Found a possible web forgery in an extention

I hate redirects. They are liars and trackers that have no need of my info. Ghostery blocks the redirect but there is no way around it. (Ghostery prevented a redirect from ud.ed10.net to adfarm.mediaplex.com, which is part of ValueClick Mediaplex.
So, I went to the addon page to see if there is an extension that will eliminate the redirect and take me to the place I want to go. I found several, but none of them work in FF 30. However, one of them said it is incompatible with FF 30, but only after installation. It is "Redirect Remover 2.6.4". When going to the web site it was flagged as a forgery. Once again, WOT flagged it as untrustworthy. When I bypassed WOT and went to the address, the only thing shown was a Flash logo and a download button that wants you to download something that will help you download faster. Just what I needed, another redirect.
Maybe I could down load faster if I wasn't so busy trying to see if I can or not already. (That's a joke).
It seems there are some people who will stop at nothing to dupe FF users.
Is there a redirect cleaner that will work with FF 30 and fix all redirects, regardless of who they are.

This was a general look see about something I can't remember now. When I clicked on what I know as a trusted link, I got the redirect thing that Ghostery prevented. This is the one that FF said their web site was a forgery. And on the second try at it WOT claimed it was a "dangerous" site. And, being continually curious, I just went to the site any ways. That is when I found the "download" thingy with the Flash logo. It said my down loader was a problem and wanted me to download some kind of download accelerator.

Reported web forgery. Has info gone anywhere prior to this screen popping up?

I received an email from [email protected] asking me to update my account info. As my cc expiry date had just changed so I thought oh damn I forgot. I put in my updated info, then when I hit submit, at least I think that was what was on the bottom, don't honestly remember, any way a screen for "Reported Web Forgery" popped up. I got out of there I did not go any farther but did my information go anywhere? Looking closer at the email, there it DHgate.com web address at the bottom. Please put my mind at ease! Thank you. Report Web forgery feature not resulting in phishing website being blocked

I received a phishing email 24 hours ago in Thunderbird (which correctly identifies it as an email scam) pretending to be from BT Online; I followed the link (http://gaazx.ridgewaywebsites.co.uk/bbttinde.html) to ensure the site had been reported as a web forgery, but it showed the site normally, without the web forgery alert. I then proceeded to report it as a web forgery, and got a confirmation from Google (!), but when I checked back later the site was still showing up normally. I have reported the site again several times, but it remains showing as normal. I'm concerned the forgery reporting tool is not working, and less wary users may be falling foul of this scam.
This process is one I've done many times before for other phishing sites, to help prevent unwary users falling foul of these nasties, but I've never had problems before.
I'm using Firefox 3.6.8, with NoScript 2.0, AVG Free 9.0.851 and Online Armor 4.0.0.15 Free as security.

Google has decided that my new form is a web forgery, and Phising attempt. The form is now useless and the client is not happy. I've submitted a report to Google to try and get this sorted out, but hope you can offer some advice to avoid this in future. Otherwise the product is useless.

CR 2008 dependence files cannot be found during the web setup project build

Please anyone who knows why dependence files cannot be found?
CR 2008 dependence files cannot be found during the web setup project build. Nevertheless, this problem did not prevent the project from being installed on the server but I need to know why it couldn't be found? while I'm having the latest service packs installed on my development machine (SP0, SP1, SP-Fix 1, 2, 3 and 4 including ClickOnce and Merge Modules).

CR 2008 for VS has a merge module that will be copied to the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules for example (CRRuntime_12_1.msm, CRRuntime_12_1_da.msm, CRRuntime_12_1_de.msm, u2026).
According to CR documentation in order to deploy a project which uses a crystal reports we have to including one or more of these files in the setup project (Merge Modules).
As I understand these files can help the setup project to know which dependence files are needed for the application to be deployed successfully with CR.
You mentioned
(The merge modules for Crystal Reports 2008 SP1 are dependent on the C++ library files from 2005 SP1.) I understood the above message.
But what did you mean by this? What are the merge modules that you are mentioning hear?
(I know this isn't what you want to hear but the merge modules just aren't available any other way. Microsoft doesn't have them available for download, and we are not permitted to make them available.)

Web Forgery popup on every auction i go to on ebay

I went to surf on ebay today and every auction I went to had this message:
This web page at vi.ebaydesc.com has been reported as a web forgery and has been blocked based on your security preferences.
I was surfing ebay yesterday and everything was fine.
I am wondering why this is?

In "Tools", "Options", "Security", I unclicked "Block reported web forgeries" so that now I can see the descriptions on eBay. However, Mozilla needs to get this figured out so that it's not necessary to do this in order to see the eBay descriptions.

" APPLICATION NOT FOUND" while deploying Web dynpro java Application

This error comes generally when your webdynpro project does not have an application. To create an application in your webdynpro project follow the underlying steps:
<Project>->WebDynpro->Applications ---> right click and create New Application.
Follow the steps to create the application.
Now if you create archive and deploy, it will not give you the error again.

Acrobat File Not Found After Printing Web Page

Here is my problem:
I am trying to print a web page from our intranet but once the process is complete, a log file opens saying:
"The system cannot find the file" and then it lists the file I just tried to create.
The page is basic HTML with a small amount of Javascript. Disabling the Javascript had the same problem.
The page is about 30 pages long. Only printing the first page had the same problem.
Printing to PDF on an external site had the same problem.
I tried the same process in Office and ran into the same problem.
Here is what I am doing:
I am opening the web page in the browser. I go to File > Print. I select "Adobe PDF" as my printer. I do not make any edits to the settings.
Here is my environment:
Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard
Windows XP SP3.
Tried it both in Firefox 3.6 & IE 7.
"Acrotray.exe" is running in the background.
Acrobat is completely updated.
Is it a setting issue? Possibly a software conflict issue?

Here are answers to your questions:
No, I cannot print to PDF from other applications.
I do have have the checkboxes to request filename and open in Acrobat selected.
I do not get an error from Distiller during the process of creating a PDF. It isn't until it is completely done that the log file pops up that simply says, "The system cannot find the file" and lists the file location (i.e. c:\users and settings\desktop...).
Beyond that log file, it looks like everything is running fine.
Let me know if any other information that will help.

No class def found error in web start console.

I use visual J++ to code my applet and I compile it and it runs perfect on my hard drive. So I upload the html and the class file and all the images to my web directory and then go to my browser (IE) and load up the html and the applet fails to run. The java webstart console gives me a no class def found error.
Well. I have 1 java file to compile but when j++ compiles it, it creates 2 class files and the 2nd class file has a $sign in its filename. Example: filename$generic.class
Well the web server will not accept any filenames with $ in them for upload so I can't upload this file to the www folder. But the applet apparently requires this class file to run the applet.
Anyone have any idea what is this 2nd class file with the $ in its name and why its even there?

Hi.
Java uses the $ sign to create filenames for inner classes. This is why you got this filename. Your problem is now a different one - your app server won't allow you to upload or use a file that has a $ in it's name. What are you using? VMS? (if so - there must be some kind of an escape sequence to allow you
to have a $ in a filename).
I don't know of a way to make the compiler and JVM use a different sign for inner-class separation. However, I know that JDK1.5 uses the '+' sign, so you might want to try and snoop in this direction.
I hate to say that, but you're probably looking at recoding, or changing the platform you put your web server on.

Requested Document Could Not Be Found : Pre-Calculated Web

I get the error : Requested Document Could Not Be Found when I exucte the web report URL with data_mode=static. I have created variants and scheduled them, all things are correct.
I searched the Forum before posting this message. I checked the job overview for the package, its executed. In T-code RSRAPS I see the htm pages.
I could execute the reports yesterday, today I get this error.
Can anyone tell me, whats going wrong. I have tempalte in role, I have access to it.

I have a scenario where a Client is calling a web service in XI using SOAP. The Client gets the response (302) Found. I don't see any message in XI Monitoring (SXMB_MONI).
The URL which is called has the following structure:
http://host:port/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:<service>:<channel>&nosoap=true
Any idea why the call fails, i.e. what the error message (302) Found means?

JSP file not found. server.xml/web.xml problem?

Hi there,
I have a login.jsp that accepts username and password. Once login is approve, it calls main.jsp file as follows using <jsp:forwards>:
if (login != null){
out.println("Login Successful!");
session.setAttribute("sessionUsername", username);
session.setAttribute("sessionPassword", password);
out.println("session started!");%>
<jsp:forward page="main.jsp" />
Problem is that the server returns "file not found", when I'm sure the main.jsp is right there! I suspect there is some configuration problem with the Tomcat, but I donno what. Do I need to edit the server.xml or web.xml, coz I didn't?

please check that the jsp file to which you are forwarding the request exist at the same location where forwarding jsp exists.
