Foto movie transfer to pc

Hello,
I've made some photos and video with my digital camera, then I've transferred them to ipad using the apple usb adaptor (then removed the content from the digital camera).
Now I've connected the ipad to pc but I'm unable to sync photo and video using itunes. I'm able to browse the ipad using it as an usb device, but in the showed folder I only find the photos (and I copyed them to pc), but not the videos. The online tutorial says to have the latest quicktime version, and I've but videos are nto copyed
Do you know how to do?
Moreover do you know if the photos and video that now are on the ipad have been altered/modified during the copy from the digital camera?
Thank you,

If you had FCP 6 this would be easier... you could use ProRes as the transfer file's format, and the PC could install the ProRes plugin for PC's and use the file...
What's the source of your video? DV? HDV? or?
You'll need a common codec that the PC can use... The Animation codec would be cross platform, and it's available as an export from FCP 5. will be HUGE however. But if it were me, I'd not do what you're trying to do. Learn Compressor and DVD SP and author the DVD yourself... much easier. You could use designs though from your PC person if that's what you want to do... you can import files he creates into DVD SP for backgrounds etc...

  • Can i hook a external hard drive to the tc usb port and fire wire from the computer for faster movie transfer ?

Will i be able to hook a WD 3tb external hard drive via the TC USB port for network storage as well as a direct firewire to the same WD 3TB external hard drive for faster transfer of home movie for storage?

In general, no.  I do know of any drives that support simultaneous use of the USB and Firewire ports.  (Or eSATA, if equiped.)  I have several USB/FW drives from Seagate, Western Digital, Iomega and others that I used my own hard drive and none allow this.

  • Movie transfer time compared tp download time

i bought a movie on another computer (because mine didnt have the internet hooked up yet) and it took almost 13 hours to download and then quite a while for it to be put on my ipod, but then when i hooked up my ipod to my computer to transfer it to my computer it took less than a minute for the whole thing to be copied on to my computer. but if i can transfer it from my ipod to another computer in such a small ammount of time then why does it take so long for it to download from itunes??
oh and does anyone know why there are no movies or tv shows in the other countries itunes stores?

Download and sync/transfer times are dependent on many factors. Download time depends on you connection speed, general network congestion, and file size.
Transfer time is also dependent on connection type. USB1, USB2, and where files are stored.
With my setup I have my files on a network drive that I usually connect to over wireless for syncing. This takes longer than when I go down and plug the laptop in with an ethernet cable to the router. The whole setup is slower that it could be because of the network storage but I like the backup abilities of the network storage.

  • Nokia n95 movie transfer???

Hi! I'd be very happy if someone tell me how can i put som movies in my n95? Seems that it's not avaible so easy. If it try to transfer files from my computer to n95...Phone cant't read that kind of files? What should i do? SORRY my bad English, Finnish yuo know! Anyway thanks, if some1 answer to me.

As chillout_ice says, you can convert the file to a format which will be recognised by your phone. You can use the Nokia Multimedia Player (comes with PC Suite) to do this. Open the file within NMP and then click on the "Convert & Save" button.
Now you just need to transfer the saved file onto your memory card!

  • Movie transfer to ipod

We purchased a movie in itunes last night. The movie plays fine in itunes will not allow us to transfer to a 4th generation nano. No error message just an x when selected for transfer.

    Hey there,
Even though you purchased the movie from the iTunes store, it may not be an iPod compatible format. To change this, locate the video in your iTunes library, and right->click on it and choose "Create iPod or iPhone version."
When it has finished converting, try resyncing the newly converted video to your iPod and see if that helps.
It may also be a good idea to make sure you have your iPod set to sync videos as well. Instructions on how to do this can be found [HERE|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1333].

  • Movie transfer without sound

I have tried to transfer Movies from my computer to the IPOD. The movies are in the Mpeg format and were first converted in IPOD readable format using "convert selection to IPOD' in ITunes. After transferring the movies, we do not hear the sound in the IPOD. When we play the same movie in ITune, it plays with the sound. Pls. advise what might be going wrong in this case.
IPOD 80 GB   Windows XP Pro

Quicktime or Quicktime Pro (which iTunes uses) don't convert "muxed" ( muxed means multiplexed where the audio and video are stored on the same track) video files properly. It only plays the video and not the audio.
See:iPod plays video but not audio.
You need a 3rd party converter to convert the file with both audio and video.
See this for help: Guide to converting video for iPod (Mac/Windows).
Please watch for spammers trying to sell you a converter. Don't fall for it.

  • Movie transfer..

    hello..
i have movie in my macbook i need to transfer that movie to DV cassette, how do i do that,( not to DVD )
    computer to DV cassette
    thank you for your help
    Rod

Assuming the movie you have in FCE is DV and you have a DV camcorder or VTR, connect the DV recording device to your Mac via Firewire. Set it to Record mode and if it's a camcorder, set it to Firewire input (aka iLink, DV, IEEE1394).
Next, launch FCE and open your project. Make sure the Timeline is fully rendered and set the playhead at the beginning. Load a DV tape in the recording device, then hit record then hit play in FCE,

  • Move Transfer rules from BD1 to BQ1

    Dear Friends,
How can we Create and Move the Transfer rules from Development system(BD1) to Quality System( BQ1)
    Regards
    Ramana

    Hi Ramana
Follow these steps to collect your objects in a transport.
    1. In RSA1, you have a tab "Transport Connection" on the left pane. Click on it and you will see various options, for Ex, InfoObjects, DataSources, DTPu2019s etc.
    2. Click on the InfoObjects and expand it, there you will see "Select Objects" option. Double click it and then a windows pops up. You need to put the object names and say Transfer selections.
    3. All you objects will be collected on the right pane. It might collect other related objects like DSO (if those objects are being used in that), the corresponding DataSource, DTPu2019s etc. If you donu2019t need them deselect them and then click on the "Truck" icon on the top.
    4. It will ask for a transport number, there you can click on the "NEW" icon and it will create a new transport for you. All your objects will be collected in that TR.
    To Move the TR
    1. Go to SE10 and select your TR (one u create above).
    2. Expand it and click on the Sub-TR. Then click on the Truck icon on the top to release the TR.
    3. Similarly release the actual TR by clicking on the Truck icon.
    4. Go to T-code STMS and move this TR to the desired environment.
    Thanks in SDN points

  • Movie Transfer Unsuccessful

I'm trying to transfer a video clip from camera into iPhoto but it always comes up as unsuccessful.
    Camera: Kodak EasyShare C613
I can still preview it on the camera. It is an 8 minute movie (about 400MB) indicates that it is transferring over; asks me if I want to keep or delete originals; THEN it tells me it was unsuccessful.
Have also attempted to transfer it via a card reader and from other cameras.
My guess, is that because of the size of the movie I probably turned off the camera before it had time to finish processing(?) and therefore can not complete the importing.
    Any suggestions?

Open Image Capture, plug in the camera and see if you can't upload the movie file manually to a folder on the Desktop. From there import into iPhoto.
Or use a card reader to upload the movie file to the hard drive before importing into iPhoto.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier versions) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. There are versions that are compatible with iPhoto 5, 6, 7 and 8 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
NOTE: The new rebuild option in iPhoto 09 (v. 8.0.2), Rebuild the iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup" makes this tip obsolete.

  • ITunes movie transfer?

is it possible to transfer a movie in my iTunes library to my brothers iTunes library? and how can i do this?
we both operate on windows vista.

While i was downloading a movie from digital copy to my iTunes, a message came up saying that i have used 1 of 5 downloads with that movie. I don't understand what that means.
On the digital copy website it said i could only use the activation code once.
Also I don't remember what the exact message said, but if some one can find it, I'm sure i could identify it.
My overall intent is to copy a movie from my iTunes and transfer it over to my brothers.

  • Rented movie transfer

I have recently been transferring my rental movies from my Mac Pro to my iPod to play on my TV. Is it possible to transfer the rental to a laptop (MacBook Pro) in the same way to play on the TV? Or could I use the laptop to stream the rental from the network to the TV?

The message "you must be connected to the internet ..." is referring to your computer's WiFi connection.
You said "The iPad is plugged into the computer, plus 'it' (meaning the iPad, which is not relevant) has a WiFi connection".
Again, your computer has to be connected to WiFi.

  • Video / Movie Transfer

Can somebody please point me in right direction as to what I am doing wrong with respect of trying to transfer video files into my Itunes Library. The instructions I have read say simply drag and drop, however, I am currently trying to do this with an MPEG-4 Movie file I have downloaded from the net and for some reason it will not show up in the library.
    Thanks

iPods will not play .mp4 files. You need to use iTunes (Import) or QuickTime Pro to convert it to a .m4v for use in your iPod.

  • Movie transfer between computers

    Hi All,
I sometimes download rental movies from the itunes store to my intel imac, but then I want to transfer that movie to my mac mini which is hooked up to my flat screen. Is there an easy way to do it directly and within itunes? BTW, everything's wireless and authorized. Thanks, mj.

"Can I play my rental on more than one device?
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4, iPod touch (4th generation), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer."
