1.2.3 Forms is not working properly on OEL5

    Hi
    I just installed OracleAS Forms Reports 10.1.2.3 on OEL5 and when I try to see the form on the web it appears that PL/SQL triggers are not being fired. The When-New-Form-Instance trigger is not fired or when I click the commit button there is no response. I check the application.log and OC4J~OC4J_BI_Forms~default_island~1 and I don't see any errors.
    Any ideas where can I check to see errores?
    Regards,
    Néstor Boscán

    Of course you recompiled your forms on the new server? Maybe just do the obvious: put some debug messages in your triggers to see if they actually fire instead of trying to solve the problem by guessing? Or don't you have the sources available?
    cheers

  • Fonts not printing properly in Acrobat 11

    I am running Acrobat 11.0.04 on a Mac with Mountain Lion. On 3 Oct 2013 I converted a .xlsx file (I use Excel 2011 v14.3.8) to pdf following the procedure File > Print > PDF > Save as Adobe PDF. It worked perfectly. Sometime since then, something has changed with Acrobat and now when I follow the same procedure (even to this same .xlsx file) my fonts are not appearing correctly in the PDF and my glyphs (eg, bullets) do not print at all. The font I am using is Lucida Sans Unicode and it's a True Type font. I am experiencing the same problem when I try to convert Word 2011 documents to PDF as well. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Large images not displaying properly in Acrobat Pro 9

    When creating PDF documents from any software (Illustrator, Corel, InDesign, etc), color objects over 50% of the page size have white fill. If object has an outline, the outline will appear normally, but the fill will be white. I've searched forums everywhere and have found no answer. Most forum topics on this are issue focus on settings in the program that exported the PDF. I am 99% sure this is not an export problem, but is something in Acrobat itself (a missed setting? Corrupt program file?)
    To provide the best information, I've done a little scientific research. Here is what I know:
    Currently running Acrobat Pro 9.5.5
    This is only happening on ONE install of Acrobat 9. Documents display correctly in Reader X and in Acrobat 9 on other machines.
    Started happening a few weeks ago, I have no idea what changed.
    "Show Large Images" in preferences dialog is checked. Unchecking it and rechecking it does nothing.
    Have installed all available updates to the software
    I experimented with different object sizes. At 50% of page size, objects appeared normal, at 51% filled object disappears.
    Does not affect photos, only affects vector objects.
    I welcome all ideas to fix this.
    ALSO - Am running this on Windows Vista 64 Bit

  • Links in pdf file not working properly (in Acrobat Reader)

    Hello everybody
    I'm converting a book I wrote from mobi to pdf with Calibre. While formatting the document, I used some html, including a few links between different parts of the same document.
    However, when I test the pdf document in Acrobat and I click on links, they always send me about a page before of what I marked with the a name attribute... This doesn't happen when I try the book on the calibre pdf reader...
    I've been looking around but can't find why. I've checked my book on mobi, and everything is OK there. This only seems to happen on the document itself on with the way Acrobat reads it.
    Any ideas or explanations?
    Thanks!

    You might want to check with Calibre about the issue. If you had Acrobat you could reset the bookmarks. Since Adobe created the initial PDF document standard, I have seen this in PS files where bookmarks were placed on a page before any content was placed on the page. The bookmark was in the limbo area were a page might not exist if no content were added to the page.

  • Text not saving properly in Acrobat Pro XI

    I use Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. When I use the add text function, everything shows up correctly. I save the file and close it. Later on, when I open the saved file, some of the text (especially capital letters and symbols) show up as little boxes with an X in them. I have to highlight, cut, and paste everything in order for the text to show back up. Once it happens one time, it usually does not happen again. However, if I open up a document, fix the boxes, add additional notes, those notes then turn into boxed Xs the next time I open the document.
    How do I fix this?

    Hi rdh2209,
    Is Acrobat 11 updated to the latest patch v11.0.09?
    Does this happen with any specific font?
    Try repairing Acrobat and check if it resolves the problem.

  • MS Word not working properly after Acrobat install

    I installed Acrobat XI Pro a few days ago. Now when I open MS Word I get a constantly running "wait" icon. I can use the program minimally, but it is extremely sluggish. I tried disabling the Acrobat Addin - no difference. I tried repairing my Word program - no difference. I tried printing to Adobe PDF printer (which worked fine) and surprise, the constantly running wait icon disappeared and Word worked normally. But the next time I opened Word the problem returned. I tried removing Adobe PDF printer from my list of printers - no difference. I then went back to the original Acrobat installation. I can now use Word in a limited way if I select the Adobe PDF printer first, but my regular Canon printing program isn't functioning properly. Help please!!!  (I'm using Office 2007.)

  • ExportAsFDF is not working properly on Acrobat Professional 8

    Hi,
    I am working on Acrobat Professional 8 to export FDF using vb.net. FDF export by manually is working proper but from script its giving me below FDF file:
    %FDF-1.2
    %âãÏÓ
    1 0 obj
    <</FDF<</ID[<D112096744983A4F942778C9714C68BB><18355F3D06AAA94DA58E6A87990B91AA>]/UF(/D/Te st.pdf)/F(/D/Test.pdf)>>>>
    endobj
    trailer
    <</Root 1 0 R>>
    %%EOF
    There are 8 annotations in my file but not a single annotation is captured.
    I used below code for FDF export:
               Dim SamplePDFFilePath As String = "D:/Test.pdf"
                Dim AcroApp As New Acrobat.AcroApp
                Dim AcroAVDoc As New Acrobat.AcroAVDoc
                Dim AcroPDDoc As Acrobat.AcroPDDoc
                Dim lRet As Long
                lRet = AcroApp.Show
                lRet = AcroAVDoc.Open(SamplePDFFilePath, "")
                AcroPDDoc = AcroAVDoc.GetPDDoc
                Dim pN As Integer = AcroPDDoc.GetNumPages()
                Dim jso As Object
                jso = AcroPDDoc.GetJSObject
                jso.exportAsFDF(True, "D:/test.fdf")
    Please help me to export proper FDF file.

    Acrobat 8 is long ago forgotten and unsupported by Adobe, but what you write looks correct for when you specify bAllFields as true and do not specify bAnnotations, which defaults to false.

  • Cookies not translated properly?

    I have an existing application that runs under 9iAS 1.0.2.1 and 1.0.2.2 with JServ as well as in JDeveloper 3.2. The application uses cookies as part of its authentication method. I tried deploying to OC4J and it appears that cookies are not getting parsed properly. I am getting back other parts of the HTTP header.
    I'll try to prepare a test case but I was curious if anybody else has seen this.

    I think that I have this narrowed down a bit more ... the problem is with cookies that have an empty string for their value.
    Running this under JDev or 9iAS (Jserv) produces proper output. The first time accessed it doesn't display cookie values, the second time it shows the values correctly, including the "empty" cookie (cookie0):
    cname = cookie2
    cvalue = test2
    cname = cookie1
    cvalue = test1
    cname = cookie0
    cvalue =
    Under OC4J, the first time the page is accessed, an exception is thrown, the second time, the following output is displayed:
    cname = JSESSIONID
    cvalue = BKMNFKDCKOEB
    cname = cookie0
    cvalue = ; cookie1=test1
    cname = cookie2
    cvalue = test2
    Notice that cookie0's value is incorrect.

  • Some images and handwritten content not converting properly

    Some images on a pre printed pdf form and hand written details on a form are not converting properly and come out as rubbish.
    Can this be fixed?

    Hi
    thanks - I will try a different browser, but attached are the two forms.  they both have a handwritten element with a signature or the client completing the one with boxes by putting x's in the boxes to answer the questions.  This is what is not working.  It all comes out mixed and changed.
    Thanks.
