Forms 11gR2 & Identity Management?

Has anyone installed Forms 11g R2 with Identity Management? Does anyone have some good instructions (installers, versions, scripts, etc) for Identity Management in preperation for a Forms R2 installation?
We keep running into issues trying to get Identity Management (IDM,OAM,SOA) installed that we are now considering just staying on 10g with SSO.

If you install the versions deemed certified with FMw11R2 prior to installing FMw, the integration will be easier as the FMw installer will prompt you for the necessary info during the process. Either way, refer to the product documentation for the details. The doc includes info about which versions of IM are supported for use with this FMw release. Understand that these versions may not be compatible with other products which you may be using, so review and choose carefully.

Strongly consider if you really need to do the modification as you will need to redo it every time you do an upgrade that includes a new war (most do).

How to view the MissingFields Form in Sun Identity Manager

Hi All,
In the Tabbed User Form [in the Sun Identity Manager's administrative interface], there's this tab called Attributes. This is referring to a form called MissingFields. I want to read this form and understand it's working logic. But I am not able to find out as to where's it stored.
Help me.

I believe this is not a real form but a special built-in form or something.
Because when I open the Tabbed User Form in BPE and try to open the reference to MissingFields I get an error.

Identity Management 8.0 - SAP Provisioning Forms UI display

Hi guys!
I'm trying to setup a new environment with SAP Identity Management 8.0, using the standard SAP Provisioning Framework.
I've already followed all install guide and configuration steps, but the Web forms for default provisioning tasks are not appearing on the Self Service tab or Manage tab. I've already tried to modify the forms to let anonymous and everyone to execute the form, but no clue.
The tabs appears OK, but no tasks are available to choose
We are using the lastest patches available until today.
Any help would be appreciated.

Please go to the forms and right click over the Identity folder.
The option Show Folder in User Interface should be selected
If this doesn't help please try restarting the JMX and check your Datasource.

You can do this trick:
1) Go to "Deployment Manager" in the Web Console, and open the EXPORT applet
2) Export the User Defined Fields from the USR form. You don't need any dependence for this.
3) Open the generated XML with a text editor.
3) Search for the <SDK_SCHEMA> tag
This tag contains the OIM schema name, wich shoud be your OIM database user.

AppServer: Weblogic 10.3.5 (64 bit)
We are upgrading oim 9.1 to oim 11.1.1.5, followed the tasks explained in the link (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/upgrade.1111/e10129/upgrade_oim.htm#CACGDIEJ) and completed till task 12 (13.14 Task 12: Use Upgrade Assistant to Upgrade Oracle Identity Manager Middle Tier). Installing forms 11gr2 services on windows server 2008 r2 64 bit

hello,
I successfully installed on windows 7 64 bit my developer forms & reports 11gR2 with weblogic 10.3.5 , jdk 1.6.0_+.
Now i want to install in it in windows server 2008 R2 64bit, to deploy the application i created as a test.
Question.
1. Can I used the same installation set up , step, procedure as the development mode by only changing the installation mode to production mode in windows 2008R2?
1.1 Do I need to create domain first after install the weblogic or it is like the development mode that the FRM_installation will create its classic domain?
2. Can I used it without the fusion middleware?

The only significant difference between the Dev and Deploy installation is the that in the Dev install type the Forms and Reports Servlets are deployed into the Admin server Managed server rather than creating a unique one for each. For local testing purposes, this should be sufficient for most cases. If on the other hand you need a full installation (Deployment), I would recommend that you choose this option, but be sure to also include the Builders. The Builders are available for both install types. I would not recommend attempting to have both install types installed together although it likely can be done. Having both installed would likely create confusion and difficulty during troubleshooting.
Important point. If you choose the Deployment option and include the Builders during that installation, you do not need to start everything in order to run a form. All that is needed is WLS_FORMS. All other processes can be stopped if system resources is a concern. For an actual production deployment, it is recommended that you route end-user requests through HTTP Server, but this is not required unless you plan to use SSO or other feature that is managed through HTTP Server.

Problem Configuring Identity Management in OC4J

I have a problem connecting my OC4J to oracle internet directory. I have installed Oracle Identity Management and have defined a few users.
When I go to:
Oc4J Page->Administration->Security->Identity Management and click configure to configure my OID, I will have a form to fill out:
I think I have entered my server correctly(nfs_server.com) and port 389 for non-SSL but I really don't know what to fill in : 'Oracle Internet Directory User DN'
Oracle BC4J document, b28957, says that the user here should be the member of iASAdmins.
cn=iASAdmins,cn=Groups,cn=OracleContext,dc=nfs_server,dc=com
I have added this entry in uniquemember:
cn=farbd,cn=users,dc=nfs_server,dc=com
I can log on to Oracle Directory Manager by this username(farbd).

but I can't log here: Oc4J Page->Administration->Security->Identity Management -> configure
it returns :

This option is case and format sensitive
try with cn=orcladmin here. If it works then surely the problem is with the entry of this option's value.
Make sure the realm info. of context is being entered correctly
Through ODM tool or OIDDAS find out the complete path,copy and paste it there.

How to programmatically catch the activeSync errors in identity manager 8.1

May I know how can I catch the errors thrown by activeSync during create/update/delete process and even errors before the activeSync process reaches to create/update/delete workflows (like errors when the user account is locked, it does not reach the update workflow) pro-grammatically and throw to notification process such as email.

I do this in 7.1 by using a workflow for my active sync processes. I'm sure it will be similar in 8.1. If you use a workflow rather than an input form you can set up a transition at top level of the workflow. This transition is used as an error checker which can move the workflow to an error handler section. The error handler can then do stuff like send out notices etc.
Something like this pseudo code:

Identity Management Install: 11g - start Oracle Internet Directory failed

I have been struggling for the last couple of days with this installation, I have tried to install Identity Management (6 times) on a fresh VM with an install of Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition - SP2 with 4GB RAM. In the server, there is also installed an Oracle database 11g.
No matter what I do, the installation always fails while trying to start Oracle Internet Directory, I need this installation in order to configure SSO with Forms and Reports.
I have also tried to start the services with opmnctl startall, but it only starts EMAGENT.

Is it possible to access Identity Manager Account Policy attributes?

Has anyone used attributes to do with checking if a users password has expired on a particular date and has been set not to allow a reset. I want to create a process that creates a bunch of users who want access to a resource for a short time period. I then want to create a process that checks and removes the accounts that have expired.
I thought maybe I could do this by accessing the settings somehow in the Default Identity Manager Account Policy to do with password expirey. I would like to do this using a workflow or a form.

Where is this set? Is this in the new role manager by any chance? I have created some roles and assgned resources in IDM 8 but can't find any reference to settings for access limitation time periods.
