Formula is not avaliable in rsaformapp

Hi all,
I have a strange problem.When I try to open 2LIS_12_VCITM datasource it throw me out with an error " formula is not avaliable in the table rsaformmapp "
I do not have this error message in another infosources only 2LIS_12_VCITM infosource.I reinstall it from BC.But it is useless.Does anyone see an error like this?

Formula is not working for key figures ( cumulative )

I have Qty A and qty B key figures and changed property to cumulative in query designer . two key figures are working fine . I ahve another key figure which is formula ( Qty A + Qty B) .
Issue is
Formula ( Qty A + Qty B) is showing before cumulative values result . it is not showing cumulative total .
Ex :
                   Before cumulation prperty for Qty A and Qty B
                      Qty A       Qty B         Total ( formula ( Qty A+ Qty B)
                        10            20                  30
                         8              7                    15
    After changing propert cumulative in query designer for Qty A and Qty B
                     Qty A       Qty B           Total ( Formula 9Qty A + Qty B)
                       10            20                30
                        18           27                 15 ( still it is show 15 like above example means formula is not working on cumulative values)
Formula is working on before cumulative value . it is not taking cumulative values.
Please helo to resolve this issue . I think I need to change some prperty in query designer.

iOS 5.0.1 has been out for a couple months, if not longer.
There was no delay in releasing it in any country.
So what is your issue?

Fast Formula are not verified while upgrading to R12

Dear All
As we are upgrading from 11.0.3 to R12, some formulas are not verifying.
The formulas which are all linked with the leave balance or ITD,YTD,PTD, Asg_run etc..are not verified.
Error Message for your information:
APP-FF-33062: Line 21: Alias for STOP_SALARY_DAYS_IN_PERIOD_ASG_RUN not allowed. Can only alias globals and DB items
Cause: You have tried to alias a formula variable that was not a global or a database item
Action: Only alias items whose name you cannot change such as database items or global variables

As you said when we create a balance , dynamic database item will be created automatically.But when we upgraded from oracle 11.0.3 to R12, the balance was already created.
The formula is not validating this as a balance but as a local variable,as you said.
So Instead of alias I tried to declare the variables directly, still it says error
APP-FF-33064: Line 1: Statements are ordered incorrectly.
Even i tried to change the order but nothing works.
I tried to run the Generate run balance with the mode as "All Invalid Balance"
it is asking for "balance level"( Mandatory) but there is no LOV.
Kindly guide us.

Server Not Found/CD not avaliable

I've been trying for two day to purchace my cart. I the the following messages when I click on purchace cart at the bottom.
The contents of your chart have changed, please review
when I click ok
"We could not complete your music store request. The server was not found. There was an error in the music store. Please try again later."
I click on the button beside the cd in the cart it says the item is not avaliable and to check back. Why doesn't IMS disable add album/track button if you they are not offering it?

Well I can see that this is no help either as I am not getting a response here nor any help with this matter. I will not bother you again and I will now stick to internet explorer to connect me to the internet. Thanks anyway. Bye.

Transport error: "Formula is not available in the table RSAFORMMAP"

Hi,
During a transport from DEV to TESTing environment, there was a failure and most details from the transport log was:
Formula is not available in the table RSAFORMMAP
I realized that there were 4 objects in the transport request with some lengthy alphanumeric names.
How to I go about in identify the problem and what will be the most likely fix?

Go to transport connection in RSA1 and choose your cube or DSO and choose dataflow afterwards..so that all bex reports and related formula variables are recollected into a transport request.. It is better to recollect them and transport again.

Outlook 2013, intermittent "exchange server not avaliable"

I have a virtualised environment.
----The setup:-----
two vHosts, vmware 5.5, 4 CPU, 196 GB RAM, Storewize v3700, 20 10K disks in RAID10
two win 2012 exchange 2013 servers
two win2012 DCs
five (5) Win2008R2 RDS hosts + 1 2008R2 Connection broker
60 users on the RDS server in outlook online-mode. no cache
Office 2013 on the servers
-----the problem:---
Some random users have random problems opening outlook.
A user tries to open outlook and gets the message "exchange server not avaliable".. he says OK, and outlook closes. - opens outlook again, and everything works..
This happens at random times for random users
CPU, disk and network activity are very low on both vhosts and there is a lot of avaliable RAM on all guests
I don't know if its related, but the larger the mailbox is, the longer it takes to open outlook.. some times up to 6-10 seconds.. At idle times, outlook opens in less than a second..
Any ideas?

According to your description, the issue randomly happens on random users and all users use online mode. Thus, I recommend you use performance monitor to double check if the issue is caused by performance and we can also check if there is any 9646 error
code in the event log.

We can use performance monitor to check the change of the counters: RPC request, RPC average latency and RPC operation/sec
Referring to others’ suggestions, the issue may be caused by E1000 vNICs. Maybe we can temporarily try to update to E1000e. Alternatively, you can ask for help from the VMAS support.

The vNICs are already E1000e. The next step for me is to try upgrading them to VMXNET3. There are no errors in the event log related to this. I have not yet gone the perfmon-way, because I figured that when disk activity and CPU / RAM consumption is
so low, it wouldn't be an issue.
I was connected to the system yesterday evening where I experienced this error. There were a total of 8 users connected to the system, having only the ERP system running. I was the only user on that particular RDS host, and vmware performance metrics say
the servers are under very low load-level..

Try restarting the servlet container (either just the context if you know how, or the server if you don't).

I have recently gone onto the iTunes store to pre order the new Slipknot album All Hope Is Gone. I was dissapointed to find that it was not avaliable for pre order in the Australian iTunes store. I doubt anyone here will know before such time as Apple posts it on the iTunes Store, should that occur. Apple is often unable to negotiate rights to pre-release content on all countries, so it may well not be avaiable for pre-purchase.
As to ordering from the US iTunes Store, no, you can't, not unless you have a US credit card (issued in the US and with a billing address there).

Formula calculation not work, when one inspection characteristic was set by formula

In the inspection plan, set 0040 charac. "calc. charac." in control indicators, and the formula is "15.86/C0020*100".
when the inspection lot was created, the 0040 charac. could be edit, and the formula title "formula calculation not by SAP interpreter".
However by the same basic data in QAS system，the formula title is "formula calculation by SAP interpreter", and the charac. couldnot be edit, only be claculated by the system.
Anybody know why this error occurred?

Please can you check the characteristic value using C00020 (C0 then 2 zeros before 20. Total 3 zeros before 20) instead of C0020 and check if this is working.

Exception defined on a formula does not chande display for key figure

All,
I have an exception defined on a formula included in the key figure structure based on which the display for another key figure should change. The display is changing for the formula and not for the key figure as i would like for it to do.
The setting of the exception is set to display on "following structure elements" and points to the key figure and is defined on the formula.
This behavior is exhibited correctly when run through BI 7.0 Query designer portal however when executed using Analyzer both 3.5 and 7.0 version i am encountering this issue.
Any help is appreciated.

Please mention the version of BW in the problem statement.
If you dont want to use exception aggregation in the query the second option is setting this property in the backend for the keyfigure. But I believe that you are trying to set this for the CKF, so I dont see any other option to generate exception aggregation.
I would like to comment on your reasons why you dont wnat to usee the exception aggregation.
1. It is not working: If it not working, you should contact SAP for this. Exception aggregation is 20% heart of any query and it is very rarely used things in reporting.
2. It is obsolete: I am not sure, if this is correct. There are many industries where you cannot built certain reports without exception aggregation. The simplest report of sales where you are asked to find the rate of the material from Total Sale and Quantity at aggregation level can not be created without exception aggregation. So this option is and will never obsolete.
Please try using before aggregation.

Number of employees field not avaliable for input in TRIP

Hi All,
when we try to create a new trip from PR05 , the field number of employees is always grad out and its not allowing to input any values during the new trip creation.
we also tried to check the field status for this field in Table V_T706B1_B (field control for addtional receipt information ) and this field is set as optional but its not avaliable for input during trip creation.
and also we tried to make this field as required field in Table V_T706B1_B but still the field is grad out on the screen and not avaliable for input the value.
however, after made the field as required ; when try to create & save the trip its not allowing to save since this field is required entry now but its not a input filed.
this case is very strange for us ; how can we maintain the values in Number of employees under addtional info tab for TRIPs ?
for your reference ; i have pasted the screenshot to understanding my issue.

In fact we have few cases in our system where the number of employees updated in TRIP , attached the screenshot for your reference.
but now we are not able find how the field is updated some times and not always.
now my client is asking us the reason for this field update in TRIP

ITunes Store purchase not avaliable

I have an itunes store(Bulgaria) account with visa card. However yesterday I changed to United States, to download some apps that are not avaliable in Bulgaria store. I also purchased Gta 3. It did not download and gave me an error- I think it was about the credit card and I had to change my store back to Bulgaria. However today I found out that I am charged for that app, but I have not received iTunes Receipt, neither can I found the app in purchased. Any help is greatly appreciated
