Forwarded email messages

My Curve 9300 3 G recieves forwarded emails from the server at work. When I use my personal G Mail account on the device it records my outgoing messages in the sent file. All incoming address are added to my contact list...whether I want them or not. What is happening?

Forwarding email messages on iphone4

I have the verizon iphone and have both gmail and aol email accounts supported. I don't have any issues in forwarding email messages off my gmail account, but when I try to forward email messages off my aol account I get the following error message:
"Cannot send email. A copy has been placecd in your Outbox. The recipient "......" was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying."
any input on what this is all about and what the fix is?

Forward email message as attachment

Is there a easy way within Mail.app to forward another email message as an attachment? I use a anti-spam service that requires you to email them spam messages as attachments in order for them to learn how to block that type of spam. I can't seem to just drag a message into the new messasge window and I don't see another option working.

I don't believe this is possible with Mail.
I understand this is what they specifically want but have you asked?
Since all email clients do not support this, I find it difficult to believe they will flat out refuse to accept the required information any other way which is the long message headers for the received message which is easy to reveal and then forward.

When trying to forward an email message, the contact list does not appear. It can
only be forwarded by entering addresses manually. I can return an email by replying
but I cannot forward under the Mozilla Fox server.
When I am in Internet Explorer I can utilize the email forward without a problem.
Contacted AT & T to see if it was their problem, since I use att.net.
The technician stated it was a problem with Mozilla because it was not compatible
with the AT & T net work. It could possibly be in recent updates, since I just
discovered the problem within the last week.
Would prefer to enter my email through Mozilla Fox. So can you solve this problem
for me.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Cannot Reply or Forward Email Messages

When I try to reply or forward an email message, a pink horizontal pop up screen at the top indicates "client error occurred, please try again later". Anyone else experiencing this issue today?

Are you using an email client like Outlook, or Thunderbird etc? If so which one? Can you use the webmail OK?

Forwarding Email Messages

I have configured my .Mac email account to direct any messages onto my main ISP provider's email account. However, each messages is transferred from .Mac twice and no record of the original remains in the .Mac email folder.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?

I'm not sure why the messages are being sent twice, but I believe it's normal for the forwarded e-mails to not show up in any of your .Mac e-mail folders. Server-side forwarding is meant for accounts that you never check and want their mail sent on to another account.

Maybe I'm missing something but how can Verizon have control over your personal GMail account? Sounds like you do have your email set up to forward to sms.
I have certain emails that are forwarded to me as SMS but that is an option that is enabled on the email side of things and is independent from Verizon.

Try deleting the mail account and setting it back up again.

Currently when I forward only the body copy of the sms message is sent in the email.

When you hit edit and forward it, you actually forward the message as a text message, not as an email. So probably you have that email address as your iMessage address as well. That's why you get the forwarded one into your text message box. Is your name/mail address is blue? Which means you send it as an iMessage. When it is green, you then send it as a MMS to an email address.

How do I forward text messages to my email? I watch my email inputs. It would be convenient to have announcements of text messages arrive via email. Oherwise I have to login to comcast every time I want to find out about text messages. Being of the text-message-illiterate generation, I get very few text messages. So checking for them is mostly futile. If they were forwarded to my email, I would not have to look in two different places.

After considerable poking around I found the right preferences page. I have forwarded ny text messages to my email !

Very simple, at least on my Stratosphere. Tap on the message, then tap the Menu button and select Forward. In the To field, enter the desired e-mail address (or start typing a name from your contacts; it will pick up e-mail addresses from there). Press Send, and it goes.

I am not exactly sure why the menu did not detect the password change or if it was stored incorrectly after you changed it?
