Hi all, I just wanted to post my solution for all my problems with my nokia e63 (maling issues, crash issues, browsing issues, etc), yes, there is a simple way to solve them all and I took it, I just got a Blackberry and now everything runs smooth!! YES!, there is light at the end of the tunel, jajajajajaja I'm so happy to finally get over this nightmare, hope you all find your way out of Nokia's blackhole! Good luck

I simply modified the code to allow for CI and CO tasks, similar to your VI, and it worked fine. I've attatched the modified code below. However, I was unable to run your code without receiving the error you were seeing. Even after I made the VIs identical (leading up to the Start Task VI), I saw different bahavior. The VI that you are working on may have been corrupt. This modified example should be a good starting point.

in my opinion Aperture 1.1 is a killer application for editing files. The support for systems with two displays is the best I have worked with. But there are many fields to improve.
- Quicker, easier and reliable IPTC keywording like iView Media Pro offers.
- Still needed: better conversion of RAW files. Capture one Pro´s Color tools are very precise. When you are shooting portraits stay with C1. I have to open nearly every image converted with aperture within Photoshop. This is barely needed with C1Pro.
- The HUD experience is still weak I think. Tweaking an image exactly is painful because the sliders are too small and sometimes a little move of a slider meens a lot of change inside the image.
- Generated Webpages are full of coding errors. Weird thing: the templates are correct.
- Versions of images should be marked more clearly. Please show me names or Pop-Up notes or something.
- Having a closed vault looks good and sounds cool. But for now my vault holds 36 GB. This will grow quickly. I don´t feel good about it. I could use several vaults. For every month, every year. But am I able to search in all of them at the same time? Does Spotlight searches inside Aperture libraries? I dont think so. iView does. So I use iView to keep an eye on my aperture lib. That sound like a joke...
But I like Aperture a lot. It is a revolution. When I work with images I usually have 2 to 6 versions on my harddrive. Plus backups. One original. One for print, one for the web, one for the client and so on. This is all gone with Aperture. And that´s great. But a revolution is not an easy thing. Many things are to improve. And they have to be improved without loosing this Aperture thing.
My conclusion for now: Aperture is a workhorse. It helps a lot to edit images and to distribute them. It helps to keep images organized.
It is not a digital archival system nor a high precision raw converter. When you are shooting lots of images during events - use Aperture. When you are shooting high quality productions use anything what makes sense to you. Aperture is a version number 1.1 We have to be patient until the revolution evolves. -
When converting tables in a MS Word 2010 or 2007 to PDF the table borders do not retain the correct thickness as identified in the word document. Is there a solution for this issue?
Please try with latest version of MS Word and Acrobat.

However once the OS got upgraded, and now with the Tour, it seems like that is the way it works. Not clear to me why they would have thought this is preferable.

Has anyone found a solution to the issue of default email account on iPhone continually changing?
I am seeing an irritating problem with the default mail account, calendar and contacts list on my iPhone 4.
Every so often (I think it happens randomly after syncing or even just connecting the iPhone to my iMac without syncing) I notice that some or all of my default email account, calendar and contacts list have changed away from my desired default (which is my Exchange account).
The iPhone is running iOS 4.3.5 (8L1) and I'm using iTunes 10.4.1 on my iMac.
I found this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1639451 dating back 2 years to the days of iOS 2.1 without any solution. Googling hasn't helped me find any answers yet.
I have 5 accounts set up on the iPhone - a MobileMe "Find my phone" account that's only used for that purpose, not email, a GMail account, a couple of vanilla IMAP accounts and my main, Exchange 2010-based account that I use for mail, contacts and calendar.
Most frequently after a change I find that the default email has switched to the GMail account, the calendar and contacts lists have switched to my iPhone and most of my Exchange account mail folders are empty and have to re-sync when I tap on them.
I know from Googling that other people have been seeing similar issues.
Has anyone found a workaround or solution?Has no one found any solutions to this?
Or at least what causes it (so that it might be avoided)?
I find it difficult to believe this issue has existed so long in iOS without being addressed! -
Crossing my fingers..found a solution to MMS issue on the LG G2
So, I've been pouring over forum posts here and elsewhere discovering that this MMS sending/receiving issue I've been having is not "just me" and seems to be an android/google issue with no future fix until at the earliest Sept. I was all set to go to my local store and trade it in for a different phone. The service guy there just happened to have the LG G2 as his own personal phone and was confused about this "issue" I was having. He said he's had this phone since earlier in the year and never had an issue. Even since the Kit-Kat update. The biggest difference between how he uses his phone and how I was using mine is that he's always used Hangouts instead of the stock messaging app. Since I read on here that a few others have had success with Hangouts...I figured I'd do a factory reset and start with Hangouts and see if that doesn't work. Just thought I'd suggest this to others to try as a solution. We'll see if it doesn't revert to messing up again in a couple days.
The issue with the LG G2 not receiving MMS is the same across the board for a lot of G2 owners. The issue isn't any different. Some have found fixes or work-arounds, but no one has found a solution. This goes back to a message I posted earlier in the forum community about VZW customer support not having good communication or a support page that provides them with issues. Too many times I have read a reply by VZW support that asks what is going on, or provides a statement that says we want your device working correctly. It appears to those who look to this forum for answers or suggestions, that VZW doesn't take note of this MMS issue for G2s. The issue is that at some point, we lose the ability to send/receive picture messages through the native messaging app. While no one has pinpointed an exact cause, the Tech Coaches have indicated there is a "known device issue" and that an software update is in the works. Yet, I haven't seen any replies from VZW community customer support mention this to those writing in. The lack of information that flows from customer support is troubling. Nothing in this world is perfect. While we all want our devices to work correctly, it is more about letting us know that you are aware of an issue and that you are attempting a fix for it. Too many have no idea that there is a compatibility problem with the device.

I'm sure most all of you have had this same problem I <strike>had:</strike> When you try to install the firmware update it says 'Plug in your player'!!? A very frusterating message mainly when your player is CLEARLY plugged in. So here's how I came about my solution!?I endlessly searched on this support forum, and I found that several people had found the solution several different ways!? Then other people have tried other's solutions, and it worked for some, but not all!?The forums have obviously pointed the problem at the computer, and not the player. They are halfly right, the problem isn't what you do on the player, but it's what they do to the player. I figured that there was something that the succesfull posters?did in the mean-time between posts that the unsuccesfull posters didn't do. It also didn't make sense, like others said was the problem, that it was Windows Media Player!? They said that you needed to roll it back, downgrade, to WMP 9 or 0. This made absolutely no sense to me because when I brought up WMP , and 0 for that matter, it recognized 'creative ZEN touch' under the 'synch' tab. After I found the solution, sorry for writing so long about how instead of just what it is: I just wanted to make it clear that this is the solution, I told my dad what it was!?He said that it made perfect sense because when my older brother tried to upgrade his firmware on his Dell MP3 Player, a message said that:It must be fully charged!?Beore you mess up your computer deleting all of these files and waste your time, try plugging your player into the wall at the same time it's plugged into the computer!? This is indicates a hardwre issue:
Check for hardware issues
Related errors: 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1000, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
Error 1015 might happen after making unauthorized modifications to iOS, also called "jailbreaking."
Use recovery mode to restore your device

Iphone 2G 2.0.1 using Linksys WRT54GL- found a solution for wifi problems
My iphone was unable to see my home wifi router .
After many many hours of changing the iphone and the router parameters I found a solution.
I switched the Wireless Network Mode to G-only and put an open DNS (208.67.222.222) on the list of static DNS in my router (setup/basic setup).
Now when iphone got an IP I removed from the iphone Wifi DNS list the other DNS numbers and left only the open DNS address.
I hope this solution will help someone else
Message was edited by: HavaySome of the problems people are having with connections has to do with the fact that for some reason they're either getting an IP address that's not in their subnet or not getting an IP address assigned at all. That was happening to me as well. What happens when you connect via ethernet is that you resolve that problem.
Hopefully Apple will come up with a permanent solution soon. -
Solution for sound issue with MCP78S chip
I have had sound problems where sound would work sometimes then stop working for no reason. Or it would work after I changed the device order in KDE4 but it would only work for KDE4 programs not VLC or console apps.

I installed the alsa package with pacman and noticed that alsamixer would use my PC speaker as the default device.
So my solution to this issue is to blacklist the pc speaker module, this will stop the damn beeping when I use the console and fixed the sound issue.
Open rc.conf and blacklist the modules
MODULES=( !pcspkr !snd_pcsp )
That is it, the modules will no longer be loaded and sound should be working fine after a reboot.i am having problems with this same chipset on my laptop, it plays but it skips some sound, and sometimes it stops completely, very annoying, i have not found any solution to this problem as yet

SOLUTION for all DLT 4000 users
If you have had, like me, troubles in getting your DLT 4000 work with DVDSP 4, here is the solution.
The problem is DVDSP continously asking for the DLT to be inserted, also when you've already put it in.
The DLT 4000 is too old and too slow for your Mac, so the drive doesn't have the time to intialize the tape and something like a "timeout" occurs.
To solve, you need to FREEZE DSPro, do this or use some freezing shareware program:
1. Launch a Terminal window.
2. Change directory to the DVDSP folder, by typing the following:
cd /Applications/DVD\ Studio\ Pro/DVD\ Studio\ Pro.app/Contents/MacOS
(note that the backslashes are required in Unix to "escape" spaces in file
and directory names)
3. Start the DVDSP application from the Unix shell, by typing the following:
./DVD\ Studio\ Pro
4. DVDSP will run normally, but when you get to the point where it wants you
to insert the second tape, click in the Terminal window, and press
"control-Z" to suspend DVDSP. If you did it right, you will see the word
"Suspended" in the Terminal window.
5. Insert the second DLT tape, and wait for the drive to become ready (no
more whirring noises or blinking lights).
6. When you are ready, type "fg" into the Terminal window, and press
[Return]. This will bring DVDSP process back into the shell's "foreground,"
and will begin running again, and start writing to the drive. Life is good
again.
Do not close the Terminal window or type anything else into it until after
you are finished, and exit DVDSP normally.

It is highly recommended that, mimimally, a DLT 8000 and DLT Type IV tape be used for Image submission to replicators.
Writing on the slow DLT4000 is driving your replicator nuts, and some will complain to your clients; as it takes forever to extract the Image in comparison, especially with DVD-9's.
Excellent shape DLT 8000's, about 4 times faster than DLT4000's, can be found on eBay for under $200.

Possible solution for all you that have skipping songs, & scratchy sound

After upgrading to 7.02, I was extremely annoyed with the performance. But here's what I found and did. In a nutshell, you uninstall the new version and install a 6.05 version or earlier. I'll include some links to what I found and hopefully it'll help. Here's the first link and it describes what you need to do. Thanks for the advise in this post... after installing iTunes 7, and then 7.01, my computer was running really slow, iTunes was skiping and garbling and acting terribly... so I really needed to go back to 6.05.
For all of you that need to do the same it's pretty easy:
I downloaded the 6.05 install file from from oldapps, uninstalled 7.01 and then re-installed 6.05. When I ran iTunes it did give me the error message that the library file was created in a new version and couldn't open, but I then deleted the 'itunes library.itl' file (in My Music > iTunes folder) and then replaced it with the backup that was automatically created when I installed 7.01 (in My Music > iTunes > Previous iTunes Libraries). iTunes then started up fine with all my music and playlists. And all the skipping and CPU bogging is better now.
Library file note:
With the library file, when you update iTunes it also updates the library file, which won't work with older versions. So you need to replace this file or create a new one. I would recommend copying/backing up the new library file to a different location to be safe instead of just deleting it. You'll see above where to find the new library file and prior ones. When I made these changes I did two things to be safe, 1) I moved the new "iTunes library.itl" to a backup location instead of deleting it 2) I moved my most recent old library file from(My Music > iTunes > Previous iTunes Libraries) to (My Music > iTunes folder)and renamed it to "iTunes library.itl". It was previously "iTunes library 2006-1-18.itl." Before renaming it, iTunes didn't find the library so renaming it worked. Your file name will most likely have a different date so don't look for the exact file I mentioned. Plus it's probably a good idea to make a copy or back up this library file too.
If you don't have any previous library files, you may need to create a new one. I don't have the info but I believe the link to the post should have that info.
After reading through the post and other info, the only thing that it appears might be lost are playlists that have been created since the upgrade. I don't believe any music should be lost but that's why it's safer to backup the new library just in case. I did not lose any music.

Make sure you try all the other remedies mentioned in other posts. If this didn't work for you then try below. I consider it a last ditch effort since it's going back to a previous version, which unfortunately works much better than 7.0x for me.
Remove & backup your current library file to a different file/location to be safe. Once you do that, uninstall 7.02, and then install 6.05 or any 6 version. Once 6.0x is installed and you've opened it, you'll need to create a new library file. If you've removed the library file from (My Music > iTunes folder)it should load up with a blank slate. What you to do from this point is create a new library file. Read the oldapps link, the post from "Admin" dated 9-30-2006 5:30 PM should help. Most likely all of your music will be under one main file but you might have to add individual folders one at a time depending on how much music you have. Since I didn't have to go this route, I'm not sure if it's the best route but after reading multiple post, this was the most common suggestion. Worst case scenario, you can always reload 7.02 an reinsert the backup library file, which will put you back where you started.

Finally found a solution for sync
over here they offered me the following solution:
iPhone creates a separate folder, so when opening outlook take iPhones original folder and use this as your default calendar. this works for the moment but it is tricky because if I forget to remember to open the other folder: lost entrys and if a shared entry applies it has to be copied. Facit: better than not beeing able to sync but no final solution at all dear apple!Thank you and whoever you copied this from so so much. Having already sent back one new iPod shuffle because after randomly autofilling from my entire music collection depsite following all the troubleshooting tips it just wouldn't let me do anything else, so I conclude it was broken! I then went out and got another new one from a different source only to find I had exactly the same problem. Ok that's too spooky for it to be a hardware problem, but having wasted two evenings of my life trying to sort it out I thankfully came across this post which works!:-) You are my saviour! Come on Apple put a fix out there for this or at least acknowledge there is a problem - otherwise I'm sure you'll end up loosing sales!
