Formscentral to Acrobat X editing issue.

I created a form in FormsCentral. I've exported it to Acrobat 10. How can I add a watermark? I "do not have sufficient privileges" to do it? Same issue with header/footers.

FormsCentral or Acrobat Pro?

Hi there, I'm designing a pdf with several pages AND a form that must be able to be send back and forth a few times.
Now I have to determine which is the best way to go: FormsCentral or Acrobat Pro
The idea is that the form is filled in in several steps. The process looks like this:
a. reciepient fills in parts of the form, sends it back to office (using Reader).
b. office stamps off with a hidden layer the parts that are filled in and sends it back to recipient.
c. reciepient fills in other parts of the form, sends it back to office (using Reader).
d. office stamps off with a hidden layer other parts that are now filled in and sends it back to recipient.
e. repeat steps a-b until the form is completed.
Now here are my questions:
Can this best be done with FormsCentral or Acrobat Pro?
If the best solution is Acrobat how can I make the form mail itself back to office to avoid clutter of mutiple versions?
Any feedback is highly appreciated.

Thanks George. First I have to go over hooking up rollover buttons made in Indesgn and have them act as submit button.
I'm doing my first testing to get a feel of it. I've emailed the test pdf (distribute) using Acrobat, filled it in and send it back. I've made an editorial file
for collecting the test forms and I was able to edit the incomming file.
Now here is my next obstacle: how do I send the edited/revised pdf back to the recipient? it would be wonderful if this is possible through the editorial file.
That would rule out double copies or versioning. Or am I now too optimistic? Thanks again!

WHEN I ADD AN IMAGE INTO A .PDF THE GRIP HANDLES DO NOT ALLOW ME TO RESIZE THE IMAGE.
INSTEAD I GET BLUE LINES ALONG THE SIDE THAT I CLICK ON AND THE WHOLE IMAGE MOVES WITHOUT RESIZING.
IT WORKED PROPERLY A FEW DAYS AGO NOW I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG.

Why iCal "cancel of event edits" issue is still not fixed after over 2 years?
I have been in the software engineering industry for over 14 years, but I have never seen a large corporation being so slow at addressing major issues like these.
What would it take for Apple to start working on this issue?

Yup. This is fully ridiculous that you can't cancel your updates once you start. I love the tool but this is on pretty significant issue.
Sometimes I accidentally move a mtg or make some edit while viewing and you can't back you!!

Citrix Netscaler AppXpert with Sharepoint 2010 Page Edit Issue

Posting this as a questions and discussion point.
The issue is in using Citrix Netscaler with AppXpert with SharePoint 2010. I've seen this issue for two customers.
Configurations:
- Citrix Netscaler as the load Balancer
- Netscaler AppXpert for SharePoint deployed on Netscaler (using either AppXpert version 1.1 or 2.0)
- SharePoint 2010 Standard or Enterprise editions
Issue:
A SharePoint user with appropriate rights go to a SharePoint page. They choose Edit page, make changes and want to save changes. At this point all SharePoint ribbon options on the top are greyed out. End result, users are not able to make changes to their
site pages. Issue happens for everyone including Farm Admins.
Cases:
a. The users are able to edit and save SharePoint wiki pages if I point user's PC to the SharePoint web server WFE by changing their local host file.
b. On Citrix Netscaler, if I use the traditional load balancing i.e. without Citrix AppXpert, then the users are able to edit and save the pages. That is an option if the customer is using SharePoint 2010 Standard. That is not an option if a customer is
using InfoPath forms. InfoPath is a feature of SharePoint 2010 Enterprise edition. Citrix AppXpert for SharePoint is needed to make the InfoPath work. Else the users get session errors when they use InfoPath Web forms.
c. The issue happens on almost all combination of OS and browser. XP, vista, Win 7, Win8, Win8.1, IE8, 9, 10, 11 and other browsers like chrome etc as well.
Please share your ideas and suggestions.

I say again that I have acquired the Acrobat 8.0 version honestly. I ordered this version even if a handler is Germany. This handler was registered on the website at Adobe as a handler. If you do not believe me, I'm looking for stuff from my archive. But this time I would like to have then paid by you. Again, it is known that the version 8 Without the update 8.3, constantly has errors. I used to simply confirmed the update button. Today there is no longer this site. You are obliged to provide me with the update. Or give me a free replacement to the next higher version. Please give me a link to a zip file that contains a setup file.

Dieser Handler war auch auf der Webseite bei Adobe als Handler registriert. Wenn Sie mir nicht glauben, werde ich die Sachen aus meinem Archiv suchen. Diese Zeit möchte ich aber dann von Ihnen bezahlt haben. Nochmals, es ist bekannt, das die Version 8. Ohne das Update 8.3, ständig Fehler hat. Ich habe früher einfach das Update Button bestätigt. Heute gibt es diese Seite nicht mehr. Sie sind dazu verpflichtet, mir das Update zu liefern. Oder liefern Sie mir kostenlosen Ersatz auf die nächste Höhere Version. FormsCentral Plus vs. FormsCentral w/Acrobat

What is the difference(s) between the FormsCentral Plus (11.99 mo) and FormsCentral w/Acrobat (19.99 mo) packages? What additional features would I gain from the 19.99 version?

FormsCentral Plus w/Acrobat has the same level of service for FormsCentral as the FormsCentral Plus option and also includes two additional services - Create PDF (or Adobe Create PDF) https://www.acrobat.com/createpdf/en/home.html to create PDF files from many file types, and Export PDF https://www.acrobat.com/exportpdf/en/home.html to export to other file types from a PDF.
The features in FormsCentral in either plan are the same, the additional $8 gets you two additional services.

FormsCentral vs Acrobat vs InDesign?

We have many forms built using InDesign. Can you extend your discussion of "Which Adobe form solution is right for me (FormsCentral or Acrobat)" to include comparison of developing forms in InDesign?

InDesign just creates PDF fillable forms (similar to Acrobat). It has no workflow or collection capabilities. Its actually a nice complement to FormsCentral. You create the PDF form in InDesign then import it into FormsCentral to collect data.

Switching from FormsCentral to Acrobat XI Pro

We have been users of FormsCentral for creating fillable pdf forms; with FormsCentral retiring, we are considering to switch to Acrobat XI Pro.
Now I have 2 questions:
Does Acrobat have tools for collecting and analysing responses, like FormsCentral had, but independently of FormsCentral?
And how can I transfer our existing forms and responses from FormsCentral into Acrobat?

How did you purchase? AA8 has not been available for almost 8 yrs or so. The only current version available from Adobe is 11 and you can not upgrade from 7 to 11, but have to buy the full product.
Updates also require the use of the S/N of the qualifying product (AA7 in your case) to be able to use the newer product. So at this point, it is unclear what you actually have.

Ich verwende nur original Software.
Die Acrobat Version 8.0, war immer sehr gut für mich.
Diese Version reichte für mich vollkommen aus.
Ich hatte einen Computerabsturz und musste Acrobat auch neu installieren.
Die Acrobat Version 8.0, ohne Update, stürzt immer ab.
Das können Sie auch im Internet lesen.
Jeder weiß das, dass Acrobat Version 8.0, ohne Update abstürzt.
Es gibt aber dies Update nicht mehr zum Download.
Ich erwarte jetzt von Adobe, kostenlose Abhilfe.
Ich möchte jetzt eine kostenlose Fehlerbeseitigung.
Oder geben Sie mir ein kostenloses Update auf die neue Version.

I was not trying to imply that you improperly purchased the product, but that the source may have been a rip off and that could be the problem. From what I can see, it appears that you were able to install Acrobat, but can not do the updates. In that case, try the updates from the ftp site. I will have to come back with the address that I do not have on this machine. The html updates are no longer available for some reason, but the ftp site contains all the updates. You do have to install the updates in order in general, though you only have to reboot after the last update. I will change computers and find the ftp link to provide you.

Sudden editing issue with pdfs in ACrobat X

Hoping someone can help me because I use this ACrobat X function all the time and all of a sudden I can only use post-its and nothing else!

Thanks very much for reacting so fast.
I'm on a given line of text and I try to use the mouse to select text before then clicking on the function "replace" in the comments section.
Then up comes the hand and prevents me from selecting anything in particular!
What is really weird is that when I do things the other way around - i.e. click on the "underline" or "erase" function and then come back and attempt to select a word (only one, not a whole block as one could normally do), the function will work in all cases except the "replace" function which is the one I use most frequently in my correction work.

Acrobat PDF edited in Photoshop opens with different proportions in Acrobat

I opened an Adobe Acrobat drawing PDF in Photoshop. I then cropped and rotated the image in Photoshop.
When I reopened the image in Acrobat Professional, the proportions had changed. The image was stretched vertically.
How can I get the image to reopen correctly in Acrobat Professional, after editing in Photoshop? I have a feeling it has to do with a setting in Photoshop.

I've already switched back to A9.
I shouldn't have to upgrade again - I should be able to use the software I just paid for.
Sorry if that sounds rude but I can't be the only person who had that issue.
