Forwarding shopping carts

Hi experts,
I am currently working on SRM 7.0 and had a query wrt forwarding shopping carts (SC)
There are a lot of incidents where the support team needs to redirect SCs to the assigned approver because the first approver might be on leave. In such instance there is an impact because of POs / SCs being approved with a delay, thus having a business impact.
My 2 qns wrt the same:
1) Does it make any sense in looking at reduction of ticket count for this category of tickets
2) If above is yes, what are the ways it can be done ?
3) If a particular approver is on leave between X date to Y date, can the HRIS system trigger the same and through customized program coding, can a workflow be developed to forward the SCs or POs automatically? What is the amount of effort required for the same.
Trust you can assist with with the same.

Hi,
you can take the help of substitute functionality available in SRM. Then, both substitute and manager will receive the approval work item and substitute can complete the work item in absence of manager.
Thanks and regards,

  • Forwarding Shopping Cart

I have a shopping cart in awaiting approval status,
there is no approver assigned to it,
I got the work item for this shopping cart from BBP_PD and when I go to SWIA to forward the shopping cart to an agent,
it gives error saying work item is cancelled or deleted, hence unable to forward.
how to change the status of the work item?
how to forward this shopping cart?
any alternative to restart the workflow or forward to an angent?
    please advise
    thanks & regards
    milesh.

    Hi,
The workitem id that you are getting from bbp_pd is header workitem ...
you can only forward the dialog workitem. to some one else. you can find the dialog workitem from SWIA in workflow detail log.. if the document is awaiting for approval status without assign the agent, the creator of the document can recalled the document...which then restart the workflow...
it gives error saying work item is cancelled or deleted, hence unable to forward. it means.. workitem has been deleted manully or requestor of the completed delete the document which system force the workflow to change the status..

  • Moving the Shopping Cart workflow forward in a approver Rejects a line item

    Hi Friends,
We a facing an issue while Shopping Cart Approval process.
We have designed our SC Workflow , with Schema and 4 Process levels. Currently the Approvals are happening fine.
Issue is happening when a Line Item is Rejected by a Single Approver. The Approval process does not move forward.
We need need to move the SC process forward.
    Ex: SC: 1000000032
    Approval Flow:
    ITEM1:  APP01 -> APP02
    ITEM2:  APP05 -> APP07
    Scenario:01 :
Once APP01 & APP05 approves in first level.  Then APP02 & APP07 approves . Then the process completes.
    Scenario:02:
Once APP01 Rejects & APP05 Approves in first level. Then the SC WF does not move forward.
How can I move the WF process forward once a approver rejects.
    Need your inputs.
    Regards,
    Jagan

    Hello Markus,
what you describe does not correspond to condition standard determination to know if decision has to be checked or not.
Indeed, this evaluation is done by /SAPSRM/IF_WF_PROCESS_SBWF~IS_DECISION_ACCEPT_REQUIRED method from /SAPSRM/CL_WF_PROCESS_SBWF class.
Inside this method, the default behavior is based on decision of current process level:
    - If it is not "rejected" or not "approved" (this means, if it is "inquired"), there is an interaction
    - else, there is no interaction.
Then, for "rejected" or "approved" decision, a Business Rule evaluation is done in order to check if the document responsible need to accept the current decision.
If evaluation ID is true, acceptance by Contact Person is required.
I am currently not able to check workflow behaviour for partial rejection when no acceptance by contact person is customized.
I will see this next week.
    Regards.
    Laurent.

  • How do I add an already built Shopping Cart  (PHP and MYSQL) application to a page in a Muse site?

How do I add an already built Shopping Cart  (PHP and MYSQL) (Cartweaver 4) application to a page in a Muse site? Do I have to export the Muse site as Html to dreamweaver and them use the extension to bring the shooping cart in or can I do it directly in Muse?
    Message was edited by: mgv2048

We have experimented with doing this with some good success. We have been working on adding Cartweaver to a Facebook page by essentially adding a Cartweaver store to Facebook in an iframe.  The "store" would be pages with just your basic product display, cart, and checkout functionality, with none of the "window dressing" - just use CSS to match the color and general look of the design it's being added to.
The one problem with this for Facebook is when it comes time to check out toy have to leave Facebook and go to your server where an SSL is in place.  Fortunately in this situation this would not be the case, you can have an SSL installed to the root of your site and you'll be okay.
This is an interesting project.  Give this a try and let me know how it goes and if you run into any snags, please make a post on the Cartweaver forums: http://forums.cartweaver.com - I'm really confident that this can work, and not only work, but work well.
Looking forward to hearing how this goes, and being of what help we can.

  • Shopping Cart/Wish List

I have been a long time iTunes store shopper, and traditionally I've always looked forward to the updates, but one of the changes in the most recent version really irks me. I absolutely cannot stand the new wish list feature. In my opinion, it's a buggier, worse version of the shopping cart, and I seriously wish they would just bring the old one back.
But, since that probably isn't going to happen, I have some questions in hopes of making the new "feature" a little easier to deal with:
    1) Is there any way to make the wish list sort by genre? It used to be really nice with the shopping cart when I could sort through whatever music I had in it by the kind of music I was in the mood for. This is one of many features which, as far as I can tell, is gone.
    2) Is there any way to make it so the wish-list page doesn't reset each time you buy a song? Every time I buy a song, the page refreshes back to the top of the page with all my previous sorting set back to default. This is HIGHLY annoying when I want to buy more than one song, and I have to re-search for the next one after buying the first.
    3) Is there any way to see all your wish-list music on one page rather than having to sort through the 4-5 pages I currently have?
I really appreciate what Apple was trying to do with the Wish List, but unless I'm missing something, they took out more features than they added. Simple ones that make a big difference. I think they aimed it more for people who want to go through and pick a lot of music, and then buy it all at once. They took out a lot of what made large shopping carts easy and quick to navigate and buy from. I for one used the shopping cart more as a place to store all the music I EVENTUALLY wanted to buy rather than a more immediate place to chuck my upcoming purchases. Every time I saw a song on iTunes that I liked, regardless of my immediate intent of buying it, it went in the shopping cart. I may not get to it for months, but it would stay there, and I could get to it easily when I wanted to.
I highly doubt I'm the only person who used it like that, and for those of us who did, I think the wish-list is a crappy alternative.

Well after my post on this very issue was removed (because it was deemed more feedback than a question - which I'm fine with), it would likely have helped.
As far as I can tell, there is only ONE WAY to get to your shopping cart, er, wish list.
    1) Login
    2) On the left bar (the section where your shopping cart used to be, along with your playlists), you have to click on iTunes Store. You'll see your Wish List in the Quick Links section...
Thats it. Clicking anywhere else, like the 'Home' link or whatever, will not help you...if this is all too crazy, yeah, it is. I mean, making it difficult to purchase sounds really, um, crazy, particularly if you shop by shopping cart - which means you actually spend money on more music than "single buy". Ugh!
On the other question on how to "Add to Wish List". In the section where songs are listed (with fixed sized columns that you can't adjust in this version - had to rub that in), you'll see a button to "BUY SONG". To the right of that text is an arrow (in the button, not another column) that if clicked gives you more options. One of them is to add to your wish list. Can't tell if the fixed sized columns are also affecting your view (maybe you're not seeing the entire button?).

  • PR to Shopping Cart

    Hi,
I have created one <b>PR(Purchase Requisition)</b> in backendSAP . But the entry is not passing to the table EPRTRANS, which is responsible for transferring PR to <b>Shopping Cart(SC)</b> in EBP .If I created entry manually in EPRTRANS and than execute the prog. BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER it will transfer the entries from EPRTRANS to EBP as SC & than delete entry from EPRTRANS table which is OK .
Where is the setting required  by which once I create PR in SAP
it will automatically inserted into table EPRTRANS .
    Looking forward your responses.

    Hi Everyone,
I did mention on other thread inside Subject "Creation of Purchase order and workflow" about the similer issue, shared my experience. Hope that help.
    Copy of that.
    Hi Sunny/Manoj,
I missed Sunny last questions on this thread. I hope i can clarify now for both of you.
Yes, As Standard, you can push R/3 PR to Sourcing from MRP, PM or APO.
If you have to push simply from R/3 PR directly, what i meant in the earlier message that you simply update EPRTRAN thru custom program or thru Workflow once PR is saved.
Basically, the BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER looks for entries in EPRTRAN table and push those PRs into SRM sourcing.
I have done this during my development stage in one of project that i do not wait MRP to create R/3 PR though that was actual requirments.
I just put entry into EPRTRANs table in SE16 for R/3 PR to be transferred to SRM, then run BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER. It worked fine.
Per my understanding that it does not check whether the entries in EPRTRANs table, has come from R/3 PR which driven from MRP, PM, else.

  • How to add custom link to shopping cart

    hello,
can anyone tell me how to add a link to the shopping cart page (rather than using the View cart link on the module_shoppingcartsummary)?
also, is it possible to customise the module?
    instead of:
    2 item(s), Total: £0.00 View Cart
    i'd like to display:
    <cart image> My Cart 2 item(s)
    thanks and regards,
    Frank

I am getting pretty frustrated with all the broken links in here. Why can't you guys forward these deprecated links?
If the only results in my searches for help end in broken links to a decrepit website, then you erode any hint of professionalism here.
These links are only a few months old and yet youve shut them down without even a thought of who've you have left hanging.
    We pay for this abuse?
    Argh!

  • Problem with Adhoc approver in shopping cart approval

    Hi Experts,
We have Classic  and extended classic scenario in our SRM 5.0 system. Though in the settings the extended classic  scenario is not set,  based on the product category PO will be created for the respective scenario.
In extended classic scenario the above mentioned two scenarios are executed with out error.
Now we have a problem with the two cases  :
whenever adhoc approver is added in the classic scenario for n-step Shopping cart workflow , the workflow is in infinite loop. work item is again in approvers inbox  even after approval.
The same scenario is repeating  when we forward the workitem to other user for approval
Could someone explain why the workitem is again in inbox ?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Phanidhar

Adhoc Agent must be getting filled with the same approver everytime and it is sending the workitem. Check the Workflow log and try testing the workflow alone.
Another option is, if you are not using Adhoc agent assignment for this task is to create your own Agent Determination Rule with function module using transaction PFAC.

  • Shopping Cart change by approver is not updating in approval preview screen

We are using SRM 4.0 in ECS and have been noticing a problem with the approval preview on the shopping cart when the shopping cart is changed or rejected by one of the added approvers.
The shopping cart was created with multiple line items for materials and when the shopping cart was ordered it workflowed to the 1st approver that was added.  He noticed that a price was wrong on one of the line items of the shopping and proceeded to change it and then approved the SC.  The approval preview screen in the SC shows that it was approved but the preview does not show that it was forwarded to the next approver listed on the preview screen.  However checking in the backend I'm showing the SC sitting in the inbox of the next approver stating: Your shopping cart 'MD D&C LL1 dvf Vetco-Subsea Wellhead Eq' was changed/rejected in part. Please check.
Why isn't the approval preview updating when the SC is rejected or changed?

    hi,
This  behaviour of the system is as follows , when the first approvers makes the changes and then approves the cart , it will go to the requestor of the shopping cart , and wether the workflow should restart --->
depends on the security level of the approver who is changing the cart -->
you can find the security level of the approver --> in the transaction SU01 ---> persononalization tab ---> key bbp_wfl_security
and the text you have mentioned --->
Your shopping cart 'MD D&C LL1 dvf Vetco-Subsea Wellhead Eq' was changed/rejected in part
this is for the requestor of the cart ---> this is mail which specifies that the first approver has partially approved the cart.

  • Default frame in shopping cart

    Hi All,
i am working an issue which is in shopping cart screen default frame.
after logon into shopping cart screen, you can see 'EXTENDED DETAILS' button. once you click 'EXTENDED DETAILS' button that will change as 'Simplify button' along with some more fields add into shopping cart screen( say for example custom fields).
my requirement is when ever user log on and clicked shopping cart create button. the shopping cart screen should display 'EXTENDED DETAILS' view which contains the custom fields instead of 'Simplify details' view.
Is there any way to do that, plz help me out.

    Hi
Which SRM Version are you using ?
<u>As soon as you add customer fields (Refer SAP OSS Notes 672960 and 485891) to the Shopping cart (say at Item Level ) these fields are displayed in the the Basic data section (Item level) as well as the Search Criteria (in Extended search) functionality automatically.</u>
As per your business requirement, when ever user log on and clicked shopping cart create button, then the shopping cart screen should display 'EXTENDED DETAILS' view which contains the custom fields instead of 'Simplify details' view.
<b>This is Standard SAP functionality. These changes are not possible until we do modification to the HTML Templates in the Internet Service (BBPSC01) using SE80 Transaction.</b>
I have not tried the same, but i don't think it possible (or might be - not sure), as there is a maximum limit of displaying fields in the Shopping cart Basic Data / Search functionality section.
You must have noticed as soon as the number of fields displayed on the Shopping cart exceeds (say more than 10 fields - including Standard and custom fields), there is automatically a  button feature ">>" / "<<" gets enabled to either go forward to the next page or come back from to the previous page for display of fields. <u>Therefore, as per my view, you can change the text lable of the 'EXTENDED DETAILS'  button / 'Simplify details'  button, but this might not help. Moreover, this might cause side-affects to the existing Shopping cart functionality. So be very sure, before making changes to the respective HTML Templates involved in this case.</u>
Incase this does not help / need more details, please raise a Customer OSS message with SAP to get precise details before making Template changes.

  • What's the best way to integrate third party shopping carts with ATG's (10.6)?

    Hi,
We are using ATG (10.6) for our e-commerce platform and we have many other websites which try to engage the end user to buy our products.
Those other websites are developed using different technologies but we would like to allow the visitor to click a buy button and add things to a local shopping cart. That "generic" Shopping cart will be hosted locally in the website and only when he/she tries to "check out" we will forward them to e-commerce (ATG) main page, but the ATG's shopping cart has to have all the item he/she selected previously on the website.
    How can that be done?
    1) In the best possible way?
    2) In the simplest possible way?
    Regards

    Hi,
    We have seen that. Thanks.
Now, how could we add multiple tiems to ATG's shopping cart before redirecting the user to ATG's home?
    The scenario we see is:
User navigates on a Marketing website, spots items he/she is interested in and add them to the LOCAL shopping cart (without leaving the current website), after adding many items he/she decides to buy these items buy clicking FINISH, at this moment we add the N items to ATG shopping cart (how??) and redirect the user to ATG's home.
    Is that possible?
    Thanks

  • Shopping Cart going to Sourcing cockpit!!

    Hi Experts,
We are in SRM 5.0 EBP 4.0 in extended classic scenario. In a particular scenario we find that the even after the Shopping cart was approved and the preferred vendor added by the purchaser, the shopping cart went into the sourcing cockpit ( the sourcing relevant indicator is active ) in bbp_pd.
The PO number has not been reserved in bbp_pd.
I find no alerts or messages for the same in bbp_pd,RZ20.
What could be the reason for the same? Can any one provide me a corrective solution so that my problem is resolved and the Purchase order of the same can be generated and posted to the backend system ?
Looking forward for expert comments !!
    With Regards,
    Rajesh Rajendran

    Hi Rajesh,
Could you create an entry to the customize which mentioned above?
Set 'Sourcing is never carried out' for respective product category, then it will create PO. (Although it is imcomplete PO).
However if you are selecting the 'preferred vendor', then the system is only taking this as a suggestion for the purchaser. Since it is not a FIXED vendor, it will create incomplete PO at EBP side.
    Best regards,
    Shiro
