Hi All,
When will this form FORM USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION will trigger in the user exit 'MV45AFZZ' My requirement is I need to make one field on the screen additional data A Disable based on some condition for the change transctions VA02, I am writing the code in the form 'FORM USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION ' but this form is not triggering when I am changing and saving the line items it's triggering at the begining when we are trying to enter into the Ist screen of va02. Can some body will give idea where I have to write my code and what's the exact purpose of the user exit 'USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION '.

Hi,
I still do not have my desired solution.
I can not work with userexit_move_field_to_vbap because this userexit is called at the begin of creating a sales document.
With Userexit_field_modification I still have the problem that I loose the value in VBAP-KTGRM when I leave the dynpro.
My coding Inside Userexit_field_modification:

Set to INPUT on when in Create or Change mode

Modify screen in VA41 : How to hide field in userexit_field_modification

Hello,
How to hide field at item level only (User should not be able to edit this field) in userexit_field_modification, instead of hiding the complete column.
If I use

Help in defaulting a value in a program

I have a program called MV45AZZA, and I got the following requirement
In MV45AFZZ we need to default VBAP-BWTAR = RH while new items are added in transaction VA01 and VA02, if sales org = 5090, order type = ZSBK and MBEW-BWTTY = 1 for the VBAP-MATNR. Once defaulted user should be able to change it to new value in VA01 and VA02, in that case system should not overwrite it with default value.
Sales order functionality needs to be changed to account for Sbank sales updating to repair profit center.
any help in coding is highly appreciated. i know little ABAP and I would appreciate if somebody can help in adding the code.Please highlight the code you added

For deliveries, use BADI :
LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC (see with Tcode SE18) and method CHANGE_FIELD_ATTRIBUTES.
Create implementation in ref to this badi with Tcode SE19.

To make optional / mandatory you can use in IMG - S&D-> Basic > Functions-> Log of incomplete Procedures => select the fields > from the tables and the system will check for them (OVA2/VUA2)
To make a filed entry enabled or grey (non-entry allowed):
User exits in the program MV45AFZZ-USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION
This user exit can be used to modify the attributes of the screen fields.
To do this, the screen fields are allocated to so-called modification groups 1 - 4 and can be edited together during a modification in ABAP.
If a field has no field name, it cannot be allocated to a group. The usage of the field groups (modification group 1-4) is as follows:
Modification group 1: Automatic modification with transaction MFAW
Modification group 2: It contains 'LOO' for step loop fields
Modification group 3: For modifications which depend on check tables or on other fixed information
Modification group 4: is not used
The FORM routine is called up for every field of a screen. If you require changes to be made, you must make them in this user exit. This FORM routine is called up by the module FELDAUSWAHL.
Actually suppressing fielding sales orders userwise is quite easy. We are doing it in our company. For this we use userexit FORM USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION in MV45AFZZ.

I am creating sales order with reference to sales contract but at the time of sales order we don't have en off stock to deliver to customer , so we have deiced to Third party sales process
But the problem is while creating a sales order with reference to Sales contract the line item of the sales order in grad Mode ( Not changeable mode )
Can any one guide me how sales order line item should be in active mode so i can change the Item category as a TAS third party item category

Item category not changeable in sales order

Hi
I have a material where the item category is not changeable in the sales order after you have pressed 'enter' after the material number. It is a bundle material number, with a BOM (structure scope 'A') - does this mean that the item category is greyed out for change?
It is causing a problem because to select the manual item category in item category assignment, you have to change it before you press enter (and when you do that it only gives you a full list of item categories rather than the ones you can select for the assignment table).

the reason is that if you change something that has relations with other object then problems can raise.
You cannot do anything for this but you can make a user exit at your own risk that 'opens' up the field:

Creation of pop up screen in VA01

Hi Friends,
When user enter Value and UOM in line item ..i need to display a Pop-up with corresponding values in other UOMs..Please suggest solution ..
Pop up shoud come only when user put cursor in Value field of line item...or there may be a button on screen..something like this..

You can use
FORM USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION
FORM USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP
in MV45AFZZ
or
FORM USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP
in MV45AFZB
and code to conditionally show a popup if VBAP-MENGE IS NOT INITIAL (or something similar)
Try these and decide the appropriate place and conditions to meet your requirement.

Help needed in "V45A0003" User Exit

Hello All,
I have one problem doing Userexit "V45A0003" for VA01.
I want to disable one field in VA01 Screen no. "4900" when order type is "RE". I try mentioned Exit for the same and i am able to disable that field for all order type but i am unable to get order type value and unable to disable field, so i want your valuable help to get the order type value given at very first screen (101) of VA01.
So, Please i request all of you to help me in this.

If you want to get the Sales order no in your exit you can make use of below code.
data:wa_vbak type vbak.
field-symbol <FS> type any.
ASSIGN (' (SAPMV45A)VBAK') to <FS>.
If sy-subrc eq 0 and <FS> is assigned.
wa_vbak = <fs>.
endif.
Now in wa_vbak-AUART you will get the sales order type given initial screen of sales order.
You can also use below form in User exit include MV45AFZZ for your requirement.
FORM userexit_field_modification.
ENDFORM.
Here you will all sales order data and no need to use above field symbol assignment to read vbak data.

Change User Status in the sales Order

Hello Experts,
I hope that somebody can help me.
I search to change the field User Status in the sales Order in the transaction VA02 before that the order be displayed.
I have searched in the UE MV45AFZZ, but i didn't found any form that i can use for my issue.
I found one form 'USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION ' by what the program pass when i press enter in the transaction VA02. but the problem that the status is changed in the data base only and not in the screen. In the screen i have always the same status as what was before, to have the new statut i must leave the transaction and execute it another time.
I don't want use forms for saving. What I want is the new status will be set when i press enter in the transaction VA02.
If doesn't exit one form that can resolve my problem, Can i use the Profile Parameters? In this case How use them?

U can choose ur status in change status profile. Go to IMG-CRMTransactionsBasic SettingsStatus ManagementChange Status Profile for User Status.
Here u hv to define ur new status for the transacxtion and assign it to ur transactio. If u r not clear tell.

Difference in Foreground and Background processing of an object

we have implemented SAP ECC 6 on May 6th, 2008.
We are facing an issue in a BDC order creation program when run in background.
But when the same program is executed in foreground it works fine.
In issue is one of the customized condition ZFML is not getting calculated at all.
This customized condition gets determined in an user exit MV45AFZZ in FORM USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION.
Value gets calculated correctely for the conditon ZFML while executed the program in foreground but it fails in background.
The obove exit is being processed when I'm executing a BDC for creating Sales Order through the text file from application server for multiple line item. This needs to be executed every one hour through background only
When I run the BDC in foreground, It is properly executed, but in the background it is not for one particular pricing condition, which is a customized pricing for freight to determine whether for all entire order or for the each line item. System does correctly for the entire order, but not for each line item.
Is it possible that the userexit is not getting triggered in Background.
I had never encountered such situations before. I'm not able to predict this peculiar behaviour of BDC.

Customer exit for tab 'Billing Plan' at item level in VA02

Hi gurus,
is there any customer or user exit for tab 'billing plan' in va02 where we find other tab like SALE A, SALES B, SHIPPING etc, i allready tried mv45afzz (userexit_field_modification) and exit V60F0001( Cmod). the requirement is to suppress field NET VALUE for certain user n based upon sale order type. so i cant use transaction variant.
well i found one include "RV60FUS4" which contain form 'userexit_field_modification' but i dont know how to change the code n through which user exit.
