FOUND A WAY TO SEND 5.1 ON OPTICAL! (I THI

Ok, well it doesn't work perfect yet.. But i used the kX project driver from http://kxproject.lugosoft.com and it can differentiate between my speakers!
Basically I have it running on an optical cable from my s2z platinum card into my sony cinema kit.
On the speaker test, it gets the speakers mixed up between left and right.. but it can differentiate between front and rear.. whatever setting i try are wrong in some way.. but it can differentiate between the two and seems more powerful than the creative software..
Any luck anyone else?

If you don't see linghting up on you receiver DolbyDigital or DTS, is not 5.. Your receiver can emulate surround sound from stereo (PCM signal on SPDIF). I did use one software that was doing DolbyDigital form any DirectShow surround source. But since the games ussualy are not directshow... didn't work for them. ?And was using the CPU, not the DSP to do the encoding.
I am asking for several time now the Creativee guys to implement some encoding using their DSP power so I can have surround sound via digital but I don't have an answer yet. I assume that they are very proud of the quality od the DAC's and OA on their board, but I have same stuff in my receiver already. Sure, DTS it is compressed, but in the games it will do just fine.
?I did try the CMedia li've encoding chip (on a TurtleBeach card) - it was working, but it is a software solution and was loading the CPU more than I wanted to... And their EAX implementation sucked.

  • Is there a way to send the email notification as a PDF attachment and the email receipt as an email

    Has anyone found a way to send the email notification as a PDF attachment rather than email? I would still like to send the receipt as an email though? Any thoughts or experiences out there?

    Thanks for prompt response. Does this mean that there are future plans to do this?
    The forms received are used as part of a registration process into aonther system and aren't that User friendly in an email form. They have to be processed as received, so not efficiet to go in through the back end.

  • Recently changed my email provider.  However, Calendar continues to try to send alerts to my old email provider.  I have not found any way to tell Calendar to use the correct email address.  I have chained iCloud, AppleID, and local email settings.

    Sorry for the long title - I thought I had to explain my entire problem there ...
    I recently switched ISPs, so now I have a new email address.  I've updated mail, can send and receive successfully, recreated my iCloud account, and made sure my Contacts entry was correct. But Calendar's alert function stubbornly tries to send email to my old email address.  I haven't found any way to change the list of email addresses that Calendar uses.  This is the Calendar desktop app, not iCal.  Any tips would be appreciated.

    So what was the solution. I have a similar problem on all of my devices now

  • Is there still a way to send an email to phone?

    I have a few pictures in my email I want to forward to my friend's verizon phone. I tried the [email protected] and the [email protected] I've used these email addresses many times but it looks like they aren't working now. I just found this page https://web.vma.vzw.com/vtext/guest/Dashboard.do but there's no way to attach pictures. Is there another way to send pictures to my friend's phone from my email? Thanks for any suggestions

    If you want to send a photo, you'll have to use the vzwpix.com after the phone number; vtext.com is for texts, not picture texts.  And they do work; I know people that do it, and I just sent myself a test message.  Are you sure your friend doesn't have texting blocked?  Have they blocked messages sent from e-mail?  Could you send it to their e-mail?

  • FCC problem:  Empty document found. Proceed without sending message

    Hi all,
    I am doing FCC to FCC scenario.
    In that I am getting the following message in Communication channel Monitoring.

    <b>Channel CC_File_FILBAS009_Sender</b>: Empty document found. Proceed without sending message

    and My File structure is as follows..

    -HEADER
    Field1
    Field2
    Field3
    -DATA
    Field4
    Field5
    Field6
    -TRAILER
    Field7
    Field8
    Field9
    FCC Parameters are:
    RecordsetName : RS
    HEADER.fieldFixedLengths                   :  5,1,5
    HEADER.fieldNames                            :  Field1,Field2,Field3
    HEADER.keyFieldName                       :  Field2
    HEADER.keyFieldValue                       :  'H'
    HEADER.endSeparator                        :  'nl'
    In the same way I gave conversion parameters to DATA and TRAILER also.
    Can any one tell me what is the problem?
    Regards,
    Pavani

    hi pavani,
    excuse me about my previous reply.
    I was just checking your FCC parameters. I see fieldseparator missing and also is it possible to paste sample input data.
    I fieldsepartor is also not necessary since you have fiexedlengths. Since you say FCC to FCC and you paste the receiver FCC parameters
    regards

  • Is there any way to send an event invitation to multiple people, but hide invitees' email addresses from recipients? I need to keep their details private...

    Hi,
    I'm creating a series of events in Lightning, and sending invitations to all my adult class students. Legally, and ethically, I have to keep their personal details private. This includes their email addresses. I can't find a way to send invitations to a dozen people, without them seeing everyone's email addresses. I need something like a bcc option really. Is there a way please? Google calendar seems to be able to do it, but I don't want to use that, I far prefer TB/Lightning - largely because I can then send invitations from my business address instead of Gmail.
    Thanks very much,
    Melanie

    The following is intended as general guidance about changing the to: designation in Thunderbird. I must admit I'm not sure how it works with calendar event invitations. I need to check. Of course, amongst colleagues and in the workplace generally, it's not required to hide addresses, and as that's pretty much the only context I have used automatically generated invitation emails, I hadn't found any need to use bcc:.
    Thunderbird has bcc. Click on to: to change it.
    Tip: change it when you add the first address, then each address you subsequently add will be set to bcc: automatically.
    If you're using a Mailing List, bcc: will apply to each address in the list too.
    And try F9 to see a Contacts Sidebar in the Compose window. This has explicit "Add to..." buttons.

  • After I updated my MacbookPro with a Maverick, my iphoto cannot be used anymore.  Is there a way to send my old iphoto albums to icloud or is it just too late?

    Hi Barry!
    I owe you a proper Thank you! You were right about me needing to update my software. I have been pretty clueless about many of the computer applications I've heard of, but I've learned a bit by doing what you suggested.  I was able to "fix" my iphoto and a I got a few other nice changes after updating the 3 free updates that were available to me.  Thanks so much! - One thing that was so wonderful about getting my iphoto "back" was being able to  share my photos with my Dad for this weekend-during his 88th birthday!
    I'm glad I found you in our "community".  Hopefully,  I can learn enough to help others too, eventually.
    All the best to you,

  • No way to send/receive APDU to SmartCard Reader from W8.1?

    Hi everybody,
    with Windows Phone 8.1 you have the SmartCardConnection class through which you can send APDU to a smartcard (see below)
    private async Task sendApduToReader()
    string selector = SmartCardReader.GetDeviceSelector(SmartCardReaderKind.Generic);
    DeviceInformationCollection devices = await DeviceInformation.FindAllAsync(selector);
    if (devices != null && devices.Count != 0)
    SmartCardReader reader = await SmartCardReader.FromIdAsync(devices.First().Id);
    IReadOnlyList<SmartCard> cards = await reader.FindAllCardsAsync();
    if (cards != null && cards.Count != 0)
    SmartCard card = cards.First();
    //Here in W8.1 there is no ConnectAsync method and no SmartCardConnection class.
    SmartCardConnection connection = await card.ConnectAsync(); var responseBuf = await connection.TransmitAsync(SOMEDATA);
    In Windows 8.1 API there is no such class, so there is no way to send APDU to the smartcard.
    Is there any workaround?
    Many Thanks!

    Oops, sorry, misunderstand your previous question :)
    Yes, the API only works on Windows Phone 8.1 but not work on Windows Store App, and there seems no equivalent method that can do it.
    I also found some comments from:
    http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Build/2013/2-041#c635084018346669735, only Win32 applications can send APDU commends to SmartCardDevice.
    On the other side, if we want to make things ready, we need to create our own wrapper, I found an interesting blog that you can follow:
    http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/540839/Using-Smart-cards-with-a-Windows-Store-App
    Hope helps.

Is there any way to send text messages to people and contacts that do not have iphones such as friends with blackberrys or a samsung galaxy smartphone from this ipad. Everytime I try to send a message to a person that does not have an Apple product ( Iphone or Ipad ) it comes up saying contact is not registered for iMessage and wont send it. I can only send them a message from my iPhone 4 instead. Do I have to install a new App from the App store to send these non iMessage cell users a message?

  • Is there a way to send multiple pdf's in one email from iBooks?  I have several that I've saved that I need to send to one person. If it can't be done directly, is there a work around?

  • Is there a way to send and receive SMS on multiple cellular devices without using iMessage?

    I currently own a cellular iPad mini and an iPhone 4s and would like SMS to be the same on both devices as well as my desktop.
    After many months of struggling with iMessage, I decided to turn it off entirely.  I discovered that my best friend did not receive dozens of my texts over the span of a few months (I compared our message history side by side).  Seems like it had something to do with traveling in and out of wifi zones or possibly conflicts between our two carriers, ATT and Verizon.  Regardless, I am not willing to dive into iMessage fully until this gets sorted out.  Further, SMS is the standard message format for everyone outside of the Apple sphere, and I do not feel comfortable lumping them together into one app.  If I decide to switch to Android, will all of my contacts with iPhones continue sending me iMessages?
    Thank you for your help!

    Is there a way to send and receive SMS on multiple cellular devices without using iMessage?
    Search the iTunes App Store for any 3rd party SMS apps that may be available.
    If I decide to switch to Android, will all of my contacts with iPhones continue sending me iMessages?
    Android phones don't receive iMessages, they can recieve SMS messages sent through the iOS Messages app. The app that your contacts choose to use to send you messages is completely up to them.

  • Is there a way to send an e-mail to everyone in my address book WITHOUT typing/selecting each address in individually?

    My old e-mail address is going to be discontinued and I need to notify everyone in my Mozilla Thunderbird address book. Is there a way to send an e-mail to everyone in my address book WITHOUT typing/selecting each address in individually?

    Bonjour zmerill
    Yes it is possible and simple to do.
    - In the compose window of TB, display the address books on the left
    - select the adress book you want
    - select normally the first contact (left click)
    - while pressing a shift key, select the last contact (--> all selected)
    - just under the last contact, use the button you want.
    In an address book it is also possible to create a mailing list.
