Is there a better forum to speak to people with presentation issues in portal? I don't see many replies to this type of question.

    I just ordered a new MAC PRO; I'm currently on a PowerPC. I use Office X. Since it doesn't work on Intel I just ordered Office 2008. Just found out that all my VBA macros for Excel won't work!
    Is there a forum here that is appropriate for this issue? I have used Applescript. I have both sheet specific macros and global macros. I've pulled down Excel2004AppleScriptRef.pdf which contains over 460 pages of detail. I need some basic high level guidance re assigning macros to buttons etc. I also found (I think) that standard Excel functions are not accessible via Excel2004AppleScript but there is a workaround??
    Any help re the correct discussion forum or other forums would be appreciated. I know I'm not the only one with this heartburn.

  • Looking for Presenter Training tutorials

    I know this is the Captivate group, but since many of us use both tools I thought I would throw out the question. i am looking for some free demo's on using Presenter. I haven't had much luck on the Adobe website. If anyone has run across some training on the tool and what it can do, I would appreciate some guidance.

    I cannot help you very much, do use Presenter myself. Do you know there is a forum for Presenter? It is a little bit hidden, you'll have to go to the Connect Pro Forums to find it:

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
    You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
    Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
    There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

    If you have questions concerning Performance Management make sure OSA is mentioned somewhere in the title or body. It seems the search finds this keyword the most reliant.
    I weekly do a search to answer PA-PD-PM (OSA/ Performance Manager) questions.

    We are implementing the Change Request Manager part of the SAP Solution Manager, and are still navigating on the high seas.
    So I had a look at the SDN if I can find some useful tips.
    I found contributions in Web AS general, CRM, Netweaver Platform, Other SDN Questions, ...
    Business Process Management (BPM) should be the right one, but it seems to be too generic for this complex and by its own nature difficult to isolate product.
    So I suggest an own forum for the SAP Solution Manager, easy to be found by everybody, where all problems can be concentrated.

    Until the Solution Manager Forum is up and running, I have a small question that I'm hoping you can help me with.  I am currently evaluating Solution Manager as more than just a "technical communication channel" between client and SAP.
    I would define my work tasks as being functional, and see a wonderful opportunity to use SolMan as the name of the product advertises: a solution manager (integration of the roadmap, IMG, business blueprint, project management, monitoring, help-desk, etc.).  Where I work, this would translate into integration of the functional and technical personnel.
    I've heard from a previous presentation that the 3.1 version had certain issues.  I was wondering if the ramp-up 4.0 of December would have "smoothed" out these issues.
    I was reading in the forum all I could find on SolMan, and came across this thread which seems to indicate that SolMan is still primarily a "technical communication channel".

  • Different GOGS GL account for goods issue

    Hello SAP export,
    The F&A department requests to generate different COGS GL account based on Customer Account Assignment Group when goods issue (or billing). Customer Account Assignment Group field name is KNVV-KTGRD. The solution is NOT possible at T-CODE OBYC (with GBB transaction (MM FI configuration for goods issue) because we are using the same materials. (All materials are with same valuation class in MATERIAL master).
    I had posted this question in SD forums but the export suggests me to post in FI forum.
    If you know any workable solution, please help.

  • Smart form for Goods issue

    I am facing a problem with smartform. I am creating a smartform for good issue
    This is the smartform Z_SMB40_MMGI1_L and this is the print program Z_SMB40_M07DR
    For ME application i have assigned the output type wlb1 and the above said form in nace.
    I am picking the document number from mb51 based on the movement type 309
    in mb02 for each document i am trying to assigning the output type wlb1
    i was able to assign the output type for only one document number for rest it is showing warnings and also for few documents i am receiving error
    Express document "Update was terminated" received from author "xxxxx"
    how do i assign for all documents at a stretch (in which t code).
    in mb90 i am trying to view the form but it is throwing the error
    START_FORM is invalid, OPEN_FORM is missing,
    even though i have removed the script name.
    can u please help me out by providing the corresponding print program and smartform for above said scenario

    Go to Nace .The application for Goods Issues is
    ME - Inventory Management -> select and click on output types ->select wa03 output type and click on processing routines here you can find the form name and the driver program name.So while printing select wa03 as the output type.

  • Product ID for second issue of multi viewer app

    I've in this forum already found very usefull info about publishing the second issue of a free multi viewer app but still can't figure out if we have to use the same Product ID  for each issue, or do we need to create a different Product ID for each issue ?
    I've put two examples below, suppose one of them has to right. Or not ??
    Is this the way to handle multiple issues (option 1):
    product ID issue 1 = Product ID issue 2 = com.magnusmedia.magname
    Or is this the right way (option 2):
    product ID issue 1 = com.magnusmedia.magname.01
    product ID issue 2 = com.magnusmedia.magname.02

    Allright, was in a hurry and tested it out myself.
    Option 2 is working for me, hope it's right to handle it that way.
    With option 1 the app crashes (dark gray screen, no folio opens, library- en scrolling buttons are available but)

    Short answer: Yes, use a different Product ID for each folio (or for each set of folio renditions).
    Longer answer: It's confusing that there are three different types of Apple Product IDs:
    (1) the app Product ID, which you can ignore
    (2) subscription duration Product IDs for a paid app or a single Product ID for a free subscription app
    (3) a Product ID for each retail folio
    When you're setting up a free subscription app, you don't need to use iTunes to create a Product ID for individual folios, because your folios are free. You just need to set up a free subscription Product ID in iTunes Connect and specify that Product ID in the DPS App Builder. On the Adobe side, you use a different Product ID for different folios you publish, such as com.publisher.publication.2012October and com.publisher.publication.2012November.  If you're creating renditions, you use the same Product ID for the different renditions and different Product IDs for different sets of renditions.

  • A summary of this forum for perspective Nokia buye...

    I have been on this forum for about 2 weeks (not long I admit) ever since the release of "free" navigation for (your) Nokia phone.
    Since then I have observed the following:
    Nokia blatantly refuse to acknowledge or comment on issues which make them look bad, to whit;
    - Nokia maps not working with BlueTooth
    - Nokia Maps failing to update on certain handsets
    - A time/date bug causing phones to crash when using Nokia Maps
    - Nokia voice files failing to install due to an LUA error
    - Nokia's refusal to comment on whether certain phones will be supported
    - Nokia's refusal to answer questions directly either on or off the record
    - Numerous complaints by customers mislead by Nokia's blatant lie that Nokia Maps are     now free for phone.
    - Nokia's license servers failing to work when a license is purchased.
    - Nokia's license servers rolling licenses forward to version 3, and then being unable to work with version 2 when any of the previously mentioned issues arise.
    Nokia have further seen more than 40 users post to say they will never buy another Nokia (myself included) PURELY regarding the dishonesty they have shown with their handling of the maps situation. Nokia have still not commented, nor stated publicly their intentions with regards to these issues.
    Nokia have, in short, angered their (once) loyal customer base and driven numerous people away for the opportunity to (falsly) advertise free navigation on their phones.
    I feel the above is a fairly apt description of the occurences of this board over the last 2 weeks.
    Does anyone else want to point out something I have missed/agree/disagree with me?
    Please post your (reasoned and intelligently ONLY!) oppinions here, and lets see if we might be able to get through to Nokia.

    Err, if you post here, you really shouldnt expect Nokia to reply to you since this is aUSER-TO-USER FORUM. The Nokia hired moderators here arent even technicians who could answer some of the questions. They're just here to enforce forum rules. Some Nokia employees do come around from time to time, but that's so rare as to us not expect them here at any given time. If you want an official Nokia response to your queries, the only way would be to mail them through the contact us button at the top of the page.
    As for shamelessly ignoring questions regarding n95 and n96, lets see. They announced that they were working on the maps to be compatible on other s60v3FP2 phones to be available this year, hopefully within the first half (n96 included). This has been already answered before. Then somebody comes in and posts the same question again. It is answered. A few days later someone else asks it again. Personally, some people here do get tired of answering the same question again and again sometimes at intervals of a few hours of each other. Most of the people here who answer your questions arent Nokia employees and are in no way obligated to answer your questions if they have already answered it like 5 or six times. I've seen here posts regarding the new answer key for the v40 5800 right next to each other asking the same thing, and one of the threads was answered.
