Registration Form tutorial

I am fairly new to flash and looking for the best registration/forms tutorial for Flash CS4. Is there a good one out there that would walk me through all the key steps for someone who is fairly new to flash? I have done some HTML forms work with php in the past but really like the look and flexibility of flash.

EMF Forms tutorial on Mars - issue with Application demo

Hello,
I have just followed EMF Forms tutorial on Mars Modeling platform and could get the forms run on application demo. Thanks a lot.
But I could not share the project on existing EMF Store repository (did not work). I could start the server but next on first commit. it failed with the following message:
org.eclipse.e4.core.di.InjectionException: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Workbench has not been created yet.
I tried to create a new repository (localhost) but I got same error.
Any idea? should I try with E3 instead of E4 feature?

Many to Many Form tutorial

Hi Guys,
I am looking for an online tutorial that will show me how to put something like this together...
Movie table: movie_id, name
Actor table: actor_id, first_name, last_name
Movie_Actor table: movie_id, actor_id
I would like an apex form screen with queriable section for the movie and a one for the actor. On commit, the form would create the link row.
Anyone know of a good online tutorial that covers this?

Could you include some more details about how you would want this to work? What do you mean when you say "queriable section"?
This could easily be accomplished with two pop up LOVs but I'm not sure if that's what you had in mind. As usual, if you put an example on apex.oracle.com and provide credentials we could help you a little easier.

Oracle Forms Tutorial

Hello,
I have been given a task of updating an Oracle Forms project to point to a new set of tables and to change a logo and add a couple of fields to the form. Does anyone know if there is a tutorial out there somewhere for Oracle Forms 6i? Something just to get me started.

For the 6i this could be done using the d2kwutil.pll library pls try to down load this library and make sure that you are having the d2kwutil.dll file in the running path.
In order to avoid any further problems....
Then u could use the following code to change ur Logo

Simple flash web form tutorial

Can anyone point me at a simple tutorial for building flash
forms for a web site (e.g. a contact us form).
I've been searching the web and support here for a few hours
and every path I've gone down has had a hang-up (e.g. component
parameters missing in my Flash version -- MX) or just doesn't work.
I'm 90% there in one version, but the input text data is
being passed as "_level0.name" instead of the data entered in the
"name" input field.

i followed the steps included in the online interactive from for image field but there is an error
after rendering the form
knowing that it worked for the sample given with the tutorialh1

Yes, there is lots of stuff on OTN. Go to the Forms area and dig in!

i understood about how to do the above process through existing threads in this forum, but i getting lot of errors and confusion while i'm implementing. so please tell me steps or give link which provides details.

What Forms version are you using? While you're at it, what is your database and OS versions also? Can you provide us with an example of the type of errors you are getting?
(i'm asking this because the template form having reference to app libraries)Developing Forms for Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) is different from non-EBS applications because of the EBS Framework and standard processing that occurs.
Your BEST resource for developing EBS Forms is the Oracle Applications Documentation library. Select your EBS version and then find scroll to the Standards section and review the following documents:
<ul>
<li>Oracle Applications Developer's Guide
<li>Oracle Applications User Interface Standards for Forms-Based Products
<li>Oracle Application Framework Personalization Guide
</ul>
For most of your questions, you'll find the answers in the aforementioned documents.
1. where should i save the template.fmb and library files in my local machineMy guess is that many of the errors have to do with attached libraries. The APPSTAND.fmb, TEMPLATE.fmb and all of the Apps Libraries (.pll) must be in the FORMS_PATH. Which means you will need to modify the FORMS_PATH registry entry for your Forms version (6i or 10g) and EBS version (R11 or R12).
3. how to do test run that form in local machine (i'm asking this because the template form having reference to app libraries)You can't - there are too many EBS Framework calls that will generate errors when the form runs outside of the EBS Framework. You have to test your form in a Test/Dev EBS system.
3. how to convert .fmb to .fmxUse the Forms compiler executable. (frmcmp.exe - on Windows)
4. how to register that form in appsThis process is too indepth to explain in the Forum - read the Administrator Guides ;-)
I get the feeling you are trying to learn this on your own rather than attend a class. My advise is to attend some classes. They are well worth the investment! :)
As to videos, you might want to try searching uTube. I've seen some Forms tutorial videos out there in the past.
Lastly, your best source of 'Forum' help is the General EBS Discussion forum.

Adobe forms layout editor not working

the layout editor in <b>sfp</b> transaction for adobe forms is not working... it says " could not open layout editor" .
can anyone plz suggest whether anything needs to be installed while installing the gui or any patch would do ...
or atleast where to find the patch ..

You do need Adobe LiveCycle Designer and can download the installer from SAP Service

Not able to edit the Webdynpro Adobe Form

Hi all,
I am new to Adobe interactive forms. I have created an small application which includes the text boxes & tables. But when i execute the application I am not able to edit any of the text field values.
we have done all the ADS Configurations successfully & we tested also.
If anyone bring me the solution it wwould be more helpful to us.

Please check the following...
In the Life Cycle designer, goto Edit -> Form Properties -> Defaults and check in the XDP Preview format if you have "Acrobat 7.0.5 Dynamic PDF" and also in
Tools -> Options -> Document Handling ->
Check what do you have in the Default File Type for New forms drop down box and make sure it is : "Acrobat 7.0.5 Dynamic PDF Form File".
Also try to deploy the Adobe Interactive Forms Tutorial application from(Online Interactive PDF Form) the following URL and see if everything is fine with the tutorial application.
