Forms component status not showing 'Up'

10gR2 BI, forms and reports, on Solaris 10. After starting up AS via Application Server Control, the Forms status shows 'Down', yet I can log into our forms app. The status seems to only change to 'Up' after the first login/access. Is this normal behavior? Be nice if all the components that are truly up and available show 'Up'.

This is normal behaviour, since the application only loads after the first login (not on startup).

Sometimes JavaFX form (BorderPane) does not show correctly

We have a problem with a JavaFX application running on Java 7. Sometimes a form (BorderPane) does not show correctly – it seems to be transparent (i.e. content previously shown at the same place is still visible). Controls seem to be present and respond to events – e.g. we can close the form by blindly clicking the appropriate button. Once the issue happens it is persistent, i.e. next time we open the form, it behaves the same.
We have no reproducible scenario leading to the issue. It just happens here and there – we have not been able to identify any pattern yet.
Additional information:
the form (BorderPane) is loaded during application start-up but it is not shown initially,
to show the form we remove previous contents from a StackPane and add the form instead,
to hide the form we do the reverse.
Do you have any ideas how to diagnose the problem? Where to look first? What kind of diagnostic code could we put in the application that would help us?

I am unaware of any such issue being reported previously.
Without a reproducible test case, you are unlikely to get much assistance.
Other than the creation of a minimal test case which reproduces the issue, I could not even advise how you might go about diagnosing and fixing your issue.
There were many bug fixes implemented for Java 8.
I advise you to upgrade your test environment to the latest Java early access release (currently Java 8u40) and test to verify if your issue replicates in that version.
If the issue still reproduces, create a bug report which includes your test case and full environment details.

ChARM - Additional logical component does not show up in tasklist

the Area is Change Control Management in SolMan with EhP1
Situation:
- SOLMAN_SETUP and configuration for ChARM (number ranges etc.)
- two transport routes: A and B with DEV, QAS, PPRD, PRD
- all systems are maintained in SMSY (PPRD, PRD are virtual)
- two logical components: logA, logB
- one project in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN
-- system landscape - systems are maintained
-- img projects are created
-> Change Request -> Show tasklist
ONLY Systems from logA are available. Creation of transport requests for logA are fine.
Through different errors and changes logB was changed after creating tasklist for logA.
Has anyone an idea why the systems from logB are not in the tasklist?

You mean if the service pack is different? I doubt that this would result in the SWCV not showing up in sproxy.

Component Status not updating since upgrade from SCCM2012 SP1 CU3 to SCCM2012 R2

Since upgrading to SCCM2012 R2 three days ago, in the Configuration Manager console when we go to Monitoring > System Status > Component Status and view the status messages for any component, there are no entries since the time of our upgrade. All
components are this way.
I've checked the logs and information is flowing through them and everything else seems to be running smoothly, but there are no updates to items in Component Status. There was only one warning in the R2 prereq checker, the ConfigMgrPrereq.log shows:

I have confirmed via ADUC and ADSIEdit that the primary site server computer account does have full control over the System Management container.
We are running a single site server with separately hosted site database server and several remote distribution point site systems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Problem solved!
I was looking in the statmgr.log file and spotted an error about a bad SQL transaction. Some searching on this lead me to this Microsoft KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/KB/884123. Even though it is for SMS2003 it lead me to check the
\inboxes\statmgr.box\retry\ folder and sure enough there were ~5100 .sql files waiting. As per the instructions in the document, I stopped the SMS_EXECUTIVE service, deleted the oldest .sql file and then restarted the service. The file count in
the \Retry\ folder is dropping and status messages are flowing. I now just have to wait for the 6 days of status messages to process.

Forms Web - Icons not showing up

Hello,
I'm running a form on the web, and I have several iconic buttons. The Oracle Developer 2000 book says that icon image files must be in .gif format, and must reside in the same directory as the html page. So I converted my icons to .gif and placed in the required folder.
On the icon property for each button, I am not specifying a path, just the filename with no extension.
The icon is not showing up. I tried setting the icon filename via set_item_property(button_name, icon_filename, filename)
ON_NEW_BLOCK_INSTANCE and placing the path to where the html file is located. The icon will not show up.

In migrated IP form People picker not showing value

i have a MOSS 2007 IP form migrated to SP 2013. I need to add a people picker control instead of dropdown. The newly added picker picker is showing up on the form but its value is not showing.
It shows up when i change the value in existing people picker control(since IP form submits to locate the new user). so basically people picker is not able to resolve the person entry in first go.
What can be done to show the value without change in the infopath xml structure( cant even migrate it to 2013 IP)

For your issue, you can migrate InfoPath 2007 form to InfoPath 2013 form as the steps of following blog and then you can add new people picker control.

1099 forms in SAP - not showing all the data

Hello ,
I exceuted RFIDYYWT , it created the 1099 MISC form . However , some details are not showing up on the form like Payer's details , Fed ID number .
It is only showing me, Recipients name and adress details and ID number.
Would it be helpful if an ABAP'er would look into this.
Please let me know , I am doing this for the first time .

Form results does not show column headers

I created a form and when I enter info and then view the results, the results page does not show column headers. How do I correct this?

I just found out that the engineered version (10g) is also quite strange:

Is it not recommended to create views with the data modeler?

Component parameters not showing

Hi - I have a series of components I've written in AS3 that work fine in CS3 & CS4. In the Flash CS5 authoring environment, the parameters are not visible in the Component Parameters section of the Property Inspector. The really strange thing is that if I create a .fla in CS4 with the same components on the stage, and then open that doc in Flash CS5, the parameters are visible and work.
Any ideas for how to fix this? What changed in CS5 to make them not work?
Notes:
I've rebuilt the .swc files in CS5 - doesn't fix it
I created an .mxp file for the components and installed with Adobe Extension Manager CS5 - doesn't fix it
The standard components that come with CS5 work fine
My components work fine other than not being able to access the parameters
Any help would be appreciated.

I think there are several problems going on in the change from CS4 to CS5 with regard to components. But I did find a fix to the problem I had, which is that in components that I built myself, inspectable parameters that worked fine in CS4 did not show up in CS5 (note that parameters moved their location in CS5 - in CS4 they were visible in the Component Inspector panel, in CS5 they accessible in the Properties panel).My components still worked, and were visible in the Components panel, just no parameters.
Here's the solution. When coding a component, you define your inspectable parameters in some code like this:

[Inspectable (name = "controller", variable = "controller", type = "String", enumeration="arduino,make,xbee,osculator,inputSource", defaultValue="arduino")]
Elsewhere in the code, you define your getter and setter functions:

Based on the examples I had seen when I first started creating components, I put the definition right at the beginning of my class definition, and my getters/setters at the end. Well, in CS5, this approach does not work. To make inspectable parameters work, the definition and getter/setters functions must be together in the code! I put mine right at the end of the class. Like this:

Component palette not showing up for BPEL process

When I am using the ".bpel" file, the component palette does not show up even though I click View Component palette.
I have used the component palette only once. After that I am not able to view it. I tried restarting the IDE but it would'nt work.

does the component palette show for other files (e.g. JSP)? Make sure the BPEL designer is open and the press ctrl+sift+P. Make sure the palette isn't hidden by another palette (in which case it shows as a tab)

UI Component AddChild Not Showing Up?

I have a code here where I read in the information from an XML file, and try to make shapes by plotting them to the screen. The problem is, it looks like it knows where each coordinate each shape goes, it is not showing up on the screen. What is even interesting is that it even knows that the shape and the canvas exists. Here is the output:

Novatel MiFi WWAN status not showing up

Hi,
I got the Novatel MiFi running in modem mode using the Novatel drivers. So far so good. But when I click the "Show WWAN Status in Menu Bar" checkbox, nothing happens. Nothing appears in the menu bar. Also the Apply button remains disabled - not sure that's as it should be.
But mainly, the WWAN status never shows in the menu bar.
Does anyone what know what I need to do to make it work? Are there some preferences I could delete? Other ideas?

By modem mode, do you mean wired using the USB port? If true, I would not expect it to show up as a wireless WAN connection. It would be a USB attached modem.

IPMP groups status not showing

Hi ALL,
I have 2 V880 nodes with SUN cluster3.1U3. In one node is not showing IPMP Group status.

scstat -i should show atleast one IPMP group on running the command. In your output, you are not seeing any IPMP group.
Udate with your ifconfig output.
