when I go to open my icloud contacts in outlook I get a message saying the set of folders cannot be opned. The information store could not be opened. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Pages 5.2 is the latest, it was applied to my App Store just 2 days ago. It can only be used on Maverickes though. Since you are in the Mavericks forum, I assume that Mac OS X is no longer 10.7.1 as your profile states.
Double check your Pages' version to make sure it's 5.2.

I need to make groups for him and apple told us we have to do that through icloud on my pc. icloud won't drag and drop contacts to the group - the error message reads that this action is not supported by the browser. Merging outlook contacts with icloud contacts

In outook I have contacts under icloud and different contacts under contacts, hope that makes sense, it is very annoying when emailing and swapping both to find the person I want.
How can I merge both contact lists?

I am using Outlook for exchange on my brand new MacBook Pro. (I'm a first time Mac user, so kid gloves please )
Can I sync my outlook contacts to iCloud?

I noticed one thing I can do.
1. I copied all the contacts from "My Contacts" to "iCloud" and used the duplicate search function to take care of those issues.
2. I made sure there were no contacts left in "My Contacts" and deleted all of the remaining ones.
This solves the initial issue, but I still have the problem. When I add a new contact, Outlook keeps adding it by default to the "My Contacts" group instead of "iCloud." Anyone know how to change what group it adds to by default?

Voice mail will open in Outlook 2010. The form region "UmOutllokAddinRA" cannot be opened.

I'm running Exchange Server 2007, Outlook 2010 and Lync 2010.
Unified Messaging is enabled. When a voice mail is left, the voice mail is delivered to my Inbox, but the message will not open. I get the error "The form region "UmOutllokAddinRA" cannot be opened. Outlook will use the default form instead."
If I have the Conversation History Add-in for Microsoft Lync 2010 enabled, I also get the error "The form region "IPM.Note.Microsoft.Missed.Voice.Region" cannot be opened. Outlook will use the default form instead." Disabling the
add-in clears the error.
Uninstalling Lync did not help so I'm not sure if that is the issue or not. I've tried reinstalling Outlook and Lync to no success.
Any thoughts?

I am getting the same thing with Exchange Server 2010, Outlook 2010, and Lync 2010.
It appears to be a client side error.
Anyone have any ideas on this?

Have you installed the iCloud control panel on the computer? Without that, nothing will sync from the computer to iCloud.

Turned on the iCloud - now my 'Contacts' list in Outlook is 13 names; these same 13 names and numbers are what are now in my phone. There is a new folder in Outlook calls 'Contacts in iCloud' that contains all of the information from my phone. Help???

check in settings > mail contacts calendars, and in the contacts area you should be able to change how the names are viewed

the settings are gone, i guess. But even worse, I cannot get the iPad2 to play Full HD thru the Apple digital AV adaptor using apps that support (and advertise this), like AVPlayer HD. This definiteley used to work before one of the last iOS upgrades. (I am now at 5.1.1).

I install the iCloud Control Panel and information is uploaded from my Outlook Contact folder to iCloud. ICloud folders are created and syncing process between my iPhone, iCloud, and Outlook works for a while (day or 2). Then, when I open Outlook after a day of 2, I get the above message that "The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store could not be opened." The only resolve that I have found is to uninstall the iCloud Control Panel, the reboot my Windows computer, then reinstall the iCloud Control Panel and resync contacts and calendar to icloud. This is getting to be very cumbersome to use this feature. What is the cause of the problem that it keeps on disconnecting to iCloud?

I have also fixed it by uninstalling and then reinstalling iCloud, but as you have experienced, the problem recurs without reason. Apple would/could not help as they say that the problem is with Microsoft's Outlook and that I should talk to them. Outlook 2010 error - The file is corrupt and cannot be opened

Hi experts
Im getting the error - "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened", when opening office attachments in outlook 2010.
I’ve tried disabling the protected view options in office which hasn’t fixed the issue, the only suggestion I have seen which I’m sure would work is to delete
the user profile and recreate. This seems a bit over kill to me, does anyone know what files I need to remove to fix the issue.
