Forward to multiple addresses

Hi, I'm trying to forward mail from one e-mail to 2 more addresses.
Since you can only define one forward using the GUI, I imagine I have to do it using Sieve. But I don't really get it. If anyone could tell me exactly what I need to do?
And should I define one forward address in the GUI and one using Sieve, or both with Sieve? If it's the latter, then how do I avoid the account of storing the mails it gets (it should only forward them)?
Thanks.

Neither.
Use aliases. If it's local domains they must be written into /etc/postfix/aliases if it's for virtual domains use /etc/postfix/virtual
Open those files in a text editor. They both contain samples.
After you have edited /etc/postfix/aliases issue:
cd /etc/postfix
sudo postalias aliases
sudo newaliases
sudo postfix reload
After you have edited /etc/postfix/virtual issue:
cd /etc/postfix
sudo postmap virtual
sudo postfix reload

• I can no longer select multiple addresses from my Mail address book when forwarding emails

Since updating to Mavericks I cannot select multiple addresses from my address book when forwarding emails.
I can select them individually using the + sign in the address bar but cannot select any when I open my Contact list as I have done with previous systems.
Additionly, the full address appears in the "To" window instead of just the name and without the email address. I have selected "Smart Address" from the Preferences menu, View section.
Help!

Why are you using a Hotmail or Live Mail SMTP server to send email with your Gmail account?
This is likely the cause of the problem. Use Gmail's authenticated SMTP server to send email with your Gmail account.

• Exchange server 2010 forwarding to multiple email address

Is it possible to forward email from one address to multiple email address?

Hi,
On Exchange side, we can create a transport rule to copy the message to multiple addresses. The original recipients can see these addresses in Cc address. Or we can blind these addresses in Cc addresses. Here are detail steps:
Open EMC, navigate to Microsoft Exchange On-premises > Organization Configuration > Hub Transport
In middle panel, click on Transport Rules tab
In actions panel, click on New Transport Rule to create a transport rule.
Enter the name and comment of transport rule, then click
Next.
Select sent to people condition and click on people to add the email address you want to apply this rule to, then click
Next.
Select copy the message to addresses action (multiple addresses will show up in Cc address) or
Blind carbon copy(Bcc) the message to addresses action ( multiple addresses will show up in Bcc address and original recipient can’t see the Bcc address)
Click on addresses to add multiple addresses.
Then click on Next > Next > New to create and apply this transport rule.
Transport Rule Actions
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998315(v=exchg.141).aspx
On Outlook client side, we can create email rule to achieve this goal. Here are steps:
Click File > Info > Manage Rules & Alerts
Click on New Rule, then select Apply rule on the messages I receive.
Click Next, select where my name is in the To or Cc box condition.
Click Next, select forward it to people or public group.
Click on people or public group to add multiple addresses.
Click Next > Next > Finish to create and apply this rule.
Best Regards.

RCPT TO:<forward-path> [ SP <rcpt-parameters> ] <CRLF>
The first or only argument to this command includes a forward-path
(normally a mailbox and domain, always surrounded by ">" and "<"
brackets) identifying one recipient. In other words, you can only define a SINGLE mailbox address at a time. Multiple addresses requires multiple repeats of this command verb, once per maibox.
Do not confuse this and the To: tag line in the Mime header that contains a comma delimited list of recipients. That tag line can contain anything - it is not parsed, not checked, and not verified as matching the actual recipient mailboxes as specified via the RCPT TO verb.

• How do I add multiple addresses/contacts in an email tread to my contact list without having to enter each at a time?

How do I add multiple addresses/contacts in an email tread to my contact list without having to enter each at a time? I have AppleScript but don't see "add address" in any of the boxes/drop-downs.

Sorry, but Address Book does not allow you to select more than one email address to send to in a group. There's really no reason why people need multiple copies of a message, anyway; they have the option of forwarding email to another email address of theirs.

• Forwarding to ePrint Address?

I have my own domain name with email hosted by Gmail which I wanted to setup an address such as [email protected] to forward to the randomly generated ePrint address. When I try this I get the error below, which technically it wasnt sent to multiple recipients, just forwarded from one address to another. Is there any way I can make this work? I am not concerned about the unintended printing as I created rules to only forward if the email comes from a specific address etc. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

• PO to supplier using external send option email (to multiple addresses)

Hello All,
We have activated PO external send option for our client but they want that PO should be sent to more than one ID of the supplier and it seems that is not possible by maintaining multiple addresses in Vendor Master's Address view as system only picks one having indicator ticked, also system does not allow to tick it for more than one address. Please let me know if it is possible using standard function to send PO email to more than one address.
I need to know if there is any standard way of doing this w/o using any development or ABAP work.
Also has anybody tried using disctribution list SO15 if it is possible?
Please help we are at Go live.

Hi,
From my opinion, it's impossible of the standard function in SAP system, so:
Firstly you need to confirm with your buyers, whether they really require to send the information to multiple addresses, maybe they can send the information to one contact person on vendor side, then the contact person can forward the email to other relevant people;
If have to do it, you need to develope an ABAP background job to do it!
Hope you can solve the problem!

• WRT160Nv2-Problem with Single Port forward to multiple servers with same internal port numbers.

On my network I have 3 systems that I've set up as RDP hosts. And need to get to all three of them externally. So I'm trying to do the following single port forwarding.
RDP 1 Forward 4000 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.11
RDP 2 Forward 4001 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.12
RDP 3 Forward 4002 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.14
When I hit "Save Changes" I get the error "Port range already exists". So it's good that it won't let me overlap ports generally, but at the same time, I'm trying to send them to different IP address. There should be no overlap in this case. Please advise
I'm trying this on the WRT160Nv2 with firmware 2.0.02, which I had just bought this weekend.

kevj,
Thanks for your suggestion. I have now upgraded the firmware to 2.0.03 build 7. But I am still seeing the error message
As I mentioned previously, I'm trying to single port forward to multiple machines in the following way:
Machine 1: Forward 4000 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.11
Machine 2: Forward 4001 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.12
Machine 3: Forward 4002 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.14
The error appears to be generated by the fact that 3389 is selected for multiple external port numbers, but the same internal port number. The router I believe isn't taking into account that the similar internal port numbers aren't taking into account the different internal ip address I'm trying to send this to.
This would be a standard sort of practice for running a live HTTP server on one machine, and a new beta HTTP server behind the router on a secondary machine on the same internal port, but different external port numbers for test purposes from the outside.
Please advise
Thank you.

• How do I use multiple addresses at one time?

Shouldn't the Adobe server page that allows for the entry of a recipients address tell users how to add another address? Do we separate them with semicolons? Commas? Or is it even possible to use multiple addresses?

Yes, Adobe Send.
Unfortunately, it is NOT spelled out on the page where you enter email addresses of recipients, nor is it revealed if you click on the question mark box by email address.

• How to select multiple addresses from the contacts list to send an email?

How do I select multiple addresses from the contacts list at one time to send an email. Each time I select one, the address book closes and I have to touch the "+" key to open it back to select another address. Is there a way to select all of them at one time instead of making a group? Thanks.

Yes, once you select a person from your Contacts app, you either need to select more from the '+' button or you can tap in the 'to:' field and type in the first few letters of a contact and select from the list. Kinda bummer but gotta make do.

• Is there some way to add multiple addresses to an email I am sending that doesn't close the contact list after I click on an address? This necessitates constantly going back to click the + sign to add each address separately.

Is there some way to add multiple addresses to an email I am sending that doesn't close the contact list after I click on an address? This necessitates constantly going back to click the + sign to add each address separately. Is there some way I can open the contact list, click on all of the individual addresses to which I want to send the email without the list closing between each address entry, and have all of my address entries be listed to the email at one time? Something like it works in Gmail. I do not want to use set lists, I want to enter different addresses each time I send an email. And I am a very slow typist, so I don't want to type the first few letters of each recipient's name. It is much faster for me to just click on the e-mail addresses in the list as a group. It doesn't make any sense to me to have to reopen the contact list for each address, when it should be so easy to click on all of the addresses I want at one time and then click once to add them all to the email as a group. If there is a solution to this, please tell me. Thanks.

Vatlily,
Try this:
1. Select Mail>File>New Message.
2. Select Mail>Window>Address Panel.
3. Use (command+click) on the desired addressees in the Address Panel to create the list.
4. Click "To:" on the top left of the Address Panel.
The group that you selected will be added to the "To" field in your New Message.

I have an Apple ID with a single e mail address. I want to set multiple addresses in the same ID. Can I? If so how?

Howdy there johnzcarp,
As I understand it you want to have more than 1 email address under your Apple ID. You can have what are called Alternate Email addresses associated with your Apple ID and this article will help you get those setup:
Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses
Alternate email address
You can add one or more alternate email addresses for use with Apple services such as Game Center, FaceTime, Find My Friends, iMessage, and OS X notifications.
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
Select “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
Add an alternate address:
Select Add Email Address, then enter your alternate address. Apple will send a verification email to that address. Didn't receive the email?
Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address.
Edit an alternate address:
Select Edit next to the address, then enter the new address. Apple will send a verification email to that address. Didn't receive the email?
Follow the instructions in the email to verify the address.
Delete an alternate address: Select Delete next to the address.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Take care,

IQBAL,
You can maintain multiple addresses for the same vendor using international addresses.
First, you have to Activate International Address Versions for each country/language via config at
IMG: Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) > Address Management > International Settings > Activate International Address Versions (You can do this even if you are not using Real Estate Management
Then, in the vendor master, address screen, select the "International Verion" button, select the address version and maintain your address.
If you have any programs that need to display or print these addresses, you will have to specifiy the address version to display/print. by default, the version (Field = NATION) is Blank.
I hope this helps.
