Forward all mail, minus the attachments

I'm trying to find a way to forward all emails in my inbox to my ipod touch, without the attachments. I'd still like the text from the emails with the attachments, just no attachments. I've looked around google, and i've trie playing with automator and the mail.app rules but have come up with nothing.
Any help would really be appreciated.

Rewrite rules: how to forward all mails to the specific channel?

I have written an anti-virus plugin using the MTA SDK. Now I want to forward all the incoming messages to the channel, which is 'guarded' by my program (so my program is the channel's master).
I've added following to the end of imta.cnf, according to MTA SDK example:

In this configuration, any incoming mail just miss my channel completely.

in this case, mail is sent to our channel, but has host part '$*', and the message is failed to enqueue.
Also, it seems like this reqrite entry conflicts with ours:

As I understand, according to these rules, everything goes to @avp.ru or @ultra5.avp.ru goes to the local delivery channel ultra5.avp.ru. This is not what I want.
So, the questions are:
1. How to move all the messages (or just messages. which matched the specific domain) into my channel?
2. How to configure rewrite rules, so the message can leave the channel after processing, and continue the routing?

Still doesn't work.

After sending the message, it silently goes to tcp_scan channel, and handled by channel master program. After that the message stays in tcp_scan queue forever, with HELD extension.
Our channel master enqueues the processed message into the channel where it dequeues it, so the message seems to be looped. Here is the message:

How to avoid this loop? Should our master enqueue the processed messages into another channel? If yes, what channel should we enqueue to? If no, how to avoid this loop?

Forwarding all mail from one ironport C170 to another (C160)

Could someone tell me how to forward all mail which hits my ironport c170 at one site to another c160 at the other please? I have tried adding SMTP routes but this doesnt seem to work.

When an email contains multiple attachments how can I forward just one of the attachments in a new email?

I am new to IPAD use and need to forward one attachment from an original email that contains multiple attachments - how can I isolate and forward only one of the attachments?

Aha! I have been doing just that. However, what has been tripping me up is that I am also used to clicking the Go Online/Go Offline toggle button on the top menu bar when I manually check for messages on Cox. Apparently when you take one inbox offline, that button switches to Off even though the other inbox is still online. If I just ignore that button and go on or off via the cox mailbox listing, it keeps comcast from being reactivated.

Edited to add: I removed that dang button from my menu so I can stop clicking it.

How do you disable the shortcut key in Mail that deletes all mail in the trash folder

Is there a way to disable the shortcut key in Mail in Mountain Lion that deletes all mail in the Trash folder in all accounts: <shift><command><delete> ?
I did it once by mistake and it deleted all my trash - it is very difficult to restore when there are thousands of messages in various emaiil accounts.

While you can't (so far as I know) remove it - you can assign a different (& less likely to be used accidentally) one via System Preferences - Keyboard - Shortcuts.
Go there, create a new one (or 2) for Mail only, and give it the exact name(s) if the menu item(s) in question, capitalisation & ... included.

Some of the attachments were only a couple of typed pages. I saved them as pdf format so receiver could read. The pdf file would not attach. Program gave message file to large for attachment to e-mail. Perhaps I am not doing correct procedure to attaching a file to an e-mail. I tried typing the document and saving it in pdf format to the desktop. Opened the e-mail on Safarii - typed a quick message and then tried to drop /drag attachment from desktop to e-mail. Up pops the stupid message. Would someone give me the step by step procedure for adding attachments to an e-mail being sent via Safari. Also is there a way to send large files as an attachment. I was able to do this when I was using mountain lion. Help please.

Unfortunately in a "forwarded" message that "select the size" is not present in the lower right corner.
You can try attachment tamer and see if that helps in your situation.

Mail puts all mail in the Junk mailbox

I've been working fine with Mail for years. All of a sudden it started putting all incoming mail in the Junk mailbox, ignoring the filtering and sorting rules which I have set up in Preferences/Rules. I've poked around Preferences and everything seems to be as it was. I got rid of a lot of old mail. I rebuilt all my mailboxes. It's a pain to manually sort all my mail and even when I mark mail as "Not Junk" it still comes as Junk the next time.
Frustrating! Any ideas???

I ended up REMOVING the junk folder from the list of folders on the left. When mail arrives that IS junk, I mark it junk, then select "move to junk folder (again)" and off it goes. I find this much better than to have all my mail go to junk and I have to UNjunk it and move it to the appropriate folder.
I wrote to Apple, but have not received a response -- I'm NOT holding my breath!

After Mavericks Install, Mail has imported all mails into the wrong folders

Anyway to fix this without manually going through each and every email? I have over 6 years worth of email and now all the new mails, sent mails, spam mails have ended up getting filed away into "ALL MAILS."
It took two days to for Mail to upgrade and now it looks like it did a bad job. Any advice?

1. All the non-archived sub-folders already appeared under “On My Mac,” so they weren't hidden.
2. A restart helped, in fact. I first made a copy of the entire Library>Mail folder so I would still have all the .mbox content. Upon restart, Mail automatically created its own Archive. Fortunately, it contained all the subfolders in the manually created Archive mailbox that had disappeared. Apple apparently reserves the term "Archive" for its own use in Mail. I found another thread that arrives at the same conclusion and suggests a fix for a related problem: Re: Deleted my 'On my Mac' folder in Archived mail after Mountain Lion OS X update - all mail lost - how to retrieve?
3. I believe the answer to #3 is yes; she'll need to drag her non-archived subfolders to Apple's newly created Archive from now on.
4. I copied them along with the Library>Mail folder, so I'll have them if I need them.

Rule to delete all mail with ZIP attachments?

Unfortunately, I have to do business with Windows users whose machines seem to be infested with viruses that harvest email addresses. As a result, I am engulfed daily with mail that contains Windows virus attachments (ZIP files) and spam with GIF attachments. And I'm tired of it. Reporting the senders to their ISPs is an exercise in futility.
Since the only legitimate attachments I receive from clients are always, and without exception, Stuffit SIT or SITX files, is there any way to set up a rule in Mail that will delete emails with ZIP or GIF attachments but allow those with SIT/SITX files through?
There doesn't seem to be a way to add "Attachment" to the list of headers in Rules. In view of the fact that the most common vector for viruses is via email attachments, this seems to be a major oversight on Apple's part.
Any hints on dealing with this ****?

However, when I expand the headers on any mail that contains an attachment, there is no header named "Attachment," just a paperclip symbol with an expand arrow.
So if I go to create a Rule, first of all there is no "Attachment" header in the Conditions list, and second it is unclear how to enter such a symbol-based header in the "Edit Header List..." dialog. Do I simply type the word "Attachment" into the dialog as a header even though it never actually appears in any emails with attachments?

Mail does not show all mails from the same sender

Hello,
I have a problem with Mail - maybe an undiscovered bug? I play lotto on the free online platform www.freelotto.com. Each day freelotto sends me 6 mail receipts for any individual lotto game I took part of. The sender is always the same in each of these mails.
When I receive these mails on my iphone I got all the six mails I expected. The same on my ipad. But in Mail on my Mac (same settings) I got just four. Two mails are always missing!!! I have no idea why. The are not in the SPAM or any other folder (also not in the recycle bin). They are just missing at all. I also checked my mail provider but those two mails are not longer on the mail server. So Mail must have received them - but does not list them.
What can I do?

How to: accept then process all mail for the MTA.

using messaging server 5.1 what channel definations are required to tell the MTA to accept all incomming mail and then process it. Instead of dropping it at the door, meaning that it just rejects the message if the user is not housed on the system.

Give me details on just what it is you are trying to accomplish. There are many ways to do things in iMS and if I can better understand what it is you are trying to do, the big picture, then I can comment further.

How to auto-forward all mails from an apple mail account

Turn that feature off in the account setup for the account in question.
Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars > Account > Turn off Contacts

I cannot forward e-mail. The send icon is greyed out. It sometimes happens when I hit reply as well, or new message.

Is this a POP account, or an Exchange account? It's probably not a problem with Mail, but more likely your Preferences are the culprit.
Check Mail Prefernces > Accounts > Account Information to see if there's an entry for the Outgoing Server, or if None is chosen. If none is chosen, you'll need to enter the SMTP server for that email account and then try it again; that should resolve the problem.
You should also use the Connection Doctor to see what it says: Window > Connection Doctor.
Post back with results.
