Forum Sign-In trouble

I'm currently typing on the computer at work. My home computer won't allow me to sign on these forums. I know, maybe it's trying to tell me to BACK OFF! But there's no stopping a would-be apple seed like me.
When I log in it opens up a new screen and just quits. blank screen with 'stuff' typed in the menu bar but no log in.
Thoughts? Other than BACKING OFF, that is...

My computer at work is also a G5 and I'm trying to get it to talk to the G3 I found in the storeroom that still works. Just want to use it for scripts, minor photoshops and the like while the G5 is rendering away. It's using OS 8.6 and has a very little brain but works, none the less. Would also like it to be able to log onto the net. Currently have both ethernet cables going into a hub, which is going into a cable modem. Can't figure out what the IP is for the G3, or how to configure properly. Tried posting on other threads for this but, so far, no luck. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi jeunes781,
Are you having trouble signing in to ExportPDF via the website, or from within Reader? If you're using Reader, make sure that you have the most current version of Reader by choosing Help > Check for Updates in the Reader application.
If the issue occurs when you try signing in via the ExportPDF website, please clear the browser cache and try again.
(And if neither of those work, please write back and let us know what the specific error is, and where it occurs.)
    Best,
    Sara

  • Forum 'Sign In' with Firefox browser not working

Anyone else having this issue with Firefox 23 or 24? IE9 works fine.

Notice there is no mention of the Adobe Forums or Adobe Labs 'Sign In' accounts. My 'Adobe ID' is my email address and my Adobe Forums and Labs 'Sign in' is trshaner, both with different passwords and email addresses.
I had an online Chat at the link you provided with Adobe Tech Support. I was sent a password reset email for the Adobe forums account using the other email address [email protected]. I was able to successfully change the password, but the old password persists for the Adobe Forums 'Sign In.'
    Here's the chat-See bolded responses.
Khader: I will send a password reset link to your both email address. You can reset the password and can login.
Khader: I would like to inform you that same email address can be used for both Adobe Forums and Labs 'Sign in'.
Todd Shaner: OK, thank you. This is just for the trshaner@ that I need to reset. Will I lose my history for the trshaner Adobe Forums account?
Khader: You will not loose any history for your trshaner@optonline.
Todd Shaner: When I Sign In to Adobe forums with toddshaner@ it does not show my previous history. Can I still use trshaner Sign In and just change the email address in my profile?
Khader: I have sent you the password reset link to your both emails. Please reset the password and login.
Khader: I'm sorry the email address is already register with us and you will not be able to change the email address.
Khader: Please reset the password for your trshaner@ and check the history.
Todd Shaner: OK, I'll try the password reset for trshaner.
    Khader: Sure, I will stanby.
Todd Shaner: OK everything is there but still getting this error when logging in or logging out: Jive SBS Jive SBS Oops, the page can't be found Sorry, the page you requested can't be found. You can go back and try again, or start again at home. Page can't be found Error 404
Khader: In this case I would recommend you to delete your cookies or try login using different browser.
Todd Shaner: Delete cookies or use different browser works for one-time. When shutting down or after a few hours the message comes back
Todd Shaner: See discussion here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5744080#5744080
Khader: Please raise your request in Adobe forums.
Todd Shaner: I have! Please see post here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5739578#5739578
Khader: You will get a reply for it.
Todd Shaner: Ok, thanks for your help. I can still get into the forum. So just an annoyance for now. Have a good day. Bye

  • Copy/Paste Apple Forum Sign In P/W does not Paste

Is there some security phenomenon that will not allow me to copy and paste my PW into the slot/space for Password
when I try and signin to Apple forums. The allocated space where I would normally paste my PW does not show anything
being pasted,, and I have also used Paste in the menu area , and even tried dragging my PW into this area, to no avail.
Of course, I can type it in manually,, however, my PW is strong,, and generated, and find it very arduous to type in.
    Perhaps a 10.7 feature?

I do not see, however, the option when signing in on Apple support community, the "Remember Me"option, before signing in or after. I can't seem to see any box that is availble or option to do that.
Whoops, sorry, I was thinking of another forum I go to. You actually go Safari > Preferences > AutoFill and check the box for remember name and passwords. It will then ask you each site you log onto after that if you would like it to remember the password.

  • CC sign-in troubles in Mexico? please help

I am having trouble signing in. A window pops up for a  trial version of Photoshop, eventhough i am a subscription member.
Then it says my clock is wrong and this is the cause of the connection error. I am online and connected to the internet.
I changed the clock to Mexico time, but I still have no success getting my Photoshop to run.
    Can anyone help?

Drigo_nyc please see Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CC, CS6, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html for several common solutions to the difficulties you are facing.

  • CC Update Sign in Trouble

My laptop (windows) says there has been an update and I need to sign in.... So I sign in and the box says  "You are signed out" with the "sign in" bar below. I did it numerous times, same result (insanity!)
So I wondered if my password was incorect (knowing it was not) I tried another one...this time in red it told me the password was incorrect.
So then I selected "trouble signing in" and put my email in to reset my password...not sure how long it takes to receive the email but its been almost a half hour now and I still have no reset email.
So then I logged into my Adobe acount via Firefox web browser and I logged in just fine and am now asking this question....
Why wont it let me log into CC to continue with the updates on my laptop?

Are you logged into the Creative Cloud from another computer?  You can only use one device at a time.

  • ITunes Store signing in troubles

Why does it keep saying unable to sign into iTunes Store wanting to view purchase history, logging in with correct Apple ID and password, any suggestions very frustrated

Apple’s having trouble with the iTunes Store servers right now. Wait for them to resolve the issue.
Feel free to check up on the issue @ http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/
This outage started @ 5am est (~10 hours ago).
I'm disappointed in Apple's inability to do the smart thing, and post a notice in the header of the site, this is a user-wide issue, you don't just hide the fact it's happening behind a server status page.

  • Verizon Forum - sign In

Using my Verizon Residential User ID, I can't' sign in to the Verizon Forum; however, using my Community User ID, I can sign in and post!!
Please put this notice on the sign-in page: it might help people who can't access this Forum with their Verizon User ID.

Would you like this to be corrected so you can use your residential My Verizon ID instead? You should be able to log in with that ID.
A while back it was changed to use your residential login ID as your screen name, if you want it to be different you must do as you did, and create a user name. But they recommend that it be the same for the purpose of providing support. If your residential login ID is your full name, than the use of personally identifiable information is prohibited in the forums and it is restricted for your own security.

  • Sign-In Troubles - Stuck on Sign-In

For the past few months now, my Skype's been having the commonly-reported issue of getting stuck at the sign-in screen, where the white circle goes over and over. With the update to the new version, I was hoping the issue would resolve, but it has not. The swirling animation just plays for a good ten minutes or so, then stops with an error message that simply says it can't sign in.
I've been browsing the forums for hours now. I've tried just about every solution I could find:
    Uninstalling Skype, and the re-installing
Uninstalling, then re-installing with the MSI downloader
    Deleting the temp files
Completely deleting everything related to Skype manually, then re-installing [both standard and MSI]
Uninstalling and r-installing Java [That was having issues as well, not allowing me to update tot he latest version]
Making exceptions for both public and private networks on my Windows Firewall and Avast! Antivirus
I attemtped, but failed, to downgrade IE to IE9 [the instructions I've been finding were either innaccurate, too complicated, or flat-out didn't work]
I've tried just about everything I've seen suggested, from the most populat solutions to some obscure ones that did nothing for me as well.
I run Windows 7 on an HP Pavilion g-series laptop.
I've been at this for hours, actively trying to fix the issue, and the issue itself has been going on for months now. Even with the newest update, nothing's changed.
Aside from what I listed above, have there been any more ways to fix this problem? It's pretty ridiculous, in my opinion, that so many different things have worked with some people and not with others. How flawed is the program itself?
I just want to be able to get back to talking to my friends and family and playing game son call with them, who I can only contact via Skype, and not just on my iPhone.

  • Signed Applet Trouble.

    hi,
Lately have been working on signing of applets, now by default
applets are not allowed to access system resources, i.e files, etc,
for obvious reasons. So if one has to access these resources through
applet, the applet needs to be signed. Now i have signed the applet,
even after doing that when i try to access the files(most of them
are XML and property files), it gives me access denied error.
The weird part is that it works perfectly fine in JRE1.4.1_01,
where as it gives error in the later versions of Java i.e
JRE1.4.2_01 or for that matter even in the latest version i.e
    JRE1.4.2_02.
So here i need to verify, that is this really a bug, or has Java
    enhanced its security constraints.
In either case i need to find a consistent and optimized solution
for the same. Here in i have found a solution, using
    Java.security.AccessController and its doPrivileged method.
    Thanks in Advance
    Regards
    Vikram

  • ITunes sign in trouble = me wanting to break something

so i got an iTunes gift card and i'm trying to redeem it....when i put my email address in to sign in it says it won't work...even though thats my Apple ID...which is the same one i use so i can post on discussion boards...ok..so i'll make a new account using the my ID email address anyway....i'm thinking it'll say "oh if your the user of this Apple ID then just sign in"..which it does...but when i try to sign in...it still gives me an error....***....how can i sign in to Apple.com and not iTunes...especially if it already recognizes it as an Apple ID?...f.y.i...its not a .mac address.

If you have not created an iTunes account, you can use your Apple account but you still have to create an iTunes account.
Click here -> iTunes Gift Certificate Redemption page
or go to the main iTunes store and click Redeem on the right side (same as link above).
Once you enter your code you can use your iTunes account you already have or create a new one (using your AppleID).
