Forms' Language

hi,
i have this problem :
i need to show Forms messages in italian instead of english.
i have an application server and a database server both running on UNIX (aix).
this is the situation on DB
selecting from NLS_DATABASE_PARAMETERS :
NLS_CHARACTERSET = WE8MSWIN1252
NLS_LANGUAGE = AMERICAN
NLS_TERRITORY = AMERICA
and from NLS_INSTANCE_PARAMETERS :
NLS_LANGUAGE = ITALIAN
NLS_TERRITORY = ITALY
This is the setting of the ".env" file :
# Languages
NLS_LANG=ITALIAN_ITALY.WE8MSWIN1252
The environment variable $LANG on the Application Server is set to "it_IT"
i'm expecting, with these settings, to see Forms messages in italian, although they're still in english ... does anyone know why??
thanks in advance
fabio

Hi,
last time from installing Oracle Application Server I remember that there was an option to choose the language supplement files to be installed with the software. Forms by default shows English where it cannot find language files.

  • Form language for dunning

    I use the copy of F150_DUNN_01 for dunning printout.
    Is there any variable I can use to determine the language of the form?
    I believe it's coming from the communication language of the customer, so I could get in a PERFORM myself, but I'm sure it's available as a variable, however I cannot find it.
    It seems the print is triggered by FM PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE.
    Thanks in advance,
    Peter

    Hi Tomasz,
    Thanks for your answer.
    It seems for both FM there is an import parameter LANGUAGE, however in case od OPEN_FORM it's still the logon langauge, however for START_FORM it's already correct.
    I still couldn't find if this parameter is passed to the SAPScript. In the ABAP debugger LANGUAGE and 'rstxc-tdspras' is filled with the correct language, however in the FORM Debugger, there is no value assigned to these parameters.
    If I change from the FORM debugger to ABAP debugger, the value is shown correctly for rstxc-tdspras.
    I think I'll get it from the customer master with a PERFORM, it's easier.
    Thanks,
    Peter

  • Smart Form Language Print Problem

    Hi ,
    i want to ask that in PO smart form if i am taking print preview. then vendor & Shipping Address are not coming in print preview...another fields are coming like tele & Fax No these are store in numeric value but these name1 and street store in taiwan Lang..
    then data fetch from ARDC table but ARDC-name1 and ADRC-street store data in taiwan lang..so these two fields data is not displaying in taiwan lang during print preview but some other format is displaying like squrae shape.....
    so plz send me solution...ASAP...
    Thanks
    Amit Nigam

    Hi,
    Pick up the Address using user log on language instead of adrc-spras Or the language which user wants to display on the form.
    Alternatively u can also code the driver program in such a way so that, if the the sy-langu is EN pick the address in EN or pick the address in Taiwan language.
    ADRC-Nation is set in such case.
    Another solution is the master data for the vendor has to be first maintained in English and then international versions have to be maintained in various languages.
    Thanks,
    Rashmi

  • Purchasing Contract output - form language determination

    First, here's a shot outlook on the situation:
    The customer created a vendor master, with the communication language German. He then created a contract with that vendor and tried to print it, but the output form came out in German. I checked the message in the contract, and the language was RO, not DE.
    The customer then changed the communication language in the vendor master from german to romanian; then he deleted the message in the contract and recreated it, but the language for the form is still german. He told me that when he tries to recreate the message, the default language is still DE and he changes it to RO.
    Please tell me why the language is still defaulted to DE. I checked in customizing & the vendor master and I can't find the DE language anywhere.
    Thankyou in advance,
    Cosmin

    HI,
    What is the log in language for the user?.
    Usually when u need to print PO in different languages two output types are created one for each language .Check in previous what output type is used for german & RO..
    DID u check in this node
    MM>PUR>MESSAGES>OUTPUTCONTROL>MESSAGE TYPES>DEFINE MESSAGE TYPES FOR PO
    Double click on first,select NEU,THEN CLICK ON SEE THE DEFAULT LANGAUAGE.

    Hi,
                  According to your situation F140_ACC_STAT_01 is copied in to ZF140_ACC_STAT_1.from F140_ACC_STAT_01  conatins only the laguage german it is not contain language 'E' what u have to do is login in language E and copy the same contents and paragraphs and windows in the language 'D' layoutset in to Langauge 'E'.after that change the conversions of the text from german to 'E' after that save check and activate the script.Go to Nace and assign  ZF140_ACC_STAT_1 to your output type and also change your control program according to the language it has to pick the correspoing layout.
    After doing all the modifications transport the cts to quality client and then production.
    Reward points Please,

  • Adobe form language translation

    Hi All,
    In Adobe form, I found two issues while translating English form to Korean.
    1. Bold property is not working in print output.
    2. When I am trying to fax, the Korean form fax is not coming.
    Please kindly advise.
    Thanks,
    Anu

    Hi Anu,
    You need to check your (installed/used) fonts. Usually for bold, italic, etc a specific font is used. Sometimes they are not available, e.g. in cases when a word in bold doesn't mean something in a language.
    Please note that it might be on your printer that the font is missing and consequently substituted by the regular font, n the case the preview PDF would be just fine but the actual print output not.
    Cheers,
    Juergen

  • Smart Form Language and text style

    Hello Experts,
    I'm creating an Arabic SmartForm and I have 2 issues:
    1- when I create my own style and assign it to my form text, the font family has no effect, whatever font family I set in the style, the same text is display when running the smartform which means the font family I set has no effect and the system is taking a default font family which ddoes not fit requirements.
    2- when text is printed the characters spacing is taking most of the form space, I need to control the characters spacing within a single word, how can I do that? because if I decrease the font size, the text became not clear, if I increase the font size then I have no space enough.
    Please help me in these points as it seems SAP SmartForm tools are not very helpful when it comes to complex designed forms.
    Thanks in advance.

    > 1- when I create my own style and assign it to my form text, the font family has no effect, whatever font family I set in the style, the same text is display when running the smartform which means the font family I set has no effect and the system is taking a default font family which ddoes not fit requirements.
    you must tell SAP which fonts (family, size, style) are available on the printer, using SE73 transaction (system and printer fonts). You may use Font conversion button in SE73 to check the font is not converted to another family or another size.
    > 2- when text is printed the characters spacing is taking most of the form space, I need to control the characters spacing within a single word, how can I do that? because if I decrease the font size, the text became not clear, if I increase the font size then I have no space enough.
    If your printer font is a TrueType font, you can define a 7.5 points font instead of 8 for example, in SE73. Don't forget that SE73 unit of measure is decipoint, so it should be entered 075 (instead of 7.5).

  • Interactive form in Japanese language - baseline shift problem

    Dear All,
    I have a big problem with interactive forms. I developed a PO form for a Japanese company in English. When I transate it and use Kanji characters in the translation the baseline of these characters is about one line below where they should be. I use Arial fonts at the form development and the ADS changes it to MS Mincho or MSP Gothic. These two character set was also installed to the ADS font directory. Is it possible to use one form for the English and Japanese version of the form or I have to develop another form to the Japanese form and set the baseline of all the characters? Does anybody have experience in this issue? Has anybody developed PDF-based form in Japanese language?

         // Get localized name suitable for display to the user
         String locName = locales[i].getDisplayName();
         System.out.println(language+" "+country+" "+locName);
    local api is like below
    java.util
    Class Locale
    java.lang.Object
    java.util.Locale
    All Implemented Interfaces:
    Cloneable, Serializable
    public final class Locale
    extends Object
    implements Cloneable, Serializable
    A Locale object represents a specific geographical, political, or cultural region. An operation that requires a Locale to perform its task is called locale-sensitive and uses the Locale to tailor information for the user. For example, displaying a number is a locale-sensitive operation--the number should be formatted according to the customs/conventions of the user's native country, region, or culture.
    Create a Locale object using the constructors in this class:
    Locale(String language)
    Locale(String language, String country)
    Locale(String language, String country, String variant)
    The language argument is a valid ISO Language Code. These codes are the lower-case, two-letter codes as defined by ISO-639. You can find a full list of these codes at a number of sites, such as:
    http://www.ics.uci.edu/pub/ietf/http/related/iso639.txt
    The country argument is a valid ISO Country Code. These codes are the upper-case, two-letter codes as defined by ISO-3166. You can find a full list of these codes at a number of sites, such as:
    http://www.chemie.fu-berlin.de/diverse/doc/ISO_3166.html
    The variant argument is a vendor or browser-specific code. For example, use WIN for Windows, MAC for Macintosh, and POSIX for POSIX. Where there are two variants, separate them with an underscore, and put the most important one first. For example, a Traditional Spanish collation might construct a locale with parameters for language, country and variant as: "es", "ES", "Traditional_WIN".
    Because a Locale object is just an identifier for a region, no validity check is performed when you construct a Locale. If you want to see whether particular resources are available for the Locale you construct, you must query those resources. For example, ask the NumberFormat for the locales it supports using its getAvailableLocales method.
    Note: When you ask for a resource for a particular locale, you get back the best available match, not necessarily precisely what you asked for. For more information, look at ResourceBundle.
    The Locale class provides a number of convenient constants that you can use to create Locale objects for commonly used locales. For example, the following creates a Locale object for the United States:
    Locale.US
    Once you've created a Locale you can query it for information about itself. Use getCountry to get the ISO Country Code and getLanguage to get the ISO Language Code. You can use getDisplayCountry to get the name of the country suitable for displaying to the user. Similarly, you can use getDisplayLanguage to get the name of the language suitable for displaying to the user. Interestingly, the getDisplayXXX methods are themselves locale-sensitive and have two versions: one that uses the default locale and one that uses the locale specified as an argument.
    The Java 2 platform provides a number of classes that perform locale-sensitive operations. For example, the NumberFormat class formats numbers, currency, or percentages in a locale-sensitive manner. Classes such as NumberFormat have a number of convenience methods for creating a default object of that type. For example, the NumberFormat class provides these three convenience methods for creating a default NumberFormat object:
    NumberFormat.getInstance()
    NumberFormat.getCurrencyInstance()
    NumberFormat.getPercentInstance()
    These methods have two variants; one with an explicit locale and one without; the latter using the default locale.
    NumberFormat.getInstance(myLocale)
    NumberFormat.getCurrencyInstance(myLocale)
    NumberFormat.getPercentInstance(myLocale)
    A Locale is the mechanism for identifying the kind of object (NumberFormat) that you would like to get. The locale is just a mechanism for identifying objects, not a container for the objects themselves.
    Each class that performs locale-sensitive operations allows you to get all the available objects of that type. You can sift through these objects by language, country, or variant, and use the display names to present a menu to the user. For example, you can create a menu of all the collation objects suitable for a given language. Such classes must implement these three class methods:
    public static Locale[] getAvailableLocales()
    public static String getDisplayName(Locale objectLocale,
    Locale displayLocale)
    public static final String getDisplayName(Locale objectLocale)
    // getDisplayName will throw MissingResourceException if the locale
    // is not one of the available locales.

    1.1

    Method Detail
    getDefault
    public static Locale getDefault()Gets the current value of the default locale for this instance of the Java Virtual Machine.
    The Java Virtual Machine sets the default locale during startup based on the host environment. It is used by many locale-sensitive methods if no locale is explicitly specified. It can be changed using the setDefault method.
    Returns:
    the default locale for this instance of the Java Virtual Machine
    setDefault
    public static void setDefault(Locale newLocale)Sets the default locale for this instance of the Java Virtual Machine. This does not affect the host locale.
    If there is a security manager, its checkPermission method is called with a PropertyPermission("user.language", "write") permission before the default locale is changed.
    The Java Virtual Machine sets the default locale during startup based on the host environment. It is used by many locale-sensitive methods if no locale is explicitly specified.
    Since changing the default locale may affect many different areas of functionality, this method should only be used if the caller is prepared to reinitialize locale-sensitive code running within the same Java Virtual Machine, such as the user interface.
    Parameters:
    newLocale - the new default locale
    Throws:
    SecurityException - if a security manager exists and its checkPermission method doesn't allow the operation.
    NullPointerException - if newLocale is null
    See Also:
    SecurityManager.checkPermission(java.security.Permission), PropertyPermission
    getAvailableLocales
    public static Locale[] getAvailableLocales()Returns a list of all installed locales.
    getISOCountries
    public static String[] getISOCountries()Returns a list of all 2-letter country codes defined in ISO 3166. Can be used to create Locales.
    getISOLanguages
    public static String[] getISOLanguages()Returns a list of all 2-letter language codes defined in ISO 639. Can be used to create Locales. [NOTE: ISO 639 is not a stable standard-- some languages' codes have changed. The list this function returns includes both the new and the old codes for the languages whose codes have changed.]
    getLanguage
    public String getLanguage()Returns the language code for this locale, which will either be the empty string or a lowercase ISO 639 code.
    NOTE: ISO 639 is not a stable standard-- some languages' codes have changed. Locale's constructor recognizes both the new and the old codes for the languages whose codes have changed, but this function always returns the old code. If you want to check for a specific language whose code has changed, don't do
    if (locale.getLanguage().equals("he")
    Instead, do
    if (locale.getLanguage().equals(new Locale("he", "", "").getLanguage())

    getDisplayLanguage()
    getCountry
    public String getCountry()Returns the country/region code for this locale, which will either be the empty string or an upercase ISO 3166 2-letter code.
    See Also:
    getDisplayCountry()
    getVariant
    public String getVariant()Returns the variant code for this locale.
    See Also:
    getDisplayVariant()
    toString
    public final String toString()Getter for the programmatic name of the entire locale, with the language, country and variant separated by underbars. Language is always lower case, and country is always upper case. If the language is missing, the string will begin with an underbar. If both the language and country fields are missing, this function will return the empty string, even if the variant field is filled in (you can't have a locale with just a variant-- the variant must accompany a valid language or country code). Examples: "en", "de_DE", "_GB", "en_US_WIN", "de__POSIX", "fr__MAC"
    Overrides:
    toString in class Object
    Returns:
    a string representation of the object.
    See Also:
    getDisplayName()
    getISO3Language
    public String getISO3Language()
    throws MissingResourceExceptionReturns a three-letter abbreviation for this locale's language. If the locale doesn't specify a language, this will be the empty string. Otherwise, this will be a lowercase ISO 639-2/T language code. The ISO 639-2 language codes can be found on-line at ftp://dkuug.dk/i18n/iso-639-2.txt
    Throws:
    MissingResourceException - Throws MissingResourceException if the three-letter language abbreviation is not available for this locale.
    getISO3Country
    public String getISO3Country()
    throws MissingResourceExceptionReturns a three-letter abbreviation for this locale's country. If the locale doesn't specify a country, this will be tbe the empty string. Otherwise, this will be an uppercase ISO 3166 3-letter country code.
    Throws:
    MissingResourceException - Throws MissingResourceException if the three-letter country abbreviation is not available for this locale.
    getDisplayLanguage
    public final String getDisplayLanguage()Returns a name for the locale's language that is appropriate for display to the user. If possible, the name returned will be localized for the default locale. For example, if the locale is fr_FR and the default locale is en_US, getDisplayLanguage() will return "French"; if the locale is en_US and the default locale is fr_FR, getDisplayLanguage() will return "anglais". If the name returned cannot be localized for the default locale, (say, we don't have a Japanese name for Croatian), this function falls back on the English name, and uses the ISO code as a last-resort value. If the locale doesn't specify a language, this function returns the empty string.
    getDisplayLanguage
    public String getDisplayLanguage(Locale inLocale)Returns a name for the locale's language that is appropriate for display to the user. If possible, the name returned will be localized according to inLocale. For example, if the locale is fr_FR and inLocale is en_US, getDisplayLanguage() will return "French"; if the locale is en_US and inLocale is fr_FR, getDisplayLanguage() will return "anglais". If the name returned cannot be localized according to inLocale, (say, we don't have a Japanese name for Croatian), this function falls back on the default locale, on the English name, and finally on the ISO code as a last-resort value. If the locale doesn't specify a language, this function returns the empty string.
    getDisplayCountry
    public final String getDisplayCountry()Returns a name for the locale's country that is appropriate for display to the user. If possible, the name returned will be localized for the default locale. For example, if the locale is fr_FR and the default locale is en_US, getDisplayCountry() will return "France"; if the locale is en_US and the default locale is fr_FR, getDisplayLanguage() will return "Etats-Unis". If the name returned cannot be localized for the default locale, (say, we don't have a Japanese name for Croatia), this function falls back on the English name, and uses the ISO code as a last-resort value. If the locale doesn't specify a country, this function returns the empty string.
    getDisplayCountry
    public String getDisplayCountry(Locale inLocale)Returns a name for the locale's country that is appropriate for display to the user. If possible, the name returned will be localized according to inLocale. For example, if the locale is fr_FR and inLocale is en_US, getDisplayCountry() will return "France"; if the locale is en_US and inLocale is fr_FR, getDisplayLanguage() will return "Etats-Unis". (say, we don't have a Japanese name for Croatia), this function falls back on the default locale, on the English name, and finally on the ISO code as a last-resort value. If the locale doesn't specify a country, this function returns the empty string.
    getDisplayVariant
    public final String getDisplayVariant()Returns a name for the locale's variant code that is appropriate for display to the user. If possible, the name will be localized for the default locale. If the locale doesn't specify a variant code, this function returns the empty string.
    getDisplayVariant
    public String getDisplayVariant(Locale inLocale)Returns a name for the locale's variant code that is appropriate for display to the user. If possible, the name will be localized for inLocale. If the locale doesn't specify a variant code, this function returns the empty string.
    getDisplayName
    public final String getDisplayName()Returns a name for the locale that is appropriate for display to the user. This will be the values returned by getDisplayLanguage(), getDisplayCountry(), and getDisplayVariant() assembled into a single string. The display name will have one of the following forms:
    language (country, variant)
    language (country)
    language (variant)
    country (variant)
    language
    country
    variant
    depending on which fields are specified in the locale. If the language, country, and variant fields are all empty, this function returns the empty string.
    getDisplayName
    public String getDisplayName(Locale inLocale)Returns a name for the locale that is appropriate for display to the user. Locale[] locales = Locale.ENGLISH();ENGLISH is not a method in class Locale, so do not add the braces "( );".
    Also, the constant ENGLISH is not an array, but just a single Locale object.
    You didn't say what your problem was. What do you want to achieve with your program and what is it that you don't understand?

  • Sending an email, containing an adobe interactive form, as a step in a gp

    I'm trying to create a process in gp.
    the first step is an interactive form that is submitted to netweaver and starts the gp process.
    second should be another interactive form that the system sends out to an email account.
    wstarting the process by interactive form is not a problem, but sending out emails seems impossible to me :-P...
    i tried by myself, but couldn't work anything out.
    then i searched for a while in the sdn and found the following article by ginger gatling:
    Guided Procedures:  Passing email address for Interactive Form step
    it doesnt help either. dunno what version of netWeaver she was using, but at least in version 7.0 it's not working like she describes. also it's not possible to insert an email adress via predefining the appropriate field in the attributes tab.
    i would be very glad if someone could provide me a hint to solve this problem.

    This is the way how to send the form through mail.
    Generate and Send the Form
    The next step is to write the ABAP program which will create the form and email it to the vendor so that it can be filled offline.
    The program will have the following steps:
    u2022 Data retrieval and processing : A select statement for the pre-populated information
    u2022 Obtain the name of the Generated Function Module of the form
    u2022 Start the form processing
    u2022 Call the Generated Function Module
    u2022 End form processing
    u2022 Send the form to the vendor using Business communication services (BCS)
    Data Retrieval and Processing
    This can be as simple as a select statement to complex data selection. In this example we select the vendor number, name and company code from the vendor table LFA1 based on the vendor from the selection screen
    Get vendor data
    select single lifnr name1 bukrs from lfa1 into wa_vndbnk where lifnr = p_lifnr.
    Get the Generated Function Module
    The next step is to get the generated function module. Call function module FP_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME and pass the form name to it. The parameter e_funcname will contain the name of the generated function module name.
    First get name of the generated function module
    call function 'FP_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
    exporting
    i_name = 'ZVK_TESTHD'
    importing
    e_funcname = fm_name.
    Start the Form Processing
    Form printing needs to be explicitly opened and closed. Use the function FP_JOB_OPEN to open the form for printing. The parameter ie_outputparams determines printer settings. This parameter is also where we ask the generated function module to return a PDF file back. Since this is an offline scenario and there is no printing involved we need to suppress the printer dialog popup as well. Optionally there is a parameter connection which can be used to determine the RFC destination for ADS.
    Set output parameters and open spool job
    fp_outputparams-nodialog = 'X'. " suppress printer dialog popup
    fp_outputparams-GETPDF = 'X'. " launch print preview
    call function 'FP_JOB_OPEN'
    changing
    ie_outputparams = fp_outputparams
    exceptions
    cancel = 1
    usage_error = 2
    system_error = 3
    internal_error = 4
    others = 5.
    Call the Generated Function Module
    This is similar to the generated function module in Smart Forms. Since the parameters of the function module are defined in the interface, this will vary from form to form. However, /1bcdwb/docparams is a standard parameter. This is used to set the forms locale. This is also where we tell the form that it is fillable. Once this parameter is set - if the ADS is configured correctly (including the credential) - a fillable savable form will be returned when the function module is executed.
    Set form language and country (->form locale)
    fp_docparams-langu = 'E'.
    fp_docparams-country = 'US'.
    fp_docparams-FILLABLE = 'X'.
    Now call the generated function module
    call function fm_name
    exporting
    /1bcdwb/docparams = fp_docparams
    Z_VNDBNK = wa_vndbnk
    importing
    /1BCDWB/FORMOUTPUT = fp_formoutput
    exceptions
    usage_error = 1
    system_error = 2
    internal_error = 3
    others = 4.
    End Form Processing
    Use the function FP_JOB_CLOSE to close the form for printing.
    Close spool job
    call function 'FP_JOB_CLOSE'
    exceptions
    usage_error = 1
    system_error = 2
    internal_error = 3
    others = 4.
    Send the Form to the Vendor
    The PDF file generated is available in the parameter fp_result which is returned by the generated function module. The next step would be to extract this PDF and send it to the vendor using BCS.
    CALL FUNCTION 'SCMS_XSTRING_TO_BINARY'

    Thanks. I have written Programm, but it does not work as i want it to do. I will send an Email with attached Adobe Interactive Firm to [email protected]. I tried it with "*lo_recipient = cl_sapuser_bcs=>create( sy-uname )" at the marked(bold, fat) position. It worked but the Email was send to my SAP-Account, but i want to send to [email protected], so I tried this (see at code in bold, fat):

    lo_recipient = cl_cam_address_bcs=>create_internet_address( lo_rec ).
    But it doens`t send the email.
    Can anybody help me please???

  • Printing Adobe Form in Webdynpro

    Hi Experts,
    I need one help  from all of you , its quite urgent.
    Actually I am trying to print Adobe form in webdynpro method like below:
       "----- Take the Adobe fprm -------------------"
          lv_form_name = 'ZHR_SAP_FORM'.
          CALL FUNCTION 'FP_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME'
            EXPORTING
              i_name     = lv_form_name
            IMPORTING
              e_funcname = lv_fm_name.
          lfs_output_params-nodialog = 'X'.
          lfs_output_params-getpdf   = 'X'.
          lfs_output_params-device   = 'TR5T'.
          lfs_output_params-connection   = 'ADS'.
          CALL FUNCTION 'FP_JOB_OPEN'
            CHANGING
              ie_outputparams = lfs_output_params
            EXCEPTIONS
              cancel          = 1
              usage_error     = 2
              system_error    = 3
              internal_error  = 4
              OTHERS          = 5.
          IF sy-subrc <> 0.
    * Implement suitable error handling here
          ENDIF.
    *---Form language
          lfs_doc_params-langu = 'E'.
    *---Call Adobe form.
          CALL FUNCTION lv_fm_name
            EXPORTING
             /1bcdwb/docparams         = lfs_doc_params
              gt_item                  = lit_zhrauth_item
              gs_hrauth                = lwa_zhrauth
           IMPORTING
             /1bcdwb/formoutput       =  lwa_output
           EXCEPTIONS
             usage_error              = 1
             system_error             = 2
             internal_error           = 3
             OTHERS                   = 4
          IF sy-subrc <> 0.
    * Implement suitable error handling here
          ENDIF.
    *---Job Close
          CALL FUNCTION 'FP_JOB_CLOSE'
    * IMPORTING
    *   E_RESULT             =
           EXCEPTIONS
             usage_error          = 1
             system_error         = 2
             internal_error       = 3
             OTHERS               = 4
          IF sy-subrc <> 0.
    * Implement suitable error handling here
          ENDIF.
    Here , the funtion module name is coming correctly.
    But when calling function CALL FUNCTION 'FP_JOB_OPEN' ,
    It is giving sy-subrc = 2 , i.e. usage error (An Exception).
    Similarily , due to this i am getting same exception in
    CALL FUNCTION  lv_fm_name
    So some one please help me , what should i do ,
    am i supposed to pass some other parameter in  CALL FUNCTION 'FP_JOB_OPEN'
    Hopefully , waiting for responds.
    Thanks & Regards;
    Gaurav Singh

    HI Sikka,
    Thanx for the reply ,
    With your solution CALL FUNCTION 'FP_JOB_OPEN' is done.
    but the same  problem is still happening with
    CALL FUNCTION  lv_fm_name and it is giving sy-subrc = 2.
    i.e.   system_error             =  2
    Thanx !!!
