Forum administrator email address?

Hi there,  I cannot find the forum administrator's email address.  Can somebody help?  Many thanks.

You don't need an e-mail address!
Just click on "options" in the upper right corner of this (or yours, or any other) post and select "report to a moderator".

Your message will get read and forwarded to the correct person.

  • Administrator email address in Calendar server

The calendar configuration script asks for "Administrator Email Address" which is by default root@<localhost>. Do you usually change that e-mail address to point to postmaster account: [email protected]?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
If the user record is linked to an employee, then this is the one that Wokflow will use. If the user is not linked to an employee, then the user email address will be used instead.
There is no way to re-synchronize this - you would have to relink the user and employee again.

  • How can I use multiple email-addresses with "Administration Email Address"

What syntax should I use to have more email-adresses in the screen "Manage Service - Instance Settings - Email" after the field "Administration Email Address".
    I tried:
    - '[email protected]','[email protected]'
    - '[email protected], [email protected]'
    - '[email protected]; [email protected]'
    - "[email protected]','[email protected]"
    - "[email protected], [email protected]"
    - "[email protected]; [email protected]"
    Every time I get the ORA-29279 / 501.
Please help me with the right syntax for multiple email-addresses.
    Thanx!
    reg.
    Chris

From a google search of the docs, it looks that that field is used as a FROM address... hence it's by definition only one address.
Administration Email Address - Defines the "from" address for administrative tasks that generate email, such as approving a provision request or resetting a password.

  • Discussion Forum Email Address

    Hi,
Do you people have any support email address other than discussion forum. There is something very important regarding Discussion forum I have to request you people which I can not do on public forum.
I will be very glad if you peoply kindly provide me a discussion forum support Email address.
    Thanks

Emails are sent to the address which forms your Apple ID, so it's that you need to change. You can do this at http://appleid.apple.com but if the login for here is also that for your iCloud account you need to follow the procedure below:
Firstly, if you have 'Find My iPhone/iPad/iMac' enabled on any of your devices, turn it off.
Create a new email address, for example  at Yahoo or Gmail, or anywhere convenient (or you can use an existing address as long as it has never been associated with an Apple ID).
Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your Apple ID'. Sign in with the current ID.
Where it says 'Apple ID and primary email address' and gives your current ID email address, click 'edit'.
Enter your new address and click 'Save changes'.
Now you will need to go to each of your devices and sign out in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud - 'Sign out' on a Mac, 'Delete this account' on an iOS device (this will not delete the account from the server). You will also need to sign out of these forums.
Then sign back in with your new ID. Your iCloud data will disappear from your devices when you sign out, but reappear when you sign back in.
I re-iterate: before you start, turn off 'Find My Mac' (or whatever) or you will need the services of Support.

    Hello,
I am an oracle employee and need to contact an actual Forum Administrator and am unable to find an actual "contact" to get ahold of. Can you please email me internally?
    Thanks,
    Kevin

I need to discuss the migration of two forums from forums.sun.com to forums.oracle.com and do not know who to contact. The above name (Justin Kestley) is not in ARIA (the Oracle address book).

    Hello All,
In order to update your email address you'll need to private message me the following information.

The new email address that you would like to use.
I'll then have to put in a request to have your email address changed for each individual account.

I tried to use my personal email address but somehow it says it's already registered - but it won't give me the userid. I used a business email address to register now but I want to try to get it over to my personal email address - if FF forum will let me do that.

  • Can someone tell me how/where I can change the email address where Forum alerts are directed?

I have changed my email address at the office, and I can no longer see the alerts sent from the forums.
I have seen some forum posts indicating I should go to My Settings, but I cannot see where to start that flow.
Is it even possible to change the target email address for forum alerts?
    Thanks

In the forums you should see "Quick Access" at the top left of most pages. If not, click the small arrow at top left to expand the left rail. You can then click "Quick Access" and select "My Settings". You can see what I'm talking about in the first

In "My Settings" there are fields for you to enter your email address for forum alerts. Does this help?

  • Have searched Forums for quite some time now. Cannot find a correct answer to: how do I prevent my old email address from appearing as the "from:" address

Have searched Forums for quite some time now. Cannot find a correct answer to: how do I prevent my old email address from appearing as the "from:" address when I use a "send this" link on a webpage/news article. The email window opens and automatically inserts my old Hotmail address instead of the Yahoo address I've used for a long time. (The drop-down won't let me change it or delete it.) Thanks.

Do you get a drop down list with suggestions if you clear that "from" field and click elsewhere on that page to move the focus off that field and then double-click again in that field or start typing the first letters of that unwanted email address?
Use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop down list:
#Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
#Highlight an entry in the drop down list
#Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.

  • Can't change my email address for this forum

I need to change my email address for this suport forum, but can't figure out how to do it.  If I go to my profile, I can see it but I can't change it.  And it's different from my main Apple ID which is set already set correctly with the email address I want to use.
    How do I do this?

After a long couple of sessions with Apple tech support, here's what I've learned (for the benefit of others):
If you have more than one Apple ID like I do, then the original one that you used to sign into these forums is the one you're stuck with.
You can change that original ID's email address and/or password, but you must keep using that "first" set of credentials.  If you try to sign in with your newer Apple ID, it won't work, it'll keep prompting you for the old ID, so make sure you write it (and the password) down somewhere.
I made the original mistake of creating a 2nd Apple ID when I closed an old email account a couple of years ago and needed to stop using that old email address.  What I should have done, and will apparently have to pay for forever, was to simply change the email address on the 1st Apple ID.
Bottom line from my experience is be sure to only use one Apple ID.  If you create another, you'll be stuck with both for all time and have to use one or the other depending on which one you originally used in a particular situation. For example, when I get a new iPhone, I have to use the old Apple ID to download all the apps 2 years old and older, then sign out and back in with the new ID to download all the apps 2 years old or newer.  What a pain, but Apple has no way of combining them.  The tech rep said to send feedback, which I've already done.
