I am having trouble sending forwarded picture mail messages to users whom aren't sprint customers. Is it possible? If so, please let me know how to accomplish this.

Hello and thank you for using the Palm Help Forums!
I don't know if it really matters with carriers but if it does you may need to ask Sprint. It could be that the phone saves them in a format that the phone you are sending them to you cannot read. It's just a guess but you may want to ask Sprint.

  • Cant send picture mail on my Sprint 8330

When I try to send picture mail I'm asked to pick from a contact list, which is empty. I can't find instructions on how to add someone to the contact list for picture mail. Can anyone help?
    Thanks!

Are you trying to mail someone by attaching pictures?
If so then you need to have pictures in your picture folder. Now compose a new email and click Menu and select Attach File -> Choose your desired pictures and click trackball. You're done!

  • When I forward pictures from within an e-mail (Yahoo or Verizon), pictures are deleted.

For the past month or two, when I forward e-mails that have pictures incorporated, the pictures are not received. Recipients report getting CID followed by numerous letters and and numbers in place of pictures. I have run a full scan on the PC with Norton and have re-loaded Firefox. Nothing has worked. I had a long chat with Verizon and they could find nothing wrong with their e-mail. Their only suggestion was to reload Firefox (which I did). I don't want to change to a different browser, but this has become very frustrating. Can you please help? Thanks.

I associate "cid" images sources with Microsoft Outlook; was that the software in which the images originally were inserted into the message body?
In case one of your extensions is involved, could you try forwarding a message to yourself in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled ''(Flash and other plugins still run)''
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)
    Any difference?

Unfortunately in a "forwarded" message that "select the size"  is not present in the lower right corner.
You can try attachment tamer and see if that helps in your situation.

  • Can anyone help me with this problem?? Internet and Picture mail stopped working?

I just got my blackberry curve (8330) about a month ago, and about two weeks ago, my internet and picture mail just stopped working. I get the message with the picture in it, but it says I cannot retrieve it. And then when I try to send a picture message, it always fails. As for my internet, it will take  f o r e v e r  to load, then it will say there is a connection error. And I went to manage connections and it says that I'm not connected to the blackberry internet or enterprise server. I've tried "provisioning it" because that is what the person I talked to on the sprint website said to do, but it loads for a few minutes and then says "Provisioning cancelled..."
Has this happened to anyone else?? How do you fix it?

Hi and Welcome to the Forums!
    I suggest the following steps:
    1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > BBKey (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
    2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you!

  • Can't Forward Picture Attachments

When forwarding any email with a large number of pictures attached, the iPad will only forward a small number of the attachments. I've seen it do as few as 2 of 30 and as many as 6 of 19. It doesn't matter which of my accounts I use. The restriction, whatever it is, seems to be on the iPad, not the email account. This is better than my iPhone 3GS, which generally won't forward picture attachments at all, but it's almost as bad. The effect is that I have to wait and forward interesting pictures from a computer.

I have seen the same thing but I have given it time to download the whole e-mail and get the email addressed and ready to forward it exits out to the main screen as I push send. I showed it to the Apple Tech at the store who did not take any notes made me wonder if this is a normal thing.

  • I have an iPhone 4s and I can't send any picture mail whatsoever!!

I have Sprint and with my old phone I was always able to send picture mail. I've call Sprint support several times and they can't do anything about it. I have my cellular data on as well as voice and data roaming. I've reset and rebooted it several times. What can I do?

I'm not sending it through email. I'm trying to send it as a message to another person. So I basically send as a message and it'll get close to sending, but then it'll just fail.

  • Sending Stationary Mail to non-Mac users

Has anyone experience with sending Stationary mail to non-Mac users? The html files that are created in mac OS X require "downloading" when received on PCs. Does this depend on html friendly servers or some settings? Any suggestions?

Having stationary in e-mail is not a new concept. Microshaft was doing it years ago with Outlook Express. The short answer is that you can send e-mail with stationary to a user on any platform.
The need to download the graphics is purely a client side issue. Automatic downloading of graphics in e-mail is normally disabled by default on most modern e-mail clients.
This is due to the fact that spammers would include a picture in their message that was actually homed on a remote server. Once your machine downloads the remote graphic to display in the message, the spammer knows that your e-mail address is valid.
If your client, regardless of whether you are on Windows, OS X, or even web based, if configured to automatically download graphics then stationary will work.

My IPhone 4s can not receive or send picture messages from non Iphones. Also, I do not receive group text if there is someone in the group that does not have an IPhone. thanks for the help in advance.

        Dear bgeorge843,
Good afternoon. Thank you so much for trying the troubleshooting steps provided. Let's try other options in troubleshooting.
First lets reset your network settings. For directions on how to reset your network settings click http://vz.to/19OMzKU . I also noticed you mention you have no problems sending pictures to iPhones. Also, are you the account owner? Have you verified there are no blocks on your account that may restrict you from sending picture messages? We look forward to hearing from you.

  • Unity: Voice-mail for non-Exchange subscribers

    Hi everyone!
I have this issue: customer wants to enable voice-mail for non-Exchange users, I've created them as Internet subscribers for using with auto attendant, but I can't enable voice-mail for these extensions, basically the customer does not want for this users to receive the messages in their mail just only check it on IP phones. Is there a possible way???

  • When I attempt to forward e-mail a box appears with the message: unable to load null status:404, thus preventing me from forwarding an e-mail.l

I checked this out with Verizon tech and it was determined that the problem was with the Firefox browser. With Safari I have no problem forwarding e-mails. This box appeared for the first time on June 15. I have never seen it before. I still am able to send and receive e-mails. The only function that does not work, since 6/15, is the ability to forward an e-mail. I have Firefox version 31.0. I work on an Apple IMac.
I have already re-installed the default version of Firefox, deleted all my history. Nothing has worked to eliminate that message. The Verizon tech person said that there seems to be a problem between my router and Firefox. I don't understand how this problem suddenly cropped up 4 days ago. Will I be able to resolve this or will I have to switch to another browser? One more bit of info: my O.S. is Mac 10.6.8.
    Thank you.
    leonbolo

    Hi leonbolo,
Oh noz, I am sorry to hear that there is an issue with Firefox and the router and that clearing the cache and reinstalling is still causing this issue. We are happy to help.
Please see these also for reference:
*[[Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet]]
*[[Firefox can't load websites but other browsers can]]
Two things I can think of:
*Ping the router from Firefox [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/pingler/ Pingler addon ]
*See if the smtp that the Verizon mail uses is ping able as well. (rebooting the router is the default troubleshooting if it was working before. )
Please post back, it could help other users as well!
