    How do I forward a message to an email account?

    Copy & Paste, some messages in certain Apps can be Directly emailed..

  • Email attachment not included in forwarded message - no error message given

    A coworker of mine was trying to forward a large 25.6MB pdf over the AT&T network.  She downloaded entire message before hitting forward and selected "include attachments" when given the option.  She could see the icon for the attachment at the bottom of the forwarded message, but the recipient doesn't receive the attachment and it is not reflected in the sent email.  There is no warning or error message given.  She could forward this from her desktop account, so it doesn't seem to be a server based limit on attachments..
    This is an exchange server email account and an iphone 5.
    Any ideas?

    I too am experiencing this behavior, however, for some reason that I do not know, the attachments appear ok one day and then they appear embedded. This is becoming detrimental to my work!
    Is anyone looking into this at Apple?

    An e-mail message with a Word-attachment that was
    sent by forwarding was not interpreted correctly by
    Mail. The attachment is shown as inline undecoded
    data:

    Content-Type: application/msword;

    To reproduce this, I sent an e-mail with a Word
    attachment to my own address, using Thunderbird on a
    Linux machine. After that, I forwarded the received
    message with the attachment again to my own address.
    In Thunderbird, the forwarded message shows the
    attachment correctly, but in Apple Mail (2.1), that I
    use with the same e-mail account (IMAP), the original
    message shows the attachment correctly, but in the
    forwarded message it appears undecoded in the message
    body (see above).
    I searched the forum and found similar issues, but
    not exactly what happens here. Also, no solutions
    provided helped me to solve this problem. Any
    ideas?

    I'm using a Mac Air with Thunderbird 34.0.
    When I forward an email, for some reason it now includes all of the headers at the top of the new forwarded message that I'm creating ... making quite a mess.
    It looks like this below. How do I make it go away?

  • I need to forward some photos and I keep getting this message " the email server didn't recognize your user name or password.

    In trying to forward some photos, I keep getting the message:
    The email server didn't recognize your user name
    and password.

    First go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete the email account that's there.  Close iPhoto, reopen and add your email account to the Accounts preference pane and try again.
    Next, and IMO the better solution, set Mail are the email client for iPhoto in iPhoto's General preference pane:
    This gives you better access to your contacts, a sent copy and, if you need a layout like iPhoto gives you, similar layouts in iPhoto's stationary option.

  • Looking for help with respect to configuring MS Exchange server to handle attachments over 10 MB for forwarding to Salesforce (Email-to-case).

    Looking for help with respect to configuring MS Exchange server to handle attachments over 10 MB for forwarding to Salesforce (Email-to-case).
    Problem - SFDC does not create cases from emails that have more than 10 MB of attachments. Our clients will not go-live if their clients cannot send in emails with attachments over 10 MBs
    Potential resolution - Configure MS exchange to strip off the attachments(if over 10 MB) and store it in a public folder, forward the email to Salesforce (so the case gets created or the email
    is associated to an existing case), the client should have some way to know if the attachments were stripped off and should be able to dlownload the attachments and continue with case resolution.
    Any help is appreicated!
    Thanks

    Hi,
    From your description, you want to achieve the following goal:
    Configure Exchange to filter the attachments if the size is over 10 MB and store it in a public folder, and then forward the email to Salesforce.
    Based on my knowledge, I'm afraid that it can't be achieved. Exchange can filter messages with attachments, but it couldn't store these attachments on public folder automatically. Also, I don't see any transport rule can do it.
    Hope my clarification is helpful.

    Do you mean they get sent as headers, or are they part of the message body when they arrive? It will append whatever headers are currently displayed.
    Also, it's not a good idea to post your email on a public bulletin board like this unless you enjoy getting a lot of spam.

  • Improper rendering of forwarded message in Outlook Express

    I am not able to view forwarded mail (not properly rendered) in Outlook
    Express although in Microsoft Outlook, it views fine. The forwarded

    I have copied below the code and the message.
    The following code is being used to create the forwarded message:
    String subject = oldMsg.getSubject(); //oldMsg is the MimeMessage to be forwarded.
    MimeMultipart mp = new MimeMultipart();
    MimeBodyPart bp = new MimeBodyPart();
    bp.setContent( "", "text/plain" );
    mp.addBodyPart( bp );
    MimeMessage msg = new MimeMessage( mailSession );
    msg.setFrom( from );
    MimeBodyPart bp = new MimeBodyPart();
    bp.setContent( oldMsg, "message/rfc822" );

    mp.addBodyPart( bp );

  • EOF error message in email.log

    Hello. We are having problems sending out an email through
    our CF-based application using cfmail.
    We are seeing the following record in mail.log:
    "Error","scheduler-8","11/04/08","15:10:23",,"[EOF]"
    I gather that EOF stands for end of file, but I'm not sure
    what that really means in this case. Is it a timeout? If so, why?
    In this case, there are a lot of email addresses in the bcc
    field, so that may be the culprit. But, even so, we're not sure if
    there are bad email addresses in the list that are causing the
    problem or just too many to process before a timeout, or something
    else.
    Any ideas about how to further diagnose this?
    There was a previous discussion about this issue at the link
    below but there was no real explanation of what the EOF error

    Refinedtita, thank you for sharing your concerns about your Droid Razr. I'm sad to hear that the only thing you like about the phone is the Gorilla Glass, because this is a great device. As the other forum members have posted, your email account seems to be setup strangely. You say you have all three email accounts synced so that the same emails go to each account? Do you have the emails forwarded from one email account to the others? Do your emails also show duplicated if you login to each Hotmail or Gmail account from your Browser or a computer?
    I would suggest removing email accounts also, starting with the two Hotmail accounts since removing the Gmail account generally requires a hard reset. If you have any forwarding setup on your home computer, remove that setting.
    Let us know if you need additional assistance.

  • Mime attachments / forwarded messages

    It seems when I receive a forwarded message on any of my mail accounts using my iPhone, all I see is a mime icon that is unable to be clicked. I have checked to see if the message as been downloaded (they are). It appears to happen with aol messages sent.
    Now, when I view the same messages on my macbook pro using Safari, the messages appear as they should. Is there a setting that I have missed?
    Thanks.

    No such missing setting but some email clients when forwarding a received message that was composed in HTML especially, forwards the received message as an attachment instead of a true forwarded message and this can also occur when sending the same type of message via webmail access using a browser depending on the email account provider.
    MIME 1.0 is the industry standard for attachment encoding and decoding and when an email client receives an attachment file type that is not recognized or supported, MIME attachment will be displayed for the attachment instead.
    This seems to be a limitation with the iPhone's email client since I can also read the same type of received message with the Mail.app on my Mac but the root of the problem probably stems from using HTML for message composition which Microsoft wrought upon the internet with Outlook and Outlook Express. If HTML for message composition was no longer supported, the majority if not all problems associated with email exchange would be eliminated and Windows sufferers would improve their swiss cheese for security operating system and MS email clients somewhat.

  • Cannot forward messages

    I have four email accounts in Thunderbird. When I try to forward message with imbedded attachment I get a message that "Sending of message failed" "The message could not be sent....... SMTP server plus was lost in the middle of the transaction."
    If I switch to another account to send, it works fine. I checked the setting and they are all the same.

    Thanks, Stewart

    McAfee, but I've disabled it no change. And the problem is intermittent. Good thought though, Thanks

    The home screen is the screen that shows all of your app icons. You can have one home screen or up to 11 home screens depending on how many apps you have. The home screen on an iPad is the equivalent of the desktop screen on a computer. If you are using an app, just tap the home button once to return to a home screen.
    This is is a (my) home screen.
