Formerly working backup CC installation shows "Download Error"

I just swapped my two workstations, moving the more powerful one to my main office and putting my older, less powerful one in a remote studio. Both had a fully working CC/2014 installation.
The older system is fine even after some system cleanup and changes, but the new system is now showing a "Download Error" message in the CC Apps panel. It does not appear to be any of the numbered errors; it simply says those two words and try again/contact customer support.
What is wrong and how do I reestablish the Apps and updating facility for this system?

    I subscribed to Creative Cloud in December 2012 and have been trying to install the applications, but the "Installation Failed" through the Adobe Application Manager. (see screenshot)
    Here is a line from my log file:
    01/08/13 11:08:48:346 | [WARN] |  | ASU | PDApp | DownloadError |  |  | 6120 | Download Error has come with GDE Error type - -7 and error code - 401
    I tried searching for the same error code in the "knowledge base" but couldn't locate any.
    I am on a Windows 7 (x64) machine. I also have CS5.5 installed.
    Anyone have this problem? Please help or point me in the right direction if you can. Thanks!

       I tried the above steps, with no luck.  I have admin rights on both laptop and desktop I'm trying to install to.  I have updated my AAM on both machines with no issue (when using the direct link above). But when I click the 'Try' link to download an application, it shows the scrolling status bar for a few seconds, then  "Installation Failed"  'Download error. Press Retry to try again or contact customer support. (-7)'   Retry only produces same results.
    Both machines are running Win 7 Pro - SP1 64bit
         (laptop - 16 GB RAM & Core i7-2760QM 2.40 GHz processor)
         (desktop - 8 GB RAM & Xeon W3520 2.67GHz processor)
    I am running in a corporate setting with I'm sure all sorts of Firewall protection etc...
    I'm planning on asking for a CC membership, but wanted to check out the new features first....

    The Apps Application of my of my Creative Cloud Desktop only shows "Download Error" and asks to either reload application (which does not work) or to contact customer support.   • 502 error "Installation Failed  Download error.

    I keep getting a 502 error "Installation Failed  Download error. Unable to reach Adobe Servers." Managed after a number of tries to get Photoshop and Illustrator 2014 to download but still getting this message with the other 2014 downloads I want to make.

    All downloaded successfully after a while.
    Cannot think how it could have been firewall related when the error message would appear after the download had started and after a number of tries the software would download? As my message states Photoshop and Illustrator came down after number of tries the rest took much longer.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud App does not show downloaded apps and shows "download error"

    I am not a full paying member just yet, and have been using Photoshop on trial for my graphic design courses. With the app, instead of showing me that my 30 day trial is over, I get a download error and contact customer support message. I have completely deleted and redownloaded the Creative Cloud App twice already, but am not sure how to fix this problem so I am still unable to download my free trials before purchase.
    How can I fix this problem?

    To reset the iTunes Store cache:
    Click on the Edit menu > Preferences > Advanced tab
    Next to "Reset iTunes Store cache", click the "Reset cache" button

  • NFC works sometimes and keeps showing read error messages

    I have just bought a brand new Sony Xperia Z3 Dual (D6633), but I am having a little boring problem. When I pair my smartband or any other equipment trough NFC it just works after some attempts and keeps showing read error messages every time. It seems to me that is a software issue as it works sometimes. How should I proceed?

    Unfortunattely it didn't work, as our credit cards in Brasil don't have NFC technology.
    I will try to reset my phone to factory defaults as soon as Lollipop is launched so I reinstall my apps just one time.
    If I fix with the firmware update I´ll let you know. If this issue persist I will take to Sony Support Service in my city.

    I have a macbook pro 2010 & extra storage and drive space
    I don't know what the link is between the new creative cloud update in january and the loss of my apps  & downloading error after that update, to the desktop window?
    Before that I hadn't had any trouble with the apps window..all the other parts are syncing and seem fine?
    I uninstalled & reinstalled the creative cloud desktop
    I installed the yosemite os x to see if the new interface was an issue...all was fine with the yosemite install
    I have checked for the answer in the troubleshooting guide
    nothing seems to apply at this point...
    didn't know if anyone else was having the same difficulty?

  • Creative Cloud Desktop App Shows Download Error

    I installed the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app.  When I click Install Adobe Apps I get an error message that says, "Download Error.  Press Retry to try again or contact customer support."  Pressing the Reload Applications button just repeats the same error.  I disabled my antivirus, Windows firewall, bypassed my Cisco firewall and nothing changes.  No error code number is given.
    I'm running Windows 7 Pro, SP1, 32bit, 4Gb memory.

    Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the gs.apple.com server on ports 80 or 443. This may be because out-of-date or incorrectly configured security or firewall software is interfering, or due to your Internet proxy settings. If you are using a proxy, try without using one or with a known-good network.
    Daiya has given you some good advice, wait until 4.1 is released, then update your phone.

  • JDBC Receiver doesn't work (and doesn't show any error msg)

    I'm now trying to test a file to JDBC scenario. After many msgs sent, I'm checking at sxmb_moni and the file sender is ok, the msg mapping is ok, and the JDBC receiver is ok - the status is "processed successfully".
    But... in my database (Oracle9i), the row I tried to insert is not there. No error message and no data inserted in database... I read many posts here about the constring, and I have already tried with all constrings suggested... Can anyone suggest me what can I do to try to discover what is wrong?

    I found it at RWB (after mutch work!
    The path is not exactly the same as yours, I think because de WAS version (ours is 7.00), but i find the problem in the audit log.

  • Tv show download error in itunes on my ipad

    i emailed apple they said delete the video and then redownload it. mmmm sounds simple but do you think i can work out how to delete it from itunes?!  i have looked at threads and tried the swipe for delete button that didnt work, I tried signing out and shutting down the ipad that still didnt work. I even tried someones suggestion of hitting the pause button to force it to restart again.... didnt work. its doing my head! in any ideas?  i have emailed apple waiting on a response back from them but any help in the mean tim would be greatly appreciated :)

    No idea, absent some idea of what exactly you were doing to "get a tv show ..... on my iPad".
    The procedures described in your User's Guide will work for most. Have you tried them?
