Forms 6i Developers Guide

Hi AnyOne,
Can you help me by sending the Forms 6i Developer's Guide?? I am trying to get familiar with Hierarchical trees.
Thanks in Advance.
-Parmy

Thanks for your reply Balaji,
Infact I have implemented the Hierarchical Tree-View with most difficulty with Forms 4.5 But I heard that Forms 6 onwards, it provides Hierarchical Tree itself as a item. I need to know more about it. Can you ( or any one ) send the Developer's Guide for Forms 6 or (6i) or any version that supports Hierarchical Tree as an item. Please help me.
Thanks again,
-Parmy

    Hi,
Is there any document available which discusses about reports development for Oracle Applications 11i?.
I found developers guide which guides us in Forms and PL/SQL Development.
If there are individual documents for the above three, it would be helpful.

  • MDO Forms workflow in Guided Procedures...

    Hi,
Could someone please tell me what does "MDO Forms workflow in Guided Procedures" means?
I know about Guided Procedures. But my functional specification says to implement "MDO Forms workflow in Guided Procedures".Could someone please help me out with this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Agasthi.

    Dear Alan,
Yes i have generated the form's submit URL... It works fine when the pdf is saved in the users desktop and upon clicking the submit button it kicks of a Process with a Visual Approval callable object..
However my requirement is that the Adobe form be submitted online during GP runtime.. The process is initiated by the User in the portal (not offline) who wants to put in a request. When the user initiates a process an Adobe form is opened to him in which he fills in his request. This request is then <b>forwarded for Approval</b>.. After Approval a digital signature need to be attached to the document and further on it needs to be sent out to other User Groups.. In case the request is <b>rejected</b> then the control goes back to the requestor who can either modify his request and send it again for approval or simply delete the request.. Throughout the whole process Print of the request can be taken at any time. Considering the requirements of Print & Digital signature i think using Adobe would be the way to go.. What do you think about implementing such a requirement in GP with Adobe UIs? Is it the right way of going about it?
Quite an interesting nut to crack.. Ain't it ??
    Cheers
    Nitesh

  • Possible Error in Tutorial for Forms/4GL Developers 10g Release 3 (10.1.3)?

I am just running through the above mentioned tutorial and it seems to me there is an
error on page 56 in the tutorial, in the chapter Exposing Linked Views in an Application Module
It states you have to put the following in the where clause:
    (:Bind_UserId = ServiceRequest.CREATED_BY OR :Bind_UserId =
    ServiceRequest.ASSIGNED_TO)
However it didn't work, but I saw my entity object was named ServiceRequests (with an s) thus the following worked:
    (:Bind_UserId = ServiceRequests.CREATED_BY OR :Bind_UserId =
    ServiceRequests.ASSIGNED_TO)
Can someone verify if it's me or the tutorial that has the error ?
    Gustaf

    Hi,
This is not the right forum to discuss Forms/4GL Developers. Please try the ADF or general App Server forums for this question.

  • Netweaver Developers Guide

    Hi,
is there a option to download the Netweaver Developers Guide as a PDF File ?
    Thanks
    Ingo Hilgefort

    Hi,
you can download or order the SAP NetWeaver Library. for offline use. The library contains most of the information linked to from the Developer's Guide in SDN. You can find the information in this section:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/8b/0b674240449c60e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
As a customer you can download the SAP NetWeaver Library directly in the Software Download Center of the SAP Support Portal (http://service.sap.com/swdc) by searching for the Library via its material number. Alternatively you can order a copy in the SAP Knowledge Shop. (http://www.sap.com/company/shop).

Found today that the more upto date version available from Metalink has this extra info (I am running CU version of framework)
    Guide is available as Note:269138.1
Oracle Application Framework Developer's Guide Release 11.5.10 RUP4

Not sure whether you are pointing out an issue or having a confusion?
Well, whatever you see in PDF version on metalink is same as the Jdev dev guide provided with the Jdev patch with OA extension. You probably might be looking at the wrong place. Check the page JDEV_INSTALL_DIR/jdevdoc/WebHelp/devguide/bus/bus_java.htm#plsql
