Forum for my website

Hello everybody! With my website, I wanted to create a forum. I know there are a lot you can use online. I was wondering if I could have some suggestions as to which one I should use. Thanks a ton.

How do I create a forum to my website?

I publish to a folder and use Fetch software to upload my files to another host. Since I don't use Mobile Me there seem to be a number of work around issues to what I want to do. One issue is that we don't have comments, and what we'd really like anyway is to add a forum to the website. I am a "learn as I go" type of user, and have never done this before.
What is the simplest, least expensive way for me to add a forum on to my existing iWeb site?

Hyperlinking to an external page from the navbar:
Link it to a blank internal page titled "Forum". In that Forum page add an HTML Snippet with the following code:

How can I implement my vision for my website?

Hello, I'm having a lot of trouble reaching my goals for my website using Muse. I do love Muse, it's allowed me to lauch pozzswim.ca and get some content up which I would have never been able to do before having no coding knowledge, but it's is only about 30% as functional as I want it to be.
My vision:
There are 2 sections to my site which the current version of muse would make very difficult to do: a blog and a news page. I want these two things streamlined and hassle free so I can upload new content on the fly as it happens no matter where I am.
If a user were to navigate to my /video-blog.html page what I want them to see is a neat, chronologically organized view of the blogs I've done with a breif description and a thumbnail. Clicking on the blog title/thumbnail/description will take the user to a new page with the full blog and the video from youtube I've uploaded for it plus a section for comments using livefyre and links to other blogs. There will also be a headline on my homepage with the most recent 2 or 3 blogs I've done.
If a user were to navigate to my /news.html page they would see a well organized chronolgical view of all my news items. My news items are usually short updates and links and won't require their own pages but will need to be formatted in an easy to digest way. I would also have a headline on the homepage for the most recent news items.
The homepage headlines should update automatically as I post things, and blog pages and news articles should be able to be created without me having to do everything manually in Muse.
Implementation:
I'm sure this is possible, but how can I do this and still use Muse to design my site? I know it requires a content management system, but how can I integrate one into the static content created by Muse? Options I've looked into are wordpress, joomla, and business catalyst but how do I use those with what I already have?
I could just create a pure wordpress site, but that would mean leaving Muse and the design freedom it gives me and learning a whole new system which I wouldn't have time for. Business Catalyst I wouldn't be too thrilled about as I would have to pay 3 times the hosting cost to get their blogging features plus I would have to migrate and I like my current host.
So how can I do this?

CRM, including blogs, is currently supported on Muse, but they are working on it. Meanwhile, you can try to integrate a blog into Muse. See more information:

Where are the references for a Website in VS2012 stored?

I have a Visual Studio 2012 solution which contains a few Class library projects and an IIS website. I can add references to the projects, to the website (add reference > solution). But where are the references stored. If you add a reference to a project,
you can open the csproj file and see the path to the project. How can I see the same for a website (not a webapplication, but a website)

As far as I know, when we create a website solution, the website project will saved to two places in default in
VS.
For example, when I create a website solution and then location the path like:
E:\WebSite1 in VS IDE.
One website.sln file is default save into the C:\Users\username\Documents\Visual Studio 2013\Projects\WebSite1\
WebSite.sln
In the WebSite1 folder, it includes some Class library projects you created and the website.sln file.
Another website project is saved into the E:\WebSite1 you located path.
So if you want to know find
the references’ store path for a Website in VS2012, I know that after you right click the website project ->Add-> Reference->Solution->Projects, the references will be added into the website.
And then you can right-click the website project->Build web site, the VS will create a Bin folder default to save the references. So you will see the references
in the Bin folder under the web site project. As the same time, it is default that you will find the references like the path: E:\WebSite5\Bin.

Need help with a logo for a website

I am not sure where else to ask, but I have had major difficulties with creating a logo for my website. I need some ideas, what colors to put together and fonts, etc. If someone can show me an example of the logo he/she can make (put watermarks on it), I would be willing to purchase it. The Illustrator forum may be a better option since logo creation is best done in vector format.

Looking for a way to monitor forums for a text string.

Hi as the subject says I'm looking for a way to monitor various forums for a list of text strings and give me a link to the post. I'm have tried googling but cant find anything specific enough I've tried looking at methabot but am unsure as to if this is the right sort of program, anyone with any experience or ideas in this area would be much appreciated.

you could write a daemon method which would, every so often, search the forums for the keyword.
Better yet, you can use google's "site: bbs.archlinux.org keyword format to do your search.
But, be sure not to do it too often. If you keep banging a particular forum website too often, your ip might get banned.

Discussion Forum for One-to-One Training?

Is there a discussion forum set up yet for Apple's one-to-one personal training service? I can't seem to find it in the forums list. If there isn't one, I would like to request/recommend that one be created.

I thought Apple had people who skimmed these forums for suggestions/recommendations/complaints and in some cases to offer solutions?
I don't think it will do much good to talk to the manager of a local store, when what I want to do is suggest changes to the architecture of the scheduling system. For example, it would be nice if we could check on availability of appointment times without first having to cancel an existing appointment.
Also, it would be nice if we could set our browsers to remember our membership numbers so that it isn't necessary to dig out the membership card and transcribe by hand a 9 or 10 digit number every time you want to schedule an appointment. Or, alternatively, maybe we could just use our email addresses and a password to log into the system, completely obviating the need to use a membership number at all? I mean, Apple knows which membership numbers correspond to which email addresses. (that felt good -- I've been itching to use the word "obviate" for weeks now)
All of this is seems to be managed by Apple corporate, not the local stores. You have to log into the Apple website to schedule appointments.

Require a single App Pool for multiple websites in Azure Cloud Sevices

I am deploying multiple (very small) websites under one web role. The code set is identical but configured/DB per tenant. I am just getting this ready for production and have a huge road block where it is running out of memory. I have troubleshooted
this and its because it is allocating each website to its own app pool. It therefore has circa 500mb of ram allocated to each app pool after the app started. My websites don't require this segregation and as I wish to publish 50+ tiny websites
on one webrole, you can see my issue. 50*500mb. I have manually gone into the instance/IIS and moved the websites to one app role and it now works how I wish. The memory was released and even with every site under load, the increase in memory
is well within parameters. Can I please have some help in how I configure one app pool for all websites specified in the service definition please? Don't mind startup tasks as I already have those but not sure how it would know what the app pool
was called given its a GUID.

From my experience, you can write some code in the web role's OnStart method to alter application pool. You can refer to
http://blog.elastacloud.com/2011/01/26/windows-azure-apppool-settings-programmatic-modification/ for a sample.
However, you can also consider other approaches which may be better options. For instance, use a virtual machine which allows you to use UI to configure everything. Or use several WAWS Websites (free/shared) and host each small site as a single Website.
Those tires of Website does not offer all capability of web role, but if you just want to host a bunch of small sites which are rarely hit, they may save you the cost.

I wanted to know if you can get a template page for iweb that gives you a forum on your website?
For my site I would like people viewing to be able to add there own comments and this is not possible on the blog page.

I don't know about a forum, but if all you want to do is let people add comments check out iComment 3. it is ( I find ) the easiest way.
Every comment link, is blog ( or page ) specific.
iComment needs a HaloScan account.

I'll be in a forum on a website and be fine for like 2 minutes then it will boot me and give that error.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
