Forms come as xml files and wont post as email!

I have created several forms for use and sent it to people. But the forms pop up as as xml extension file in page that looks like a regular email format without a send button. It says that the form is attached as an xml file, but it will not even submit, and there is no direction as to what to do next.
I tested these myself, and this is what comes up now even on my on PC. What's the solution to this?

Can you post the form to [email protected] so I can have a look at it..

We are trying to access the Create Deployment method stated below

We have uploaded the Package in the blob and browsing the configuration file. We have checked trying to upload manually the package and config file in Azure portal and its working
fine.

I have a small requirement here.....
I have a java program which reads a xml file.
Now i have stored the contents of that file in to a java object.
I want a sample code now which would take theabove mentioned java object as an input ,create a xml file and write these entries in to the file.

Hmmm. There is nothing special about an XML file to any other file. The data is simply formatted in a certain way. So to write an XML file, it is no different to writing any other form of file in Java (assuming you know the structure of the xml format to write - which you should)
If you don't know how to write files using Java I would suggest using the Java Tutorial found on java.sun.com and do some reading up about I/O since this is fairly fundamental.

Try opening the problem files using a text editor or file viewer to see what the first few bytes contain. All valid FM binary files for FM 11 will contain <MakerFile 11.0> in the first bytes of the file.
When updating books, it's sometimes better to just to create a new book file and add the files to that.
When renaming files in a book, changes at the system level will break any links/cross-references between files, so it's always best to use the Rename option in the Book file to change FM file names. This will maintain the correct linkages.

Reading XML file and skip certain elements/attributes??

Suppose I have a XML file looking like this:

In my Java application I want to read this XML file and print it on the screen (including all tags etc). So far, so good. BUT, if I want to skip certain elements, i.e. all information about the dvd 'X-Men', how am I supposed to do this? In other words, I would like my app to skip reading all information about X-Men and continue with the next <dvd>... </dvd> tag. Is this possible?

A possibility that comes to mind is to create an XSLT script to do whatever it is you want - and call it from inside the program. The XSLT script can be stashed inside your .jar file by using getClass().getClassLoader().getResource("...")

Reading data From XML file and setting into ViewObject to Pouplate ADF UI

Hi,
I have following requirement.
I would like to read data from XML file and populate the data in ViewObject so that the data can be displayed in the ADF UI.
Also when user modifies the data in the ADF UI, it should be modified back into to ViewObject.
Here is an example - XML file contains Book Title and Author. I would like to read Book Title and Author from XML file and set it into ViewObject Attribute and then display Book title and Author in ADF UI page. Also when user modifies Book title and Author, I would like to store it back in View Object.
Please help me with this requirement and let me know if any solution exist in ADF, for populating the ADF UI screen fields with external XML file data.

Xml file and htmlText box doesn't work

Hi,
i have a action script that read a xml file and put the content of this file in a
htmltext box, but when come inside the xml file a code like this"Test" the box (htmltext) appears empty.
my code

The variable "myTextos" load the content from xml ...but it doesn't appears in my htmltext box
How can i fix this?
obs: When i erase the tag in xml the variable "myTextos" appears correctly in my htmltext box.

Can anyone help??? i want to read an XML file, and after reading the file, store certain data into a XL speadsheet. i am new to all this and dont know where to start. you will either have to use a third party toolkit or develop your own for this purpose. In case you develop your own, please be kind to share it with me ;)
I am not sure about the free ones. But Sitraka is know for developing such kits. For instance you may use sitraka's JClass which will be more then what you need. I guess JClass is free for evaluation, but you have to pay them after that.

Read in XML file and spit out specific element

Hi all i wonder if someone could give me a hand. I've got some code (below) which reads in an xml file and spits out the contents of the file. Thats fine and dandy, however what i want to be able to do is specify which element to spit out, which i'm not sure how to do. So say i had the following xml file:

Hi, extract data from xml file and insert into another exiting xml file

i am searching code to extract data from xml file and insert into another exiting xml file by a java program. I understood it is easy to extract data from a xml file, and how ever without creating another xml file. We want to insert the extracted data into another exiting xml file. Suggestions?
1st xml file which has two lines(text1.xml)

You can download into XML format. However, it's not sure about uploading. Refer to the program 'SF_XSF_DEMO'.
In 4.7 Enterprise, other have seen this utlity which is completey missing in 4.6c. There is functionality to downlaod a complete form or only a particular node. (Utilities -> Download form). It will create a XML file and save it in the hard disk.
Feel free to revert back.
