Try to change mail Adress in Novell Forum - Password wrong

Hi,
I tried to change my mail adress in the novell forum.
The thing is -> every time I enter my password, there comes the message that I entered the wrong password.
Can somebody please have a look? I tried it much enough to say that there is something wrong,

Changing otn forum password

Am I missing the obvious? How do I change my forum password? I've poked all around my control panel, searched this forum ... nothing.

Your Control Panel > Your Profie (Edit link) > Email (Edit Link) > Opens up a new Pop up Window that has a change password link in it.

User Password change fails in OWA 2013

User Password change fails in OWA with this error: Your password couldn't be changed. Make sure the old password you typed is correct and that the new password meets the minimum security requirements.
We are migrating from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013. Have mailboxes in both environments. OWA 2007 password changes succeed (user mailbox is still in Exchange 2007). When the user mailbox is moved to Exchange 2013, password changes fail
with the above error.
We have the Exch 2013 servers are on Windows 2012 and we are running Exch 2013 CU3. We have made changes to the Default Role Assignment Policy to prevent users from changing Contact information and setting user photos, etc. We are not exactly
sure when user password changes stopped working, or even if they ever did work, although we recently installed our Prod Exch 2013 servers alongside our 2007 servers without any RBAC delegation implemented and a quick test of a user password change was successful.
I reversed all the changes to the Default Role Assignment Policy but the password change still fails.

Please try the following steps in your CAS server:
1. Click Start > Run and type regedit and click OK.
2. Navigate to the "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchange OWA" key.
3. Set the ChangeExpiredPasswordEnabled value from 1 to 0.
4. Close regedit and re-open it.
5. Set the ChangeExpiredPasswordEnabled value from 0 to 1.
6. Close regedit.
7. After you configure this DWORD value, please reset IIS. The recommended method to reset IIS is to use IISReset /noforce from a command prompt.

Outlook 2013 - Password change breaks S/MIME Certs "An error occurred in the underlying security system. Key not valid for us in specified state."

AD password change comes up, user changes password.
Tries to send signed or encrypted email with a Comodo S/MIME certificate, and gets the following error:
""An error occurred in the underlying security system. Key not valid for us in specified state."
I now have two reports of this error - one on Windows 7, and one on Windows 8.0 (remote user).
The one on Windows 8.0, we tried removing their S/MIME cert from Outlook/Windows and re-adding, this did NOT resolve the issue.
Plan was originally to have the 8.0 user ship their machine in, and wipe it, since nothing else could fix it and I wasn't finding anyone else with the same issue. Now that I've got a second user with the same issue, its looking like a bug/issue and
not a random glitch.

EFS, password change denies access to encrypted data

Hi,
Has anyone had the issue with admin changing users password in Console One
resulting in users not being able to access their encrypted data.
Laptop users are using EFS to encrypt their data.
These users have WinXPPro SP2 and we are running ZfD 6.5SP2.
I have found IR 1 for ZfD 6.5 SP2 which includes TID3003874 "Personal IE
certificates and EFS stop working after password change" however this does
not fix the issue.
Could someone explain in more detail what this fix does as I may have
misunderstood what this fix is.

Vpn client radius ad password change

Hi
I've read a few posts about this on the forum and it seems like very few people are able to resolve the issues they are having.
I have a working remote access vpn and I'm trying to add the password-expiry functionality. I've set a test user in AD to "change password at next logon" and when I logon using this user in the vpn client (5.0.07.0410) I am prompted for a box to type my new password twice. This is never written back to the server and the original authentication box pops up again. The password change box has the codes E=648, R=0, V=3 as in the attached image.
Does anyone have this working with radius and AD? A windows password change would normally request the old password to reauthenticate and then the new password twice.

Are you using radius to authenticate the vpn session or are you using ldap which is pointing to AD for authentication? This will work with radius since you can use mschap v2, however i want to be sure how you have your ASA setup first.

Lotus Notes password change not working

Hi,
I'm integrating Lotus Notus and currently we are able to create users in the Domino server, so we have many doubts:
Lotus Notes Id Files are created in the Domino server, but this Id Files needs to be copied in the users own laptops or desktop pc's. What is the best way we can give the user the Id File?
For password changes: I have test password change from OIM self-service, I mean, I create a user, then I provision the user account to Lotus and finally I login with the user account to OIM user self-service interface and try to change password, connector log says everything is ok and the user Id file is correctly modified but, in Domino's server, Lotus internet/http password is not modified, so it is correct? I expect the http/internet password to be changed too. For test purposes I have to copy the new Id file from the Domino server and paste it in the client pc where Lotus Notes client is installed, I put the new password and I'm able to login, but http/internet password is not changed.
So I don't know if this is a limitation from the connector or if I miss something in order to be able to perform password changes, I have read many times connector documentation but this is not clear for me. I also have read oracle waveset Domino connector documentations but seems to work in a different way OIM do.

MobileMe iPhoto galleries not syncing after password change

After changing the MobileMe Password iPhoto does not recognize the properly configured MobileMe Account anymore.
All other Applications with MobileMe Upload/Sync/Publishing capability (iMovie, Aperture, MobileMe-Sync) still work flawless. After trying to publish a Photo to a MobileMe Gallery or clicking on an prior uploaded MobileMe , the MobileMe "Are you already a member" (Translated from German) screen pops up, asking me to login into MobileMe. A second windows states "An error occured with the publication of album "ALBUMNAME". Your MobileMe Account Information is not correct. The provided login or password is not valid" (Translated from German)."
Even in the iPhoto Preferences/Setting under the "Web" Tab the used and max iDisk Capacity is not shown.
After changing the MobileMe Password iPhoto does not recognize the MobileMe Account anymore.
I'm having this problem on my late 2007 MacBook Pro 2,4GHz
On my second Mac at home evrything works just fine, even in iPhoto.
I've tried several things to solve this problem:
- Logging Off & On with fake MobileMe username/password in the MobileMe Setting in System Preferences
- Updating the password in publish.me.com in the keychain
- replacing the keychain on this Mac (MBP) with the keychain from my Mac at (both have latest Snow Leopard and iPhoto Version)
- deleted the com.apple.iPhoto.plist

found that thread and looked in the keychain - indeed it was still the old password - changed it and now working again...

Password changes?

Until last week, I would routinely open the CC icon and the table listing the various programs would appear and let me know if updates weere available. No sign on. No passwords. Plain and simple. Last Wednesday that table didn't appear; a new one saying I'd been signed off and I was to sign on again. Did it. Wrong Password. Try again. Wrong. After thrdee or four times went to reset the password. Email sent to me indicating how to do it. Click to Adobe site, enter new password twice. New email says password changed and you're free to go. Return to start over again. Went through that procedure six times with six similar results.
Posted a question here. One suggestion: Not a Lightdroom of Photoshop problem, you need the Creative Cloud downloader. I'd already tried that: You have to sign on to download it! Now it is suggested it is the new virus and I should check various other passwords that I use; no problems.
Since then have just occasionally tried again in hopes some miracle has occured. To no avail. I don't see a phone number to make human contact so I guess the next step is to write a letter.
P.S.--This month's photo package payment was certainly withddrawn from my checking account.

There is an issue with the Adobe ID. The reason for the password reset is not working due to it.
Please contact Adobe Support via http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6 , it has to be investigated & resolved.

New password change?

I have just received an email from Adobe Customer Care. This seems to be an exact copy of the email I received from them on October 9, stating that my password had been reset and asking me to create a new password, what I did.
I sincerely hope that this second message is just one more evidence of the incompetence of Adobe in the management of these forums. I will not create a new password for this site and all the other accounts in which I use the same password until I am assured publicly here that this second password change is indeed necessary.

Jacob, I am not even 50% sure after all these weeks, but I would say that in October it did keep working without any resetting. But the emai was scaring enough for me and many others to create a new password and change the previous one in every other site it was been used. Whuch doesn't change the fact that Adobe cannot feel very proud with the site as it is malfunctioning nowadays, which only seems to change for the worse with every new change... None of which seems to address issues that have been reported for months and even years now.

Password Changes Getting Ridiculous

I'm sorry, but it seems like the frequency with which I have to change my password is getting to be too much. It wouldn't even be an issue if the restrictions on the characters, reusing old passwords, etc. weren't so heavy. I get more requests for password changes on the Apple Discussion boards than on eBay, PayPal, and Bank of America. Is there a reason for all this?

Also, apparently many, if not most, of the folk who signed up for the Community Events thingie (see Eric's note about that near the top of this forum), which included agreeing to an NDA, ended up having to change their passwords.
Yes, it is irksome. I used the same password for near ten years, and even after several months of using a new one my fingers keep wanting to enter the old one.

Error List for Password Changes via IDXML

Maybe I missed this in the documentation or in this forum, but I'm looking for error messages related to password changes via IDXML. I thought they were in the configuration for the identity server, but a file search didn't turn them up. Anyone have a suggestion or know where they are listed?

Can't help you off the top of my head. This has to be a message catalog on the file system as there is no such data in the LDAP config data.
Did you do your search with a good tool (err. not with the lame windows search feature)? I'd search /oblix/lang on both OIS and WebPass installs for the string in question.

RBACx Encrypted Password Change Utility

Hi all,
In the OIA/SRM installation guide, there is a reference to a tool, to find out the password of rbacxservice.
"Oracle Identity Analytics utilizes an encrypted password when communicating with the database.
To change the default database password, use the RBACx Encrypted Password Change Utility"
Could you please help me finding out this tool.

The mentioned tool only encrypts the password so that you don't have to store a plain text password in the config file. It does not decrypt it. The default rbacxservice password is rbacxservice.
The tool does not come with the OIA/SRM distribution so if you need it, you will need to contact support.
