  • Adding a forwarding link to send a pdf file to another e-mail address

    I would like to add a forwarding link to a pdf document that is available for download from my iWeb site. I would like someone to be able to forward the pdf file to another e-mail address. Can I do this in iWeb? If so, how?

    Isn't that decision rather made by the person who downloads the pdf.
    What if he doesn't forward the pdf and keeps it to himself?

    I've taken a few screenshots. Below is the broken link and where it heads to. It does not set up email forwarding at all, instead heads to the "my services" homepage.

  • Forwarding link

    Can someone explain how I would fwd a link that I have received from another client?

    If you received an email from someone containing a link, then click the forward button at the top of the email.

  • Clicking on rreply and forward: link uses wrong account to send mail.

    I read the answer of the expert about similar questions, but I believe there is a bug in TB. I follow instructions but it isn't possible to change the default email address: I uncheck the checkmark on the accounts that I don't want as default, but when I restart TB, they are newly checked (I find more than one account checked, so that I can't check just one...). Furthermore, nevertheless the desired account is on the top of the list, it isn't anyway the default "reply" or "forward" account

    Thank you.
    I don't have the checkbox here. I'm guessing that's due to a setting in Windows Explorer to offer a select checkbox against every item. I don't think it's especially useful or relevant to this particular drop-down menu.
    In my case, the "Default account" option on the menu is greyed out on the account that is already designated as the default, and active on all the others. There's no distracting checkbox to confuse matters.
    You might like to try the ManuallySortFolders add-on as an alternative way to set the default account.

  • Getting around URL aliasing or forwarding in Automator?

    Hi,
    I am new to automator but have a simple task that seems not straightforward to implement. I have a page on Google Sites (unfortunately not open to the public) and I upload and download ruby code to it. I'd like to automate downloading all the files that are have certain file extension and are linked from the main page. Those urls, when I copy them as links from the Safari browser, have a format like;
    http://sites.google.com/a/some_school.edu/my-cool-proj/Home/builder.c?attredirec ts=0
    My workflow is four safari actions;
    Get Specified URLs (the url is the top page of the google site for the project)
    Get Link URLs from Webpages
    Filter URLs
    Download URLs
    What I notice when I download those files manually from the Google Site page, using Safari, is that there is a second url that the link I started downloading gets forwarded to, apparently, and I can't seem to capture that manually to see what it is (it flashes across the browser's address bar and then dissappears pretty quickly.)
    Is there some simple way to follow these forwarded URLs, that is relatively foolproof, and that could be automated? I could take it on faith that the implementation of those forwarded links is not going to change, though that seems iffy. I could use or build some other site to post and pull code from, but that seems risky, and honestly the Automator script wouldn't save me more time than I would lose in such an effort.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated -
    C

    Hello Prashanth,
    It may not be as simple as adding an http header through the Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) in the stack. The web page is returned by both the Parallel Page Engine in OC4J_Portal and the Web Cache, not by the OHS. Since OHS doesn't play a role in the response, it is not possible to tag the headers.
    You could consider to install a reverse proxy server (e.g. Apache 2) in front of your web cache and add the header tag in this configuration. That should work.
    Thanks,
    EJ

  • Help with creating a doubly linked list

    So I have been working with this file our teacher gave us, which is his own "list" ADT which I posted below (with out the comments so it doesn't stretch the page for ever)
    My question is, I cant really creat a DLL from this because I have nothing for the head, no previous or next or any of that...So could some one help me get off to the right start? Some of my class mates were like "create a SLL and then reverse it" well thats all fine and dandy but how?
    A couple other student said "With this DLL i only had to write two lines for each method to implement the list"...Can that be done? Theres NO documentation any where on a DLL for java, and the linkedList in the java api...I dont think that's a DLL...
    I SERIOUSLY need a nudge in the right direction....
    package assignment.four.utilities;
    import java.io.Serializable;
    public interface List<E> extends Serializable
         public int size ();
         public void clear ();
         public boolean add (int index, E toAdd) throws NullPointerException,
                                                                     IndexOutOfBoundsException;
         public boolean add (E toAdd) throws NullPointerException;
         public boolean addAll (List<? extends E> toAdd) throws NullPointerException;
         public E get (int index) throws IndexOutOfBoundsException;
         public E remove (int index) throws IndexOutOfBoundsException;
         public E remove (E toRemove) throws NullPointerException;
         public E set (int index, E toChange) throws NullPointerException,
                                                                IndexOutOfBoundsException;
         public boolean isEmpty ();
         public boolean contains (E toFind) throws NullPointerException;
         public E [] toArray (E [] toHold) throws NullPointerException;
         public E [] toArray ();
         public Iterator<E> iterator ();
    }Again with my statement. Using that List ADT HOW do you even get started in the right direction to creating a DLL? I can use this to create an array list but i dont think i can for a dll?

    Ok thats fine and dandy but we never learned how to make a DLL we learned last semester how to make a SLL and I kinda get that but again with the So, you know how to make an SLL? Then I would suggest starting with that. For instance, you know how to define a Node or Element or whatever-you-want-to-call-it class that holds Data and Next? Start with that, and see if you can work out how to add a Previous.
    "there's nothing on DLL's" except for the same line over and over "They go backwards and forwards" and Im sorry but that doesn't cut it......So, [url http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ijae2WHdc9I]you know how to count blocks, but you don't know how to count oranges? That is, you know how to make forward links in a list, but not backward links? Really?
    Is there any examples of Java Dlls implementing lists and bla?I'm sure there are plenty, and I'm sure your google works as well as mine.
    like we cant implement any thing else as far as I know, it can only be this list....When I said you need to implement the various pieces, I meant in the normal English sense of the word, not in the Java keyword sense. Implementing a Node in the general sense is part of "implements List" in the Java keyword sense.
    I know the asking for a sample implementation might be considered cheating in some peoples books Yup.
    but i learn best from examples, explanations and what not...There's a world of difference between an example of a different use of the concepts that you're trying to learn and just doing your work for you. Whatever concepts this lesson is teaching that are being tested and reinforced by this homework, you can find plenty of examples without somebody providing a DLL implementation for you.

  • How can I add usable links to e-mail?

    I am trying to include a link to my garden blog, within an e-mail message. I need to make it "clickable"... have received these live forward links, so I know it's possible. I tried typing it in, with the "http://" first, but it still doesn't work. I'm using regular Apple Mail, but can find no help. Thanks, in advance, for any assistance!

  • HELP: is it possible to have my own domain name forward to a .mac/iwebblog?

    Just got a macbook pro last week. brand new to this/have no idea what i'm doing. want to get my own domain name. is it possible to buy a domain name ie
    'Testing123.Com' and have it so that when i publish my blog on my .mac/iweb account, the domain name forwards/links to the .mac blog?
    in other words, the .mac/iweb blog address is too long/convoluted...i want something catchier. so is it possible? please advise...would be eternally grateful. thanks so much,
    Emily

    Emily:
    Yes, you can purchase a domain name and have it forwarded to your iWeb produced site. You'll need to buy the name first. GoDaddy.com seems to be a very popular site to purchase domain names.
    Do you Twango?

  • Can I use my epson sx425w stylus wireless printer with my macbook air?? if so how do I link it as Im struggling to get it connected wirelessly

    Ive recently bought a macbook air and have an epson sx425w wireless printer which has been excellent
    when used with my previous laptop and im reluctant to purchase another when its in perfect
    working order, I just cant seem to link it to my macbook for some reason, I cant find my instruction
    manual for the printer but do remember it was fairly straight forward linking it to my lap top
    before?!
    hoping someones had similiar problem and has a resoloution !! help please

    I checked the Epson (U.S.)  website, and found nothing at all about this model printer - no support, drivers, etc.
    I also checked Apple's websites, and found they do offer support for the SX420W.

  • Forwards that are deleted by Struts Page Flow

    I'm using JDev 9.0.5 preview and I'm having some problems with Struts page flow.
    I create a forward link from a Data Action to a Page forward, then I edit this forward link to send a parameter to the Page Forward. To do that, I change the path of the forward link from /menu.do to /menu.do?include=/UT1.do.
    Then if I run this project, everything work fine and Im able use the parameter, but if I close Struts page Flow, when I will reopen it, the Forward link will be erased (not just the parameter I added, the Forward link).
    I do this because I dont want to include a header and a footer in all my pages, I want to do it the order way around : I want to the same page (which will contains a header, a body and a footer) to have the page that it receives in parameter as a body. For example, if this call is made : www.xxxxx.com/menu.do?include=/UT1.do, the page menu.do will include the page /UT1.do.
    Does anyone know how I could prevent JDev from deleting my forward links or does anyone know an easier way to pass parameter between a Data Action and a Page forward.
    Thanks
    Jrme Roberge

    I had the same problem when I used a parameter named "event". I changed the name of the parameter to pmode and this seems to have fixed the problem. I am not 100% sure yet. The parameter names "event" and "include" may conflict with some automatic features of JDeveloper.
    Another thing that happened while I was using "event" was that my web.xml was overwritten with a very basic/generic web.xml file - as if JDeveloper thought that it was creating a new project.

  • Link to the Spry Forums under the DW categories.

    Hello,
    All of the Dreamweaver forums are scattered with Spry questions because people do not know where to the find the Spry forums. As its under Labs instead of dreamweaver, because Spry is still in "prerelease".
    If its all listed in one topic is easier for users to find answers to there questsion instead of having to search 4 different places on the forums to hopefully find the answer they are looking for.
    Don't think that the Search options are going to help you find the Spry forums because the massive amount of options put in the category select lack of any autosuggest feature and the size makes it an immense task to even find the category you are looking for.
    So what I suggest is..
    1, move the Spry Labs forum under the Dreamweaver category listing
    or
    2, provide a forwarding link in the dreamweaver category listing to the correct location for Spry questions.
    When I talk about the Dreamweaver category listing I'm talking about this page:
