Forum Points -- Total Contibution Points can u please clarify ?

Hi friends ,
                  I heard as if we get 250 points we will get a T - Shirt . This 250 points is Total Contribution Points or Forum Points ?
         Because both is variying. Total contribution points includes points for assigning points. But, forum points is for answring , am i right ?
     <b>   If we get Total contribution points can we claim T-Shirt ? ( or ) Forum Points?</b>

Tiger 10.4.11 to Snow Leopard 10.6 for $29: Can Someone Please Clarify This

My apologies if this has already been resolved or discussed.
I have spoken to numerous Apple employees and support people regarding if I can upgrade my Tiger 10.4.11 to Snow Leopard without having to buy the Box Set (which contains many useless programs). Apparently, Apple has conceded that it is possible and many people have said that it works great. My real concern is if whether it will effect my Applecare, etc. I would appreciate if anyone can clarify if it does in fact work and if anyone can pitch in if affect my warranty.

Says nothing about one's current/previous OS. It's an install, not an upgrade.
Section 2C talks about an "upgrade license", which refers to the $10 upgrade sold to people who bought their Macs after June 6th, does mention that you must have Leopard installed beforehand. This is not the case for the Single Use or Family Pack versions.
And it can't possibly void your computers warranty, since Snow Leopard didn't exist when you bought your computer.

Exception e3 has as cause e2 which has aa cause e, where having a cause means 'this exception is caused by another exception'.
Usually exceptions as wrapped like this to add extra information, while retaining the original exception information.

But, assuming it's not a trick question, the answer is D. And if you can "create a concrete object from" an interface, then you can also "create a concrete object from" an abstract class.

You are in Recovery Mode. Follow the instructions below to recover your iPad.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost.

ASO Formula: Please clarify

I came across a doubt while converting a BSO formula to ASO formula. In BSO, If SKIPMISSING is used, I learnt that we have to use INCLUDEEMPTY in ASO. But, what if SKIPNONE is used instead of SKIPMISSING in BSO, What is the keyword I have to use for this in ASO.
Please help me on this.
BSO Formula:

ASO Formula:

I’d be grateful for advice on setting up a home network.
I’m a total newbie to MAC OS Leopard, so please excuse my lack of knowledge!
Background:
Livebox (residential internet gateway)
XP Home OS Desktop pc (has wired connection to Livebox)
MAC OS Leopard (latest) Apple Mac Mini (has wireless connection to Livebox)
Mac Mini also has a Windows partition with XP Home OS (has Boot Camp and Fusion installed).
I want to set up a network between the desktop pc and the Mac Mini so I can back up the two hard drives on a shared area, share files, and share the printer.
Can someone please point me to a step by step guide on how to do this?

I got my iPhone 4 yesterday. I almost immediately had issues with it. I contacted Apple and was told to do a restore via iTunes online. I completed the restore and now my phone has an iTunes logo on it with an arrow pointing at the logo and a picture of a USB cable beneath the arrow. The headphones don't work

Small consolation : iWeb is a very advanced piece of software. So advanced that even highly skilled professionals have difficulty understanding and using it.
Anyway, your pages are NOT the same size by design. Which can clearly be seen. But also by checking the source of the pages.
The Home page is 665px wide and the Contact page is 820px wide. That doesn't happen by magic. It's user induced.
So do what I do : pay attention to every tiny detail. Especially when it's your business. No excuse.

Reminder on forum pages about awarding points?

This isn't for me, since at this rate I will be a Level 4 in something over 600 years, but I was wondering if there could be some kind of discreet and short (clutter avoiding) but highly visible, reminder or announcement on the forum pages, themselves, about awarding points and the points system.
I realize that for most helpers here the satisfaction of helping someone, and maybe even getting a thank you, is enough, but a thank you can be made more meaningful with very little effort.
Many new members are oblivious, don't bother to read the Help and TOU, at least not very carefully, myself included when I first registered here. I see so many not bothering to award points I think, not out of indifference, but simply because they aren't paying attention. Often a question will be marked answered, but no points awarded - not simply to close off the thread, as in some cases - but when there has, in fact, been a genuine solution.
Could there be some form of gentle reminder, avoiding pushiness, at the top of each of the pages? I know there is already the "Solved and Helpful still available" in the actual thread, (and "Answered question, Unanswered question with answer points still available Unanswered question at the bottom of the page"), but I think for many who haven't understood the points system to begin with, these may not even register- or be very noticeable.
If this has already been discussed and dismissed please excuse.

Just saw your thread, and it looked like a candidate for the Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA GeForce Roll Back the Driver issue. If your computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card/graphics card, then the following applies to you. You do not want to update the driver. Rather you want to roll back the driver version, probably to about May 2013. For your convenience I have done a copy/paste of the forum announcement which gives all the details and fix of the matter.
Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA Video Card Driver Roll Back
If you are a Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card and you are experiencing Premiere Elements 10 display and/or unexplained program behavior, then your first line of troubleshooting needs to be rolling back the video card driver version instead of assuring that it is up to date.
Since October 2013 to the present, there have been a growing number of reports about display and unexplained workflow glitches specific to the Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer has a NVIDIA GeForce video card. If this applies to you, then the “user to user” remedy is to roll back the NVIDIA GeForce video card driver as far as is necessary to get rid of the problems. The typical driver roll back has gone back as far as March – July 2013 in order to get a working Premiere Elements 10. Neither NVIDIA nor Adobe has taken any corrective action in this regard to date, and none is expected moving forward.

Measuring Points transfer to one total measuring point

We would like to transfer the values of different measuring points to one global (total) measuring points. I know that it is possible to transfer one value to n measuring points but I need the opposite.
We habe a machine with different blades (exchangebale) and would like to summarize how many time the machine cut sheets in total.
Is there a way to do this automatically?
