Forms Layouts and templates

How do i be able to create the templates and layouts of the Oracle Forms . So that standardization can be maintained in the whole application.....??

Simple ya,
First you create a Common Objects like Blocks,canvas,Lov & etc .,After that put these objects into objectGroup or ObjectLibraies.
After that you can refer the ObjectGroup to Other Screens.

How to exchange data between the html in the form layout and itsparameters?

i am trying to rephrase a question i asked a few days back and which yielded no response.
is there any way to exchange/transfer values or data between the html in the form layout editor and the form parameters?
for instance, is there any bridge such that the form template design (controlled by some html-based attribute), or the display property (again managed by some string value for the style:display attribute) of some of its divisions etc could be controlled by the values passed to some parameters of a portal form?
has any body ever tried to do it or thought of doing it? or it's inherrently beyond the portal forms capacity?
folks, any clues or hints on 'yes, that's how' or 'no, and that's why not!' please? will greatly appreciate.

Forms 6i and template.fmb form causes ros error -200

hi.i am trying to create a custom form...i copied the indicated plls and the template.fmb and the appstand.fmb to my client machine...i set the registry for forms60_path to point to this area...now i try to open the template.fmb form and get ros error: -200...don't get anything else...????what am i missing?

Complex form layout and PPR

I have a form containing several other ADF Faces components. The first component is a selectOneChoice and I use it to trigger a PPR request. The purpose of this request is to conditionnally re-display the jsf components according to the selection (hiding / showing). Everything is working fine if a just drag and drop the components directly inside a panelForm and I set a condition to the render attribute. Except, now that I have to make a complex layout, I need to put layout components such as panelHorizontal inside the panelForm. And here is the problem, the rendering rules inside my components surrounded by another panel does not get executed.
Ex.:

Hi,
in your case, both panelHorizontal and inputText either render or don't render. A component that doesn't exist, because it is no rendered doesn't make a partial target. So in your case setting panelHorizontal to render should allow you to show/hide the inputText

Region - Display only on form layout page

Hi,
1) I have defined regions on table-form layout style. How ever I want the regions to be displayed only on the Form layout and not on the table layout page that has the search functionality. Is there a way to hide the regions on the search page?
2) Also for display type "textinput" (read-only), eventhough I checked the "Column wrap?" checkbox, the text still spans across the page and not wrapping.

Regions enclose items. You can set the Display in Form Layout, Display in Table Layout and Include in Advanced Search properties on the items within the regions, but you are probably asking how to also hide the region title and line for items that are not displayed on the table/search page.
Although there may be a better way to handle this, we've created a custom template for the Regions node under the group. The template is attached to the VERTICAL_REGION_CONTAINER template on that node. The template has code that turns off generation of the region if the region name is a certain string,
We copied the current verticalRegionContainer.vm and added conditional code to the top of it like this:

The SearchTitle region is displayed on the Advanced Search/ table page but not on the Form (insert/update) page. Something like that may work in your case.
If you want some fields to appear on both, but in different regions, copy the items and drop them under the appropriate regions.

How to create form or tabbed template and import excel data

Hi there
I am wanting to know how I can create a rather comprehensive template that will be copied a number of times on the same page but each time will include different data from an excel spreadsheet.
The template will need to include quite a bit of layout and placement of text and images. The fields range from data type including names, phone number, email, prices, description and address. See attached image below of what I am wanting to acheive.
I'm just not quite sure how to set this up as a form/template in indesign and what the best and fastest way would be.
There will be about 6-8 blocks to a page.
Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.

2 Questions on PDF Forms. Submit photo from file and templates.

Hey all,
I have successfully turned an outdated Word form into a PDF form. However, there are still two important thing I still want/need to accomplish:
1) Is it possible to create a space on form for the user to add a photo. By that I mean the forms we are dealing with are basically data collection of people, and photos of the people are important. Right now, there is no way for someone to add a photo of the person to the PDF form -- is it at all possible?
2) Can I turn a PDF form into a template much like a Word document? What I would like is for someone to open up the form and when they go to save it, it prompts them to create a name for the file so they don't overwrite the original. Possible?

Fillable PDF Form messes up layout and structure in Adobe Readers 7 or 8

Hi Team,
I have designed a Fillable PDF Form in Live Cycle Designer 8.2.1, the form works perfectly well in Adobe Reader versions 9.0 or greater,
but messes up layout and structure in Adobe Readers 7 or 8 or older versions.., more over users are having problems, saving data.
I have Acrobat Professional with Adobe Reader Extensions, but still having issues, could any one please help,

SRM PO layout : Abode custom form logic and config

Dear SRM Guru,
I have a requirement in SRM PO layout.
I need to create custom PO layout using Abode form instead of Smartform.
u2022     I have proposed that, copy the standard Adobe form interface IF_BBP_PO_ADB and made it ZIF_BBP_PO_ADB and included my logic for custom form .
u2022     Created an adobe form and refer the interface as ZIF_BBP_PO_ADB and designed the layout.
I would be great if you could let me know below my quires.
u2022     Am I copied correct interface program IF_BBP_PO_ADB for PO layout ?
u2022     How to define the custom layout into SPRO out put ? do I need to define both Abode form interface and form layout in SPRO?

I put a HTTP breakpoint in LBBP_PO_APPF35. But I was not able to debug. Till sometime back the SRM portal was working fine, but all of a sudden I am getting the error
"Error when processing your request "
"The URL http://usushpdba387.nbcuni.ge.com:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart was not called due to an error"
"The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
In ST22 the error is:
The termination occurred in the ABAP program "CL_HTTP_EXT_ITS===============CP"
in "IF_HTTP_EXTENSION~HANDLE_REQUEST".
The main program was "SAPMHTTP ".

Which version of CC -- 13, 2014, or 2014.1? You'll find it under the Help menu > About DW.
Spry Menus are gone.
Color is something you add with CSS.

In smart forms-- difference between table and template

can you please tell me what is the difference between table and template in smart forms,
and als give me some object developed in smart forms.

it is not recommended because, when ever we activate the smartform it generates one function module.
if we transport that driver program and smartform to testing or production, in that server the generated function module name will be differ.
hope u got it.
for this we need to use these function modules.
