Format madness ... how to convert 29.97 to 23.98

ok another multi-cam project, so all the the frame rates etc must match to multi-clip. right?
the 2 primary cameras were shot Apple ProRes 422 (HQ), 960 × 720 (1248 × 702) 23.98 FPS. planning to edit in 23.98. the oddball cam was HDV 1080i60, 1440 × 1080 (1888 × 1062) 29.97 FPS. haven't been able to find the settings in compressor that will allow me to convert the oddball cam to the same format as the primary 23.98 cams. unfortunately in the encoder in compressor, when i select Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) as the format type, 23.98 is not available as a frame rate. only 24. which of course doesn't work when multi-clipped.
can anyone suggest a setting that will accomplish this. thanks.

One way:
Convert the clips to ProRes(whichever version you are editing with)at the other clips size(1280x720?) in Compressor. Put all of these files in one folder.
Use Cinema Tools to batch conform to 23.98. Confirm codec, frame size, sync, etc. when you import clips into FC.

Hi,
Iam having a date '14-05-08 09:46:35 AM' (in Varchar format). How to convert this date to TimeZone ('IYYY-MM-DD"T"HH12:MI:SS"Z"FX') format?
For Example,
My input date is '14-05-08 09:46:35 AM' and I need output as '2008-05-14T09:46:35Z'.

So it seems from reading the COMMAND manual that my first issue is that I used a 16GB SD card, and the manual says it will only recogize up to a 2GB SD card. I did use my MB Air's SD card slot and crated a folder and dragged the music files to it, then to the card. So I am going to get a 2GB card and try that next. Otherwise just stick with the iPOD connected. At least that is 8GB

can anyone plz tell me how to convert a String to a date format.I'm using MSACCESS database.I want to store this string in the database.So i need to convert it to a date format since the table is designed such a way with date/time type for date field.I used SimpleDateFormat ,but i can't able to convert.The code is given below:

1. I have one BLDAT field in my internal table.
   its getting updated from input file.
2. The value in the input file is like yyyymmdd.
   So the internal table field is filled like this
   "YYYYMMDD".
3. After this,I have to compare this internal table
   field with BSAD table.
4. The BLDAT field in BSAD table is in the format of
   "MM/DD/YYYY".
5. the BLDAT field is having diff format in internal table and BSAD table.So I am unable to check this value.

Using the WRITE statement

write sy-datum to gd_date mm/dd/yyyy.
OR u can
CONCATENATE gd_date+4(2) gd_date+6(2) gd_date+0(4)
into gd_date seperated by '/' .

I borrowed a JVC Everio HD Camcorder that shoots video and stores on an SD-Card in a CED format. I cannot playback this video on my MAC and would also like to know how to convert to a more standard form of video.

I didn't mess with the iTunes Media folder previously, so I don't think that was the cause. Anyway, I manually fixed most of the songs, but I still can't figure out how to fix the movies that became listed as songs.
Here is a screenshot of what it looks like when I click on "Get Info" for one of the movies (which has ended up in the music section on iTunes):
There is no option to change the media kind to "movie" or "video" even though it is a movie and it still plays as a movie if I press play.

How to convert binary file to a particular format?

I am having a requirement. I have in database various kinds of files stored as binary format. Its a sybase database. Now the files can be .pdf, or .doc also. But they are stored in binary format.
I need to read the file from database.
Now I can use jdbc to read the particular column value which contains the file in binary format.
But tricky part is how to convert the binary file entry in a proper respective file format? So I have another column which basically has the value to tell the type of file. So I have ".doc" or ".pdf" as each entry of file...
So please help me how can we do this using Java?

To convert VHD format, you can also use Convert-VHD comlet. The Convert-VHD cmdlet converts a virtual hard disk file by copying the data from a source virtual hard disk file to a new virtual hard disk file of a specified format and version type. The format
is determined by the file extension of the specified files, either .vhdx or .vhd. Conversion is an offline operation; the virtual hard disk must not be attached when the operation is started.
