Fotostream under ios 5.1 ok, under 6.01 not working
On my ipod touch with iso5.1 the photos will update in few seconds. Also the photos i load over the upload function on my win7 pc.
On my ipad 3 with ios6.01 they will not appear.
Any tips????

Unfortunately what you have said is not very helpful and untrue. I have not caused the issues here, there seems to be a bug or design issues here between iOS 5.1.1 and Message 8.0 on OSX. That is what I am asking about.
Maybe what you may mean by your response is that by not upgrading to iOS 7.1, it will not be fixed.
But you can't say 100% that upgrading to iOS 7.1 is the fix, as you don't know 100% what the issue/bug/fault is.
As an aside, I am looking for a solution apart from updating from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 7.1.
I do run iOS 7.1 on my iPhone 4 and have disabled as much as possible and it's still not as good as iOS 6 for speed and regret the upgrade.

PAD Mini Locked after iOS upgrade, tried reset on iPAD did not work, plugged in and device not appearing in iTUNEs for reset/restore. Just get an Apple Logo then a flashing blue screen as if it is caught booting up. This has happened twice before and iTunes restore fixed it. But this time device not appearing in iTunes.

Well, just for future reference, any time you do an iOS upgrade, it is a good idea to back up your device just prior to doing the download. You can back it up to iCloud or to iTunes. Personally, I prefer to back it up to iTunes, and then to do the download via iTunes as well. Doing a Wifi download can, by the very nature of the OTA environment, run into more issues than a hard-wired one via iTunes.
If it is just a version release (like 8.0.1, or 8.0.2), then I might download it via Wifi, since the content is not likely to be very large. But for any major new release (7 to 8, etc.) it is always a good idea to do it via the USB cable rather than OTA.
I would also suggest that you set up your device to do automatic iCloud backups. Whenever it is turned on (i.e., not manually powered off - it can be "asleep"), plugged into a power source, and connected to Wifi, it will do an automatic backup every 24 hours. Mine usually backs up at night.
But even with my iCloud backup in reserve, I still did an iTunes backup before I upgraded to iOS 8. I like having the extra security of that second backup to choose from, should I need it. Here is a support article comparing the two types of backup:

Unfortunately on these days I'm in a country that Apple don't have any retail store here and for sake of time I prefer to fix it myself to DHL it to the nearest country to use its warranty. i upgraded my iphone 4 OS yesterday to ios 5, today morning my phone is not working, i am not able to click any button and also its not allowing me to switch off the phone and restart. Anyone having similar issues?
From my post on what seems like the same issue (found here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/21087892#21087892)
Take the following steps:
1) while connected to wifi, toggle off then back on the Show All Music and iTunes Match options shown in my original post. Important: I did this step before, but wasn't connected to wifi, and my music disappeared. Subsequently, I connected to wifi and turned off and then back on those options and everything came back though it was grayed out and my only option was to download music.
2) To get streaming over cellular back, go into Settings>General>Cellular and scroll down to the "Use Cellular Data for:" options and make sure the iTunes option is set to 'On'
The above steps will bring back the streaming capability which seemed to go away when you update to 6.1. It didn't ACTUALLY go away, but something about the update toggled off the iTunes option in step 2 above.
I did a final test by turning off wifi, opening Music app and selecting a song. It played successfully without downloading! Crossing my fingers, but I think I'm good to go!

IOS 8 Family Sharing "Ask to Buy" not working
If it's not one thing with iOS 8, it's another. I have a iPhone 6, iPad Air, and a child's iPhone 5. I'm setup under my iCloud account as the "Organizer" on the iPad Air and iPhone 6, he is setup as a child, with "Ask to Buy" turned on, on the iPhone 5. When he tries to make an app purchase on the iPhone 5, it says that permission must be granted, with a pop-up notification, and then you can select "Ask." Problem is, I never receive the request on either the iPhone 6 or iPad Air, so I cannot grant permission.
Any solutions?There sticky point appears to be related to what why call the "original" iCloud account vs. a newer iCloud account. In other words only the first iCloud account used to make purchases appears to work with "Ask to buy" feature. In my case I had a very old apple id (@mac, then @me, then @icloud) and after purchasing iPhones for all family members I created a new apple id for me (private backups between my devices). Each of my family members now have their own apple id's. Well, my fairly new apple id (which has payment methods for iTunes/appstore) does not work with "ask to buy" feature. Only the original apple id does. I can't understand why. As an experiment I added the original apple id as a family member in Family share, and set as parent/guardian. That did the trick in terms of receiving ask to buy notifications, but it will remove the ability for me to see shared purchases because there's two" apple ID's set under family sharing.
If somebody figures out how to fix this, please let me know.

Iphone 5 update to IOS 7, now visual voice mail does not work
I updated my Iphone 5 today to ios 7 and when it was done I noticed that when I went into the phone app and tapped on the voice mail icon it immediately dialed into voice mail. Visual voice mail was not there. I looked into some forums and turned on/off airplane mode, turned the phone off and on and reset network settings but it did not work. How can I get Visual Voice Mail working for ios 7

Are you able to access other data applications successfully such as Safari? Are you having a similar issue where if you hit the visual voicemail icon it just auto dials your voicemail? Have you tried leaving yourself a voicemail as suggested by zona?

Just what I said, my iPad 2 upgraded to IOS 5.0.1 from IOS 5 on last week, the built in microphone is not working anymore, I can't record the video with sound, and called my friends with Facetime, they can't heard my voice. Then I already restored IOS 5.0.1 for a few time and built in microphone is still not working. Does anyone iPad 2 has the same issue after using IOS 5.0.1? And anyone can help me to fix this? Thx.
I've read other posts about this, and while it seems an odd coincidence, you likely have a faulty microphone. On the right hand side you'll see similar posts. The majority of people who all of the sudden had mic's that wouldn't work after updating, wound up getting their iPads replaced at the Genius Bar at their local Apple Store. You could try rebotting, by pressing and holding BOTH the home and power buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go fo both buttons and your iPad will restart. If that doesn't work, I would not recommend restoring. Instead, make an appointment at the Apple Store and if found defective it will be replaced. Do remember to create a backup before going. It will make setting up a new device exactly as you had it, much much simpler.

why?If you have iPhone 3G, the latest and greatest is IOS 4.2.1.
If you have iPhone 3GS or later, you can only update to IOS 6.0.1.
For iPhone 5 and iPad mini, you can update to IOS 6.0.2. -
