Fotos won't sync

Hi,
I use my iPhone since November and it works just fine. I tried to sync new Fotos but unfortunately we had a loss of power so iTunes was unable to optimize all the pictures. Ever since it always stops syncing at the pictures section, so that I am no longer able to delete or ad or change pictures. It gives me this message (unknown Error -39)
Is there a way to solve that problem without going thru a total renew of iPhone so that I can keep all my settings and SMS?

I would say maybe (just maybe as I haven't tried, but it cannot hurt), in the folder you are syncing to for photos, a hidden folder is made for iTunes Cache (you may have to tell Explorer to show you hidden files if you don't have it set to that already). Killing that folder off should make iTunes redo photo data for your phone.
If that fails, next step sorry to say is do a Restore in iTunes.
It will restore from backup (will give option).
If still messed up after that, then restore again and don't do it from backup.
But I think that Cache folder is your best bet to try.

Ipad Won't Sync Photo PT2!

Just upgraded my Ipad today, it seems that all is well. Except, my photos won't sync. When trying to sync photos (and only photos) it says '"XXXX's iPad" cannot be synced because file cannot be found'
i've tried the following to make it work.
1) turned off sync photos, run sync, turn on again, new sync
2) try setting the iPad up as a new ipad
3) deleting the photo cache file.
This is very annoying, hopefully im not the only one having this issue.

Tried your version, but it did not work, still gives the information in pop up "cant find file".
My Ipad II won't synch fotos faces or any picture content form my mac to my ipad
tried all options in scroll bar on " synch photos from Iphoto / picrures/ select file.

BRAND NEW IPOD SHUFFLE WON"T SYNC WITH ITUNES

Podcasts won't sync - error "no longer exist"

i connected my ipod to sync to itunes. for some unknown reason, itunes was blanked out and when it synced, it wiped everything off my ipod. i reuploaded everything from my hard drive and subscribed to/downloaded podcasts. however, now when itunes syncs with my ipod, i get a message that the podcasts no longer exist so it won't sync. help! i miss my podcasts!!!

It has nothing to do with being authorised, that doesn't affect Podcasts. Plus, you already have them on your computer.
Did you have to change the settings for the Sync Podcasts? If you did, then you may need to perform another Sync to make sure the "change" has been implemented.
If not, then:
Have you previously managed to Sync Podcasts with this iPod?
Are they Podcasts, downloaded as Podcasts through iTunes?
Are they iTunes U programmes?
Are they video Podcasts?
Do you see any error messages when you Sync the iPod with iTunes?
Where, on your iPod, are you looking for the Podcasts?

I have moved my music to my new mac air but now it won't sync with my ipod or my iphone 4s

I have transferred mymusic to my new mac air from an acer laptop via an external hard drive and it's all there on the mac but now itunes won't sync with my ipod touch or my iphone 4s.
With the ipod it says 'iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. Could not connect to the device " It also doesn't show up at all in the devices section.
With the iphone it says there isn't enough space to sync even though I have experimented and unticked various things including photos which takes up a lot of space. It seems like it wants to sync with the empty space on the iphone (very small!) and not with the whole thing. I have tried various things suggested on this forum but have had no luck.

For the enugh space, you are trying to sync too much media to the iPhone

Voice Memos won't sync to iTunes anymore

So for some reason when I sync my iPhone 3G, the voice memos won't sync to my iTunes library.
The "Sync voice memos" box is checked and older voice memos from April and before synced in the past.
Now there's just a Voice Memos folder under my iPhone Tab and the new voice memos won't appear in my iTunes Library at all.
I want to convert them to Mp3 but that option is grayed out under the iPhone Voice Memos folder.
Is this just a bug? I recently bought a new computer running Windows 7, so I'm wondering if this is a common issue with iTunes?
Any suggestions?

IOS4 large Voice Memos won't sync

I just upgraded my iPhone 3G(s) to iOS 4 yesterday and today I'm having problems with large Voice Memos. I use this heavily in my work with memos over 1 hour in length and never had a problem with syncing with my iTunes 9.2 (61) on my iMac/10.6.4.
Using iOS4 for the first time today I made 2 long recordings. One appears to have been corrupted on the iPhone (never happened before) and the other won't sync. I was able to pull both off using iPhone Explorer and the second can be added manually to iTunes and it plays fine.
Is there a bug in iOS4 Voice Memos for 3G(s) in this regard? Any suggestions?

I have this problem as well on a iPhone 3GS with OS4. Seems that OS4 broke some things. I had a 2 hour recording that wouldn't play on the iPhone. iTunes would sync the recording, but when I tried to play it on the PC, the PC kept saying it was not a recognized format. Short recordings worked just fine, just not long ones. Even ones that were just 15 minutes wouldn't work.

Downloaded and installed iPhone Explorer. Looked in the recording directory on the iPhone and sure enough, there was a MOV version of the recording still on my iPhone that was 2 weeks old. Copied it to my desktop and it plays just fine. Thanks guys for pointing out iPhone Explorer. Also found other MOV versions of recordings in that directory that I thought were gone because they were lengthly recordings. Your right, APPLE needs to fix this issue. At some point, all of the left over MOV versions of the recordings will eventually fill up the data space on the iPhone.

Voice Memos won't sync

I have two newly recorded voice memos that won't sync to iTunes. I have no issues syncing other voice memos, it is just with these two specific files. Is there a way to "force" iTunes to sync these files? Alternatively, is there another way to get these files onto my PC (they are apparenly too big to email or message directly from the Voice Memos app).

Voice Memos won't sync to iPhone

I have Voice Memo's in the "iTunes\iTunes Media\Voice Memos" Folder that won't sync across to my iPhone. Is there a way of getting them to transfer across?
I am using iOS 5 and iPhone 3GS 32GB.

believe me, i've got all settings correct.
I've been using voice memo for a long time and now for the first time it just won't sync at all
i've noticed lately that sometimes the voice memo doesn't sync,
I thought I operated wrongly, synced the iphone again, and was able to get the memos out.
BUT NOT THIS TIME
it's like permanently stopped working
I've got an important lecture in there and have to get it out asap
why doesn't apple even allow users to email large memos over wifi at least!??
this is really upsetting and disappointing

There is definitely a problem with iTunes 10.5 and iOS 5.0 syncing correctly. I've seen lots of workarounds on the forums here. Just search for it and see if you can come up with something that works.

Perhaps check to see if you're accidentally running two different versions of iTunes. There's some information on troubleshooting that in the Opening iTunes section of the following document:

My iPhone 5 music purchases won't sync?

I purchased some songs on my iPhone 5 and they won't sync to my iMac. They just sit in iTunes with the empty circles next to them. I have tried multiple syncs, plug/unplug it, and wifi sync but nothing will get them to download into iTunes. Suggestions?
