Formatting of vertical Line chart

Hi,
Does anyone know why the last element on a LineChar,t when
the form is vertical, does not get displayed correctly?
It seems to get partially displayed as a very thin vertical

Thanks.

  • Combining a Line Chart with a Bar Chart

I'm required to render a chart that has a line chart in the background with a bar chart in the foreground. BarChart requires with one of the axes be Category while the LineChart needs to have both axes be Numeric.
I had seen another post suggesting using a StackPane to put 2 distinct charts on top of each other. I don't think this will be suitable for this due to how different the one axis needs to be.
My hunch is to simply write a new XYChart that renders bars instead of lines. Any other ideas?
    Thanks,

    Hi Chirs,
In SSRS, the chart type is by design. It is not support vertical line chart.

  • Line Chart - Formatting more than 4 lines in line chart

    Hi,

Able to format 4 lines but i have to display total 6 lines.
    Urgent. Please help....
    Thanks,

    Hi,
The design mode is not the right place to edit lines, bars etc for Charts.
You can select individual lines from the Preview Mode and edit them.
    Hope this helps!

  • How to convert from line chart data to CSV format

    Hi ,
I am using Flex 3 and AS.
I am getting data from MS SQL and display the data as line
    chart this is ok.
But i want to convert this line chart data to CSV or .xsl
format.I find one example in fourms the from data grid to CSV
    For this URL is
    http://www.abdulqabiz.com/blog/archives/flash_and_actionscript/datagriddataexporter.php
But i want Line chart to CSV.Please help me.

Line chart is a just a visual representation of some data
that's sitting in your database. Isn't it? You load this in Flex,
probably using HTTPService class, and pass it to some chart object.
Now when use says that she needs it in CSV format, you're
gonna have to send another request to the server to produce the
same data, convert into CSV or XLS format and let user download it.
Of course, if use doesn't want to download, you don't have to
go to the server, at least for CSV format. You can convert the same
data that used plot the chart to convert to CSV.
    Am I missing something here?

  • Line Chart Formatting in HFR

I am using Financial Reporting for HFM and need a few line charts. I have to display the values of the respective points on the line chart which I did using the display point values checkbox in the Format Chart. However, the values are in $ or % and those prefixes ($, % etc) are not showing up on chart values(just displaying numbers which are rounded without any decimal places). I have formatted the grid where the chart is fetching its data but that is not helping. Anyone has any idea, how this can be done. Please help.

  • Web I line chart formatting

hi all, I am trying all my best for webI line chart formatting but I don't see much options, quick question is there any button or tool box for formatting  WebI line chart except properties tab???
and my requirement is, usually when i turn  table to line chart by default  X-axis will be lower side and Y-axis will start from left end of X-axis and stand perpendicular to it. But what I need is X-axis should remain same but Y-axis should start from right end of x-axis.
In short and clear Point of intersection of X and Y axis is left end of x-axis but I need point of intersection should be right end of X-axis line. are there any formatting tips???

    Hi,
    Follow the below steps.
    1) Create a dummy measure variable with name  ' (Comma) and formula value is =0. (Variable name is ' because if you put any other name that will come  in the Legend and its a dummy objects)
2)Select the bar and line graph and put the dummy variable in the Y axis and Y axis value in the Z axis.
    3) After that no value  will show in the Y axis and your Z axis value show the line graph.
    Hope this will help you.
    Thanks,

  • How can I arrange bookmarks in a grid format instead of a vertical line?

Windows has a IE Favorites folder, containing favorite websites, and all of these favorite website folders and links can be viewed in a grid format (spread horizontally and vertically). Firefox Bookmarks: I can only get to display in a very long vertical line. Is there an internal file folder containing all of my Firefox Bookmarks? And if so, can I display them in a grid? Thx.

Sorry, no there is no way to arrange or view bookmarks in multiple columns or a grid built into Firefox.
Bookmarks aren't stored in a folder in Windows like with IE, they are stored in a database file named '''places.sqlite''', along with browsing history and downloads history.
There have been a couple of different extensions available over the years that did display bookmarks in multiple columns, but those extensions were short lived and never were really finished before the developer lost interest and stopped working on them.
Suggestion - folders within folders will spread out to the right, somewhat in a "columns fashion" across the screen. But with the current placement of the bookmarks button I don't know how well that would work; I haven't even tried it out. Personally, I have used the Bookmarks Sidebar for viewing my bookmarks since I started using Firefox in 2002.

  • Line Chart - date format

    Hi,
    i have some troubles with a "normal" line-chart. (graphType="LINE_VERT_ABS")
The data is something like that:
    xvalue           yvalue
    01.01.2006     100
    02.01.2006     101
    03.01.2006     102
    04.01.2006     101
    01.02.2006     102
    02.02.2006     102
    03.02.2006     101
    01.03.2006     100
    02.03.2006     99
    03.03.2006     101
    I define the chart with:
    groups="xvalue" dataValues="yvalue"
    worked fine, BUT:
I had to change the date-format from dd.mm.yyyy to "only" mm/yy.
Now just 1 yvalue of every xvalue-group is displayed - the chart has only the following points:
    xvalue          yvalue
    01/06          100
    02/06          102
    03/06          100
Does anybody know a solution where every point is shown just with the other date-format?

Change your default system date format.

    Thanks

Here is a perfect example of what I cannot decipher:
    http://flex.amcharts.com/examples/chart_with_multiple_value_axes
^ You can even see the source code here. I believe they call it a "chart cursor".
Any idea what the mouse is doing, and how to get that line into a standard FLEX Linechart?
I see this a lot but have no idea what it's called....

  • Line chart with mutiple value formats

    Hi,
I have a chart built with Crystal Reports 2008 with two column lines.  One of the lines represents Quantity and the other line represents Percentage.  I set two Y axis (Y1 for Quantity line and Y2 for Percentage) for the two lines.  My problem is that when I set one of the lines' value format as Percentage, value format of both lines become percentage.  I cannot set one of the line value formats as percentage and the other one as number.  Would you please advise how I can set one of the line's value format on the chart as numbers and the other one as percentage?
    Thanks,
    Al

    Hello Al,
How exactly are you setting one of the lines' value format as Percentage?
And what are you setting it to be a percentage of? or are you trying to dsiaply one series data labels with a percentage symbol?

  • CRXIR2 - A chart with horizontal and vertical lines?

    Good morning,
Is it possible to create a chart with horizontal and vertical lines?
I have a chart where the Y-Axis show the percentage and the X-Axis shows a timeline.
The horizontal line shows the percentage for the points in time.
Now I would like to mark some special points in time on the X-Axis with a straight vertical line.
Is there a way to do that?
Thank you very much in advance
    Christoph

    Hello Usama,
unfortunatelly I couldn't find that that feature in the basic chart features.
Also the webpage www.3DGraphics.com doesn't exist and I had no luck to google for 3DGraphics.
It's a little strange, that it seems to be possible to draw one additional horizontal line with the basic features, but no additional vertical line.
    for example.
If the main chart would be y=3x+1
It seems to be possible to draw e.g. y=5
But I see no chance to draw x=5
In addition, to make it a little more complicated, I would need to have that dynamically, based on the values of a sql-statement.
    thx

  • Line chart and vertical line repeats according period

    Hej,
I have line chart and horizontal axis displays many months, thus is possible to vertical line from horizontal axis be displayed after years period and be color diferent?? My example, start displays January 2007,......finish December2007->DISPLAY VERTICAL LINE as LONG TICK, start January2008....and so on... is possible to set such repeater for line chart...thank for response.

    Hi 1234alex,
According to your description, you want to create a non-vertical target line in top of bar chart to show different target.
In Reporting Services, it’s impossible to create a non-vertical target line in top of bar chart. Because StripLines can only return a vertical target line even we put expression to make it dynamically . In this scenario, we can show the target line as values
and use switch() function to specify different values based on different category. Then we just need to change the chart type for that series only. However, it only support horizontal line chart type in Reporting Services, so we suggest you use column chart
instead of bar chart. Please refer to detail steps below:
    1. On Chart Data region, set an expression looks like:
         =switch(Fields!month.value=”A”,”4”,
         Fields!month.value=”B”,”8”,
         Fields!month.value=”C”,”2”,
         Fields!month.value=”D”,”5”)
    2. Right click expression in Chart Data region, choose Change Chart type, select a line chart.
    3. Click Preview, the results look like:
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
